The support team is able to make tweaks and customizations based on specific use-cases, which has allowed us to tailor the integrations as a) our business needs have changed over time, and b) as Shopify has updated their APIs over time. No real downsides, but it does add an other layer of software (which must be maintained) between NAV and Shopify so this is something to consider depending on your specific business requirements.
