**What do you like best about Ease?**

Simply, easy to navigate, on both the administrative side (employer) as well as for the users (employees). Using Ease definitely minimizes paperwork, therefore reducing my workload; a one-stop shop for sure!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

There really are not any downsides to Ease and so far I have not encountered anything that I dislike. It does become difficult to use all the wonderful features Ease offers when employees say they don't use or have an email address; thankfully there aren't too many people without email addresses.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time constraints- trying to meet with all of the employees to explain benefits. I don't have to worry about stressing to catch the different employees working different shifts. Saves on paper and printer toner as I don't have to print out paper applications/enrollment forms for most employees any longer. Ease is far more efficient than scanning and emailing documents to the insurance broker who then will forward them to various insurance companies; cutting out the extra set of hands will ensure things don't get overlooked, missed, lost etc. Changes are easy to carry out on ease so hopefully, I won't have to deal with the headache of having to locate the correct docs to submit. It's definitely going to save a lot of time.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The processes are simple, adding employees and sending logins is pretty self-explanatory. The help articles are very useful most of the time.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

There are a few fields when adding Benefits and enrollments that took a while for me to figure out, even with the Help articles & videos.  Specific instructions for how to add benefit plans would be nice.  Also, Medical carrier connections in the state of Kansas would be extremely helpful.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to keep enrollments and HR information in one place.  This helps Payroll know what deductions to take out, and also gives the employees access to see what benefits they have.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Open enrollment has been 100% easier since we began using Ease. I also like the ability to generate a lot of reports from the system.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I wish it could share data with our payroll system, but our system is specific to our industry.

Employees find it much easier to fill out onboarding forms in the system instead of paper forms

How user friendly it is. I find that most changes are done in less than a minute and I like that you can make notes.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Some of the functions are not turned on as the client and you have to go to the vendor to help with it.

Ease helps with getting employees auto-enrolled which is very important in our line of work.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease makes it easy for employees to make elections. The setup for the Adminstrator(s) is straightforward as well. However, better software is available that is more interactive for the employee and offers better reporting for the Administrator. Ease does have a good "look" and works well to elect coverage.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Ease's reporting is lacking. The reports are okay but do not offer an easy way to see elections - you must sort through the data to find the basic enrollment information. Administrators also have to look at two reports for enrollment data, making it cumbersome and frustrating. As a free option, it works as expected, but better options are available.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease allows employees to make benefit elections electronically, which is much better than paper enrollment forms.

Technical support has been amazing to work with.  Very short hold times and was able to solve my issues on the first call.  Amazing staff on the technical side

It is a little cumbersome to connect some carriers to the platform.

We can easily collect underwriting data from staff and eliminate the large amount of paper.

It's brought organization to an area where there wasn't much: created a simple way to get employees' benefits elected and maintained.

I like that the employees don't have to input their demographic information multiple times on multiple documents. I also like the electronic signature section while signing the forms.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I think that in comparison to other websites likes Salesforce Ease is too simple on the broker and employer level. You aren't able to mass edit without downloading a census and connections take a long time to make.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with paper applications that multiple groups are still using at their company-wide level. It also helps with carrier connections to eliminate user error when it comes to terminating and enrolling employees.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Clear direction on what to do during the benefits election period.  After employees have made elections, it is also easy for HR staff to pull reports on elections for all employees to double-check for errors

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I do not like that Ease does not check for insurance programs/plan eligibility.  For example, only employees with an HSA plan can sign up for the HSA account, but the system allows any employee to enroll.  We then have to go in and fix it so they are enrolled in the FSA.  I would like Ease to roll out if-then formatting for the HSA Account/ FSA account section; for example, if an employee chooses an HSA plan, they are prompted with the HSA account elections form but can not choose to elect the FSA account and vice versa.  If an employee chooses a non-HSA account, they should only have the option for an  FSA, and an HSA should not even appear as an option.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None that I am aware of but I have seen changes to the format and appearance of the platform.  We do not use all of Ease's offerings so I am only aware of benefits enrollment offerings

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The Ease platform is so simple for employees to engage and select their Company HR  benefits.  They can use the calculator that keeps a current account of their weekly benefit expense allowing them to maximize benefits that fit their budget.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Ease and Paylocity are not connected, but it's not 100% with the transfer of information.  The training about what is communicated was brief.  I'm learning as I go.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease allows for voluntary benefits to be understood and enrolled into simply.  Many new enrollees have taken the time to watch the short video for the voluntary Unum products and have enrolled.

Payroll integration has been challenging and I would like more direct assistance from a team to help.

Gathering all data up front instead of constantly having to follow up from missing information. We also find more employees enroll when they see the cost first hand.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The ability to sign forms digitally and for Aflac enrollments to go directly to Aflac. Also, the ability for brokers to route enrollment reports directly to insurance providers.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Some limitations of the software being unable to understand some specific situations during benefits enrollment. Like when employees elect an HDHP but then want a full medical FSA without an HSA, the system only understands the ability to offer an employee a limited-purpose FSA. That and the inability for the system to give an estimated deduction for benefits that require approval first, tricking some employees into thinking that a specific voluntary benefit is fully paid by the company.

