**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

The back-office environment is clean and well organized, without too much unnecessary bloat. There are plenty of tooltips that make it easier to understand the interface and what you’re working with. The inventory system is simple and communicates clearly.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

It can be difficult to find reports that include a very specific set of fields, and I also really dislike the AI support system. It used to be much easier to solve issues when you could chat with an agent almost instantly. Now you have to pull teeth with the AI first, which can be incredibly frustrating. You end up explaining the issue to the AI and then having to repeat yourself all over again once you finally get to an agent.

**What problems is Dutchie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Dutchie agents, Alex, Rob and Brian have been incredibly helpful with helping us solve and understand a variety of issues, as well as keeping track of our running tickets.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

This software is easy to use and has the features I need. I like the inventory management and the marketing tools, and I appreciate that it works as an all-in-one solution for dispensary needs, from in-store operations to e-commerce. Customer support has also been extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

Reordering and reporting inventory levels are two areas that need improvement, but Dutchie recently rolled out some features that should help address these downsides.

**What problems is Dutchie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a multi-store owner, I only have to complete a task once and it applies across multiple stores, both on the POS and on e-commerce. There’s no need for third-party e-commerce, and the integration is instant. So when we make a change to a product, we can push that update to multiple stores while still excluding a specific store if we need to. This has saved us money on labor and cut down the time we spend on repetitive updates.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

Strong all-around performance. The UI is easy to use and truly seed-to-sale, with integration options available when needed. Competitive contract pricing and dedicated support are also a plus, including an AI chat, live support, and teams of account managers focused on ensuring operational success.

The interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. Our retail front line likes how the cart displays important details like allotment, discounts applied, loyalty points, and customer attributes, which makes sales easier. On the backend, the UI is neatly organized, and managing inventory is simple. For our data team, the ability to bulk update data fields is an essential feature we rely on to support operational needs as we grow and change.

There are many integration options, whether for state traceability, accounting, ecommerce, marketing, and more. This lets users customize their experience and use third-party tools; however, many of these tools can also be found baked into Dutchie if a more closed-loop approach is preferred. Overall, Dutchie is very well-rounded and makes all aspects of operations easier for us. They are always working on new features, and it has never gone stale. I would certainly recommend it to new and existing operators.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

For ecommerce, you currently can’t pin certain brands ahead of others. I think adding this as an option would be really powerful, and it wouldn’t interfere with sponsored brand widgets that can be purchased. Being able to choose which brands to highlight or prioritize internally, and to use that for filtering, is essential.

**What problems is Dutchie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using multiple softwares to operate. Ecommerce, Loyalty, Messaging, Traceability, and some reporting tools. Dutchie solved that for us; we went from 5-6 programs to 2-3. We chose to keep some third party integrations but going from seed to sale in a closed loop is great for performance visibility and reporting.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

I find Dutchie's filtering capabilities incredibly useful for managing a wide variety of inventory, whether zoomed in or as a collective. The ability to easily investigate through history and journals is a plus. Business Intelligence is by far the most valuable tool for me. I've created dashboards that really give a snapshot of important information that applies to multiple departments. It's extremely easy to digest the data, and even the owners and higher management have expressed how game-changing the dashboards have been for their day-to-day operations. I love tracking aged inventory to ensure nothing over 90 days is sold, knowing the batches in production, and tracking sales trends of our various rolls to align with market demands. The functionality throughout the whole platform is fantastic, and the support has always been helpful. Also, setting up Dutchie was very smooth, it’s user-friendly, and once we got used to it, it was much easier than METRC.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

If anything, system outages would be my biggest complaint, and that happens very few and far between.

I use Dutchie for managing inventory with filtering capabilities and tracking history. Its Business Intelligence helps track popular SKUs, production needs, sales trends, and simplifies decision making with easy-to-digest dashboards.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

What I like best about Dutchie is how it brings a lot of the day-to-day operations into one system. Being able to manage POS, menus, and reporting in one place helps keep things more organized and easier to work through.

From a marketing and operations side, the menu and pricing updates are really valuable. When everything is set up correctly, it helps keep product info and deals consistent between in-store and online, which is huge for customer experience and avoiding confusion.

I also use the reporting regularly to keep an eye on sales trends, product movement, and overall performance. It helps me quickly see what’s working and where we need to make adjustments.

Overall, it’s a solid, reliable system that plays a big role in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

One of the biggest challenges with Dutchie is that some workflows aren’t as streamlined as they could be, especially when managing menus, pricing, and promotions across different systems or instances. It can require extra manual work to ensure everything is consistent, which leaves more room for discrepancies if something is missed.

There can also be occasional issues with syncing between systems, where updates don’t reflect right away or require troubleshooting. From a marketing standpoint, that can be frustrating when trying to ensure deals are displaying correctly across all platforms.

