The metrics DX provides are really well thought through. They try to really capture the essential bits out of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the way DX manages surveys; it’s very effective and well organized. Moreover, beyond all the reports available, the ability to build on top of plain SQL is a real blessing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve is steep, and the product has so many functionalities that it’s easy to get lost at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thanks, Marco! It’s great to hear that the SQL-based reporting is a win for your team. We definitely hear you on the learning curve; with so many features, we’re focused on making the experience more intuitive and providing world-class support so you can find those efficiency gains even faster.
- very straightforward
- one stop shop for getting team feedback, assessing team health, and being able to improve my own managing based upon it.
- I like being able to see industry metrics and that I can see how my team specifically compares to the wider org. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm not a huge fan of having the comments and ratings side by side in the overall view. I think I'd like it more if comments were shown when I clicked on a specific category instead of seeing a comment, having to go look for the category its referring to and then assessing. Insights and recommendations. The tool itself is really powerful and has given me insights into my team that i couldnt get easily before. Team interactions and the new SLA's are two of my favourite features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the reporting is rigid and requires you work for what you're looking for. For example my team pair programs almost by default and because the developer speed is measured by pr's divided by number of devs the performance of my team from a speed perspective doesnt look great. There's no clear of easy way to adjust for this right now. So i have to manually tweak reports to account for it. I have a similar thing for Lead contributions while they are active contributors there commits are far more infrequent due to the nature of their role. This isnt easily factored in. That said the custom reporting and AI tooling mean you can find ways around these things Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AI utilization and impact reports are my favorite. I like to explore how different teams and team members use AI and what impact that usage has on their projects.
The interface is easy to use and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't been able to find a "Dark Mode" setting. That'd be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Organizing of teams and in particular managers. sometimes I am not aware if I should participate or not Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Surfaces a suite of metrics, score cards, and analytic capabilities that most organizations don't have the resources to build themselves. This is immensely helpful for teams building systems that are difficult to quantify the ROI for (e.g. DevEx platforms) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I want to be able to export (or better yet, an API) my data into my AI agent workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Making the ROI case for dev experience work is genuinely hard, and we built DX to make it easier. Really glad it's working. If you need to take that story upstream, our executive reporting features and new DX AI are built for exactly that. Let me know if you need help seeing it in action!
I like that the tool can be used in multiple ways across the organisation, with a wide range of features that support those different needs.
For our leadership team, it offers useful insights to help steer our engineering strategy and track how we’re progressing against it.
For Platform teams, it’s a valuable way to gather internal user feedback and use those insights to inform roadmap decisions.
For individual teams, it provides a strong pulse-check to reflect on and retrospect about the developer experience, helping drive meaningful improvements at the team level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
After using the product for a while, we’ve found that the drivers are more useful at the leadership level than for generating platform product insights. In our case, we’ve relied more on CSATs and PlatformX surveys to gather information that’s been more actionable and helpful. That approach naturally comes with a small additional overhead. It is great to see how you are leveraging DX across leadership, platform, and individual teams to move beyond the what and understand the why. We appreciate the feedback on using CSATs and PlatformX for more granular insights; our customer success managers are available to help you streamline that overhead and ensure your roadmap decisions remain as actionable as possible.

I appreciate being able to access all the information about delivery, development performance, and various metrics in a single location. Each week, I receive helpful insights that highlight both areas of improvement and aspects that may have declined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times, I find it difficult to determine whether I have all the necessary data stored in the warehouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