**Recommendations to others considering Ease:**

If your broker offers ease for free to use for benefits administration, and you don't have another virtual benefits enrollment portal set up, Ease is a no-brainer. But if you're looking around for more robust and flushed out platforms that can do a lot of different kinds of benefits admin, I think there are better options in the market.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to offer an open enrollment program that works great in a 100% remote working environment has been a big help. We were doing just paper enrollments prior to Ease.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

We like that the portal has the ability to email the employees when onboarding or during open enrollment. We also utilize the documents section to hold important HR files by employees. We can upload documents privately that the employee cannot see or upload them in the shared file that the employee can see. This has been a very helpful tool.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I cannot think of anything we dislike. The portal has the ability to customize to your needs and I haven't run into any issues as of yet. We have been using this system for quite some years.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a secure online area to hold private employee documents such as HR verbal and written warnings. We spoke with our representative who shows us the documents section and explained how the private section will stay just for internal use and the shared file will be viewable by the employee. This has really helped us keep empolyee incident reports and other documentation secure.

Ease has a professional look, ease of use and a clean, comprehensive flow.  When one-offs occur as they will with any account, their support staff is easy to access to get help right away.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

The only thing I do not like is that a benefits counselor cannot add employees - an admin must add them. It would be better with different levels of access.

Ease assists with benefit administration. Reports are easy to pull based on carrier or a full employee census if needed.  Ease helps the enrollment process go smoothly.

Large font, uncluttered pages, easy to scan at a glance - it is well-designed and laid out; the process for electing benefits is thorough, yet couldn't be simpler for an employee to follow; the 9 Easy Steps guide is really helpful; the more I use it as an Admin, the more I like it

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Always a bit of a pain to go thru 2-factor authentication, but that's the world we live in - at least Ease texts the code almost instantly and its good for 24 hours

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes benefits enrollment for newly eligible employees as much of a breeze as it can be; I rarely have to help anyone understand how to walk thru it. For open enrollment, it's always a time crunch for us and Ease has really helped speed up the process

Need MORE carrier connections.  The carriers that are connected are not the ones we typically use.

I don't know what they are solving.  Im sure they push some communications out but I am too busy to look at them.

I love the notifications and the ability to print out all of the necessary/required forms. The notification process is the best!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I do not like how I can't see the bad email responses.  If someone has a bad email I never know until I email them directly. When employers make changes to the system I do not have visability.

Review all details and enjoy.

I am having "real" time enrollment changes. The effective date change abilty saves  my day, I could not surrive without the ability to change it.

All the information is in one place. It's easy to look up someone's benefits, it's easy to terminate an employee.  The employees have easy access to their plans and prices.   Support is great.  Ease made a tedious task very easy.

There are no downsides.  It is so easy to use.

Delivering benefits information and prices to the employees is so easy now.  I can look up coverage in seconds. All this makes me more productive and I have more time to complete other tasks.

Some of our benefits are not linked with EASE for benefit changes.  Once the change is made in EASE, we must log in to each carrier to update their records.

Ease is extremely efficient.  I am able to quickly ascertain information regarding my associates' benefits.  I also like the reports that I can generate.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The layout is very user-friendly. For my team of 47 employees ranging from very young to seasoned... All were able to navigate easily without much help needed.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I can't really think of any downfalls to the website/app. I did have some employees that were waiving health insurance coverage that weren't sure why they had to put in so much personal information before waiving. Once they understood they would still get a chance to specify, they were fine.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of my employees were able to log in and process their health insurance coverage on line rather than filling out forms and requiring me to manually submit them. A huge time saver for me as a manager.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

I love it that I can just email the info direct to my new employees and they can do it not only at their leisure, but that it is all contained in one package.
In the past, benefit administration was a hassle to make sure that they received the info, that they were properly comparing plans, etc.  Now it's so easy!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

The only downside that I have seen (and maybe I just do not know how to do it yet!!) is that there is no follow-up system to make sure that team members actually enroll.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems ISN'T it solving is the question??  All our information now is in one place - it's cohesive - easy to understand.  My new team members have no problems enrolling, and all their options are right there for them.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is such a great platform. It is user-friendly throughout all internet services, and employers/ employees love it. As an Insurance brokerage, it is essential to provide our clients with the best technology, which is all Ease. We use it with our smallest clients to our largest, and everyone loves it.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

There are no dislikes on my end. I believe there is always room for improvement, but with Ease updating on their end we do not have to worry about it. I can not complain.

Ease is a wonderful tool for managing client census information, and it aids in bringing clients from a paper-based solution forward.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

The lack of support from Ease. Resources are all video based so it relies on the broker to have staff train themselves.

Ease is a great tool to better manage a group and provide a smaller agency a tool that we didn't have access to in the past. Makes open enrollment and new hire management easier too.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The ease with which you move from one site to another.  I appreciate that most places are easy to understand.  User friendly and follow common sense. 

