What do you like best?

The chart contains everything you need for your dental practice, and there are some very basic reporting tools that you can use to understand your patient base and track your AR. It integrates well with Dexis and most other imaging programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Easy Dental is clunky and slow. Support hold times are also incredibly long. Windows 7 doesn't play well with Server 2012 and Easy Dental, as long lag times are pretty common when going through the chart. If you have all new computers and the latest version of Easy Dental, there's not much slowness, but on systems that worked fine a couple years ago we're seeing a lot of network slowdowns. What do you like best?

Software is easy to use so new employees pick it up really quickly. Has a lot of great features while keeping it simple. Lots of add-on electronic services available. Online resource center is really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

It doesn't have all the bells & whistles as other products - like Dentrix. Easy Dental is more like a scaled-down, simplified version of Dentrix. Wish it was on the cloud!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Interface is simple and easy to use. The layout makes a lot of sense. Great for beginner dental software users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Lack of certain insurance features, unable to purge benefits used or enter in if patient used benefits at a different office. Making family changes is more trouble than its worth, having to close all other easydentals before seemingly minor edits. Recall generating is confusing as well. Files do not work properly and we have not been able to transition to a paperless office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Features are more limited on Easy Dental than other dental softwares I have used. Easy Dental is very user friendly but some prefer the ability to have multiple windows open ie, patient file and chart at the same time. Easy Dental does not allow for the, all work must be done in the same window. Easy Dental is good for offices who prefer to remain semi paperless and save specific physical documents for reference. It works seamlessly with other softwares such as Dentrix and Demandforce. I recommend for more basic practices but not ones with multiple doctors and specialties. Scheduling is a breeze, certain configuring options add more ease to the user friendly benefits. Reports are very detailed. Correspondence added benefit for improved employee communication regarding patients. Configuration of buttons in charts very helpful and user friendly. What do you dislike?

I wish I could see who touched an appointment last based on individual log in (like with Open Dental or Dentrix). It's just helpful to hold accountability should there be any mistakes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