While reporting is helpful, there are times where pulling specific data or getting a fully clear picture requires a few extra steps or exports.

Overall, it works well, but there are definitely opportunities to improve efficiency, especially around consistency, syncing, and simplifying workflows

**What problems is Dutchie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dutchie helps solve a lot of the operational disconnect between in-store sales, online ordering, and menu management. Without a system like this, keeping product availability, pricing, and promotions aligned would be much more manual and time-consuming.

From a usability standpoint, the interface is fairly straightforward for day-to-day tasks like ringing transactions, updating menus, and pulling reports, which helps keep things moving in a fast-paced environment. The integrations between POS and online ordering are especially important, since that connection directly impacts the customer experience and order accuracy.

It also helps with visibility and performance tracking. Being able to access reporting on sales, product movement, and trends allows us to make more informed decisions around inventory, promotions, and overall strategy. While it may take a few steps to get exactly what you need, the data is there and useful.

Overall, it streamlines core workflows, supports better decision-making, and helps reduce friction between systems, which ultimately improves both internal efficiency and the customer experience.

I like how Dutchie makes it easy to learn and train others, which avoids mistakes and reduces the need for managers to get involved constantly. Dutchie Pay is amazing and really helps to get customers out the door fast, especially if they already have a Dutchie Pay account. The initial setup was pretty easy for the 20 people working with it. I appreciate how it saves time by preventing errors, making it efficient and user-friendly.

The system automatically picks debit when debit is used, and if the card reader is not used, it defaults to cash. This can prevent making mistakes with the tender option and avoid draw discrepancies.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

After using other software, I appreciate that Dutchie integrates with the Massachusetts gateway for reporting. That's a lot less work and more accurate. Our Rep, Iris is always responsive, kind and knowledgeable about any questions we have. Any interruptions are always resolved quickly.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

Because we have multiple stores that have both a medical and recreational license the reporting can be clunky. There are reports that take a little longer because I have to export and then manipulate the information from there. But it is doable. I can also reach out and ask questions.

**What problems is Dutchie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dutchie is currently working with us to integrate our loyalty program so it will be more of a seamless experience for both the customer and the retail associate.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

I like how easy Dutchie is to use, and their customer service is spectacular. The implementation process went flawlessly, and I haven't had any issues. It's extremely valuable since I customized the system to my liking, and it's exceptionally compliant. I also appreciate their complete integration with the state tracking system and the cannabis regulatory agency, which ensures there are no issues with my compliance. Their customer service is always there to help, and I was designated an implementation strategist who walked me through everything and helped me customize my administrative system. Dutchie is also integrated with Weedmaps, and everything works well.

I like that Dutchie organizes our inventory and the back office, keeping our websites organized on the administrative side. On the administrator side, I also appreciate the fact that it makes a ding whenever we get online orders, which helps us keep up with them efficiently. I prefer Dutchie over Weave because it's way more helpful and comes with back-office programs that link everything together. The initial setup wasn't too bad, and we liked it way better once we got the hang of it.

When Dutchie updates, there tends to be a lot of errors afterward. I always have to contact Dutchie for some type of reason after a big overnight update.

Inability to do a price change on a single item at Point of Sale. other POS systems i've used have this feature and it is incredibly frustrating to not be able to do this on the POS in order to make something right with a customer or discount something quickly

I like the different lanes I can drag customers or like 'suspended sales' for later. Also useful for getting a budtenders order from sitting in the main queue all shift.

The way we check users in with ID generates a profile for them with their full legal name, while if they preorder they often will use shortened names or otherwise run into multiple accounts with multiple points streams for the same user depending on if they pre-ordered or not. We need the software to accommodate for the potential of this

I liked using Dutchie as a POS sales system because it was somewhat easy to track sales and products. It allowed me to check available inventory all from the POS system. It also tracked sales and customer history, and offered automatic discounts. The initial setup involved a bit of trial and error, but I got the hang of it pretty quick, so overall it was pretty easy.

Another issue I see a lot is many of the discounts are not automatic and have to be manually input.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

I like Dutchie for its ease of use and ease of training for my employees; it's a very intuitive software. I also appreciate that it's extremely easy to set up, and the onboarding staff were excellent, getting me up and running quickly. Even for someone with limited technical skills, it's pretty easy software to use. Additionally, being in the Dutchie environment for both cultivation and retail makes operations a lot smoother when doing internal transfers. It also integrates with my state's tracking system for my retail environment, which is a helpful feature.

I don't really have any dislikes everything is fantastic

Dutchie handles my inventory maintenance, state compliance, and tracking of sales, making operations smoother and more efficient.