Many competitor companies make things difficult to understand and hard to follow.  The directions are hard to follow because they are written in legalese.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Haven't found anything that I dislike about it yet.  I'll let you know if and when I do.

Every issue that has come up, EASE has been there to help resolve.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

I like how straightforward the platform is. I don't have to search around for things, or click through countless windows to get where I need to be. So many other provides make their platforms so confusing.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Ease doesn't seem to sync with many HRIS. In example, we use BambooHR and even though Ease says the sync together, they do not. This means all data entry is duplicated for me when employees have benefit changes.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease has provided an easy to use system that keeps track of all my benefits information in one place. This has saved me so much time when it comes to new hire enrollment, open enrollment, etc.

Keeping an up-to-date roster of all groups, The easy to find benefit summaries, and reminders to renew.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I don't like that it does not auto-load new rates for the renewal, I would like it to auto renew all information. I would like some more customizable reports. I want to include the data that I want and exclude the data that I don't.

Organization. Helps us keep all information in one place and not chase after paper apps.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is so simple to use and is extremely user friendly in navigating the tabs and information you need. They also have carrier feeds for your vendors and COBRA support, which has made life so much easier. Our broker is able to login and do all of the work. I also love that it shows the employees how much their monthly premiums will be as they go, so nothing is a surprise when they get to the end of their enrollment.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Honestly, there are no downsides. I know, every product has something that doesn't work, but for our needs, it has been a huge upgrade from our last BenAdmin system and I'm glad we switched.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease is cutting down on the amount of time and manual work for employees' enrollment in benefits. I can clearly see who has enrolled and who is still lagging, along with pulling a large variety of reports that make any manual work easy.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is the best way to have what you need easily accessible to your employees. The portal is how we let our employees know who to set up their benefits and any answers to questions they may have.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Not everyone knows what Ease is so when they get sent the email they are a bit confused and I always get calls asking if it is legit. I wish there were more people who knew about Ease so it would make the employees feel a little more comfortable.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps with our open enrollment process. Making it a one-stop shop for all their benefit needs. It makes open enrollment easy especially since switching our Payroll company to Paylocity which integrates with Ease.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease it simple and straightforward. It lets me enter new employees or update their information including the job title, location, pay, etc.  Our account manager also has access so we can work collaboratively on keeping our info current.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

The actual SUBMISSION of elections gets missed often by employees because it's after you are forced to leave a review.  I think holding employees' information hostage to solicit a review is unethical, and it requires me to chase after them to go back in and start all over to get their elections done on time.  

It isn't always intuitive where to find things, and I wish the help function was a little more useful and robust.  I've used it enough years now that it isn't a huge deal, but sometimes finding what is needed should be easier.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helpful to see all my employees' information in one place and to be able to track elections, changes, status, etc.  Tracking it on paper would be a nightmare.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

This is my 3rd Open Enrollment using the Ease software and I cannot say enough good things about it. Much smoother than the process we had in place before. I like how user friendly the benefits enrollment process is. You can add your beneficiaries, and it gives you a running total on the side so you know how much it will cost you each month/pay period.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

As a benefit administrator, one thing I dislike is that some of the benefits are not completely set up with the carrier. For example, any benefits enrollments/terminations with Further have to be done by me. An EDI feed to each carrier would smooth the process out.

**Recommendations to others considering Ease:**

Streamline your Open Enrollment and new enrollments/terminations with Ease!

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of too much paper. Going paperless is huge for Human Resources so having benefit enrollments online instead of filling out 8 different enrollment forms saves a lot of time. It also saves time for me not having to login to each portal and enroll someone in their benefits, our benefit consultants are the ones who send the enrollment information to the carrier.

The time it takes for Ease to update the carrier forms.  Carriers do not always provide these in a timely manner in the 4th quarter

I like that during Open Enrollment, all required information is already loaded.  It makes it easier for our Insurance Broker and the HR Department to do Open Enrollment.

I disliked not having training on getting our payroll system data into EASE automatically when I started using it for the Company.  I am sure now they do training and work with the clients payroll or HRIS provider but that was not offered when I first started using it.

Yes, this system cuts down the administration involved in managing employee benefits for a company, big or small.  Keeps all dependent records handy and on file when it's insurance renewal time.

Something I wish EASE had was the connection capability between ease and carriers -- would love to have my groups have file feeds set up to minimize errors and ensure data is fed over accurately and in a timely manner.

The ability it has for my groups to easily access their employee's data and also pull reportings easily.

Ease is so user-friendly. Making choices on Ease is so easy the directions on how to use it are one page. I recommend this website to all the staff I work with.

A downside of using ease is hard to say. There is almost nothing that I see as being a downside to the use of ease. It user friendly and it has tools to help everyone.

Ease is helping the business I work for when we have a new hire enrolling or an employee that is deciding to leave to ensure they receive their COBRA information.

The Admin and employee sides are equally easy to understand and use! Making employment updates is very quick, making my job easier. Open enrollment has gone so smoothly, and our employees give it 5 stars as well!

I have not experienced any downside or things that I dislike! I love that Ease is effortless to navigate! I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the market.
