Easy DOC Builder is Windows software for manufacturers, importers and compliance teams that need EU (CE) and UK (UKCA) declarations of conformity. A step-by-step interview asks only what applies to the product: the legislation, the conformity assessment procedure, a notified or approved body when one is needed, the standards used and who signs. One set of answers produces both the EU and the UK declaration, as PDF and Word, laid out as Decision 768/2008/EC Annex III requires. For connectable products sold in the UK, the same interview also writes the PSTI statement of compliance (S.I. 2023/1007), including the security requirements, deemed compliance through ETSI EN 303 645 and the defined support period. 26 pieces of EU legislation are built in and mapped to their UK equivalents, including toys, LVD, EMC, RED, RoHS, machinery, PPE, pressure equipment, ATEX and medical devices. Test reports, certificates and risk assessments are kept with each declaration, with expiry reminders and a one-click technical file export. A dashboard lists reviews due, expiring evidence, superseded standards and upcoming legislation changes. One declaration can cover a whole product range imported from Excel or CSV. PDFs can be digitally signed and time-stamped. Teams can share a network, SharePoint or OneDrive folder with roles, approvals, edit locks and an activity log. Data stays on the user's own computer or network.
