EASA may make it more difficult to manage Excel spreadsheets that contain complicated calculations or VBA, which may cause integration problems. Technical difficulties could arise with web-enabling technologies, and adding capabilities like database storage or workflow management could make things more complicated and expensive, particularly for smaller companies. The native model, or process, becomes server based and is only accessible by the web app interface (not the user), while EASA allows you to create a web interface, which is essentially a web page (but without any HTML programming) that contains the input data fields and fields for the calculated outputs, including any charts, tables, reports, or PDFs.
