LeakResponder finds secrets that have leaked into your code and shows you exactly how to fix them. It scans your repository and its full git history for API keys, cloud credentials, tokens, database passwords and private keys. Deleting a file doesn't make a leaked secret safe, so LeakResponder looks at every past commit, not just the current code. Each finding is ranked by risk, based on secret type, where it appears and how long it has been exposed, so your team fixes the dangerous ones first. For every secret, LeakResponder gives a step-by-step rotation runbook: revoke the old credential, issue a new one, update where it's used, and confirm the fix. LeakResponder runs inside your own CI pipeline, so your code never leaves your infrastructure. Secrets are never printed in full or sent to any external service. Findings appear as comments directly on the pull request line that needs attention, so developers can fix issues without switching tools.
