It allows me to watch what the students are doing and if I see them off task I can add the the website or application they are on to a black list. Recently I discovered another great use. The only downside is that the program refreshes the image of the students screen only every minute or so. This is not much of a problem, since you do not need it to update more often and it saves bandwidth and processing power by updating less often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that DyKnow allows me to see my students screen, block them from websites, and/or allow them on only the one or two websites I want them on! I love that DYKNOW allows me to look at my student's screens without having to creep over the student's shoulders. In a time where social distancing is extremely important, being able to monitor my students is necessary more than ever, usually, I walk around my classroom and observe. However, when I have to maintain 6 feet, in a class of 28, I don't have the space to do that! DYKNOW has helped me a lot. It also allows me to send reminders and notes over the application. I can remind students to join zoom, message positive reinforcement, or hints about assignments. I can see their screens and the areas the students have questions about the work they are completing. I don't dislike much about the application, my only dislike is that students cannot message me back if I send them something. It would be great to create private communication between the teacher and the student. Many students have severe social anxiety and dislike talking in front of a crowd of their peers.
