Nimbello shortened our invoice processing by multiple days and allowed us to keep a smaller staff. **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Gary E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023 **What do you like best about Nimbello?** Nimbello has successfully allowed Northwestern to reduce staffing levels while getting invoices processed quicker and more easily than our previous process. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** Invoices aren't ready immediately and it can take a couple of days until they are available in the Nimbello system. A small price to pay for the improved functionality and cost savings. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nimbello solved our issues with staffing levels and imaging the invoice copies. They also significantly improved our fiscal year end close process. The two fiscal year end close processes we've gone through since go-live were the easiest we've ever had. We no longer needed to do a lot of invoice shuffling to ensure the correct invoices were processed against the correct fiscal year. We were able to work with Nimbello to process everything as it arrives. Timing was significantly improved with almost no issues throughout the entire close process. Nimbello was extremely helpful with year end close. ### 2. Features are easy to see and easy to read. Drop-downs and buttons are easy to access. I like that the reports are straightforward and easy to comprehend. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** I don't particularly like that the browser "back" button cannot be used as a function within the software. Also, I wouldn't say I like the process for users to submit comments on transactions. I believe that this could be more streamlined. I do wish that Nimbello would adopt some features similar to Quickbooks in that when reports are open, transactions in those reports can be selected for further inquiry. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nimbello is great at providing communication with its customers, and it seems to actually care about consumer needs. By reaching out to their users for feedback, what the consumers actually want will be recognized. ### 3. I also like the fact that we have always had a person to ask questions to and help with the program. I have not worked with a system like Nimbello prior to this. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** The small glitches we have since upgrading. All problems have been resovled with the Nimbello team. It could be better by not having the glitches during patchs. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are still working on getting problems with the 4.0 upgrade solved. Benefits is to get Nimbello to work for us the way it was working before the uppgrade. ### 5. Whether it be the responses or how fast our invoices are uploaded into the Nimbello system. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** At Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing, one of the dislikes are sometimes an invoice will be archived at an assumption that it is a duplicate invoice when it is really not a duplicate. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** Nimbello helps us to be able to upload the hundreds of invoices we receive in a day for processing. It saves Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing an incredible amount of time! ### 6. It is easy to navigate. You also have multiple ways to find your invoices. I like how I can run reports for various things. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** I wish the Hold Reason could be a little more specific. Sometimes it notes the wrong code. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** It resolves our issue of getting invoices processed in a timely manner. Before AP was spending a lot of time entering the invoices. Now there time is freed up to do other tasks. ### 7. This is unique compared to other platforms I've used before. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** With the long wait time to move from one status to another, It's sometimes a bit of a hassle to wait to process an invoice that has been resolved besides this detail , all other is okay. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helpful to log in to the company portal, and as an AP specialist, only focus on those documents that have not passed the 3-way match process. The layout allows the user to look up invoice history quickly and conveniently. ### 8. One of my favortie features is when GL codes get auto coded to invoices. This really saves me time so managers can approve because sometimes I forget about them. **What do you dislike about Nimbello?** The only complain I have is the times invoices are uploaded to QAD. I wish there was more times for them to get uploaded because sometimes it takes for ever and it holds me up to make a payment because of that. **What problems is Nimbello solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps clean up clutter like with paper invoices. It also helps with emails because everything is done on Nimbello, from communicating something to getting approvals on the website. ### 9.