I really enjoy Dutchie because it's easy to use and offers a lot of backend reporting. There's a lot of reports you can run. I like that you can search reports by typing in a keyword, making it simpler to pull up different ones. It's helpful for processing customers efficiently, and the initial setup was pretty simple.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

Sometimes the discount codes or discounts don't work. Just in random, not really sure why. It never explains why, and then we'll ring in the next person, it will work. So just sometimes we have issues there.

I use Dutchie for inventory and sales reports. It simplifies getting customers in and out and provides an easy report search feature.

I like that Dutchie talks to metrc about product and limits.  It is easy to use and has good tech support when you run into issues.  Dutchie performs well above some other products I have used in the past.

Dutchie could work on making sales stack better.

I think the sidebar can be helpful. It is somewhat user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

I find Dutchie lacking and limiting in many ways, especially with Dutchie Explore (Google Looker). It has repeatedly failed to send scheduled reports, so I have to manually pull and compile the reports on my own SQL server. The backend needs improvement, as the API key I requested has limitations, and I haven't heard back from the engineering department about it. The initial setup was very heavy and time-consuming, with errors that required me to spend a lot of time cleaning data.

I use Dutchie to pull reports, but it often fails to send scheduled ones, so I compile them on my SQL server. It's limiting for my needs, and the API has restrictions.

I like that Dutchie is simple and reliable for running our cannabis dispensary. I find the POS system helpful because it efficiently gets customers in and out quickly. The text and email blasts are great for reaching customers with our latest deals and promos. I also appreciate the support from the people who work there; they are a great help.

more filters for catalog or inventory. better ways to get pictures on products

I use Dutchie for POS and inventory, and marketing campaigns. It helps us reach customers with deals and promos, and the POS system gets customers in and out fast.

**What do you like best about Dutchie?**

I love the versatility and depth of Dutchie the most. It sometimes feels like there are 2-3 ways to get the same thing done, depending on how you learn, operate, or organize. I love the user interface. It feels clean and easy to navigate. There are 100s of features, yet, I feel like Dutchie narrows your options in certain areas to allow you to better focus on operations pertaining to your store/grow. I have been in the cannabis industry since 2017 and have used several different platforms and Dutchie is far and away the best.

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

Certain features can be buggy at times and the information from Support is sometimes incorrect. I have received information from Support that was flat out wrong in certain instances. When building discounts sometimes the logic is wrong and Support would say that the Duration of the Discount is the indicator for when competing discounts take precedence, which is incorrect. 

The Support is definitely a spot of weakness for Dutchie. 
Thankfully we have a great CSM that is very quick to respond, Alexandria Guilfoyle. She helps me assess issues that are solvable and issues that need a Support ticket. She is always very cheerful and helpful and very responsive. Alex is the best!

**What problems is Dutchie solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They help us bring a clean and smooth cannabis experience to the customer through ease of use for the POS and the connection to the E-Com Menu. 
They are super helpful in certain regards of setup, state to state, per the dynamic nature of cannabis compliance.

I love that the new integrations work so well. The time it takes for things to update on Ecomm is lightening fast now! The support is a lot better than it use to be, we find ourselves fixing issues quicker and quicker these days!

**What do you dislike about Dutchie?**

It still has it's quirks. There are times where you will complete an entire audit but it hasn't connected that you have even selected that the product was fine.

It helps move the customers a lot quicker through the line. Things are much more streamlined and they allow an even customer flow through the shops.

Dutchie POS has the best (most accurate) metrc integration. The reporting is also by far the most advanced. I like the loyalty and marketing features and the compliance tools. Dutchie pay by bank is also popular among my customers because there are not many cashless payment methods available

There are a ton of reports and Dutchie in general has a lot of settings so it takes awhile to learn the software and figure out what reports do what

Customer service always answers the phone.  No leaving VM or being forced to use chat.  They have wonderful customer service.  Ease of use of system - makes sense - is intuitive.  Used others - and they aren't.

4/20 issues - overloaded servers, fixed post 4/20.  Hopefully ready for next year.  Others didn't have issues because not the same load.  Not apples to apples comparison.

Dutchie is easy to navigate and has lots of preloaded report templates that are useful among many different departments, which has been very helpful. Also integrates with our accounting software seamlessly

The billing/customer service department still seems a bit overwhelmed (takes some time to get issues/concerns resolved), but I think this is due to the sheer number of requests they must receive on a daily basis.

Dutchie is the one stop shop for cannabis POS solutions and offer a variety of solutions for customer payments. The consolidation of reporting and the ability to pull reports regarding certain criteria is very important for AP management, and Dutchie is stellar in regards to that.

Too many options to encompass all the states it operates in - lots of features need to be disabled or taught not to be used in order to remain in compliance.
