You can literally build a whole website in just minutes. I used to be a die-hard WordPress fan, but I haven't worked on a single WordPress site since finding Duda. It's perfect for those who don't know a thing about web design and development, but it's not too scaled-down for the more technical and advanced. **What do you dislike about Duda?** The only real issue I've had with Duda is their site search feature. It doesn't always show the site when I conduct a search. Beyond that, I've really haven't had any issues that Duda was unable to resolve for me. There are moments when Duda can be buggy and there are some feature changes that could be nice, but Duda is constantly evolving the platform. **What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?** No coding is needed to build a beautiful, functional site. The sites are also technically strong from an SEO perspective which saves a lot of hassle and headaches. ### 3. They are a reliable company with a common sense of improvement and a focus on stability. In the 7 years that I have been using this platform, I have not only increased my sales and client base but I have also had great nights of sleep compared to when I used Wordpress. I don't have to worry about outdated plugins, hacks, updating servers and components, or errors when updating Wordpress or plugins. Anyway, there are a lot of good things to say about Duda but it would be better if you start a free trial and find out for yourself. **What do you dislike about Duda?** 1- Perhaps the lack of urgency with simple things to make website editing a faster experience. 2- They'll launch a native e-commerce solution soon but as of today, you will not be able to control e-commerce requests because currently, they rely on third-party e-commerce solutions. 3- They can improve the platform experience by integrating a built-in email marketing solution 4- The contact forms can be improved with conditional logic 5- I would love to see Duda allowing sub-domain management using the same site subscription. Currently, we need to purchase a separate subscription for sub-domains. 6- A built-in project management integration isn't available. Will be good to have it so clients can see their design process. **Recommendations to others considering Duda:** Just try it and request to join our community of experts. Always think about how you can escalate and grow your business without wasting time doing hard time-consuming tasks. Urgent changes can be fixed by clients and they didn't need to wait for me. Server setup and standard websites configurations is a time-consuming task, Duda allows me to build fast sites Clients can see a preview of their design without the need for site publication Statistics: Duda provides a good stats design and I didn't need to spend time generating Google Analytics reports Backups: You can go back to another site version in a few seconds. I would love to have a way to edit on a large screen desktop (1400px or more), right now you don't have that option on general Duda editor, and even when it's on Duda Flex you cannot edit it independently. For example, I really wish I could archive/unpublish a page for implementation on the later version of the site, without having to restore the entire version of a backup. Ideally, there should be a section to create page drafts, and by unpublishing a page, it gets moved to drafts. **What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?** Duda's client management is exceptional compared to other website platforms. As an agency working mostly with small local businesses, we were looking for a quality alternative to Wordpress and Joomla! for our clients. With Duda, we found the perfect tool! So far, we have been able to develop and implement all features required by our clients along with a much simpler way to implement technical SEO. Their SSL execution is simple and fast, too. DUDA site are also very, very fast!!! Duda’s custom code is easy to implement when required as well. In particular, we had a project where the iframe was the only option – until one our interns tried using Jquery in some of these pages. Here are two examples: https://www.milfordchamber.org/business-directory and https://www.milfordchamber.org/networking-events. If you are looking for integration of Chamber Master with Duda, it works quite well! The store integration feature is very simple yet robust. I actually just added a page for selling gift certificates for a massage therapy local business, and it took only a few minutes! I love that that Duda uses the Ecwid platform. In fact, Ecwid actually offered to help with one of my Duda projects personally. To say that the customer support has been excellent is definitely an understatement! The Local Listings feature is also extremely helpful, and is a big plus for my local clients. I’ve also found this to be a lot less expensive than Yext. We are really excited about this new app. Finally, the localization feature is hands-down what we love the most! Being able to show a different popup based on new vs. returning customers, time since last visit, and their location is a huge asset. **What do you dislike about Duda?** The headings and text are not in the same widget. Not a big deal, but it would be nice. **What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?** Duda saves time, since there is no server maintenance, plugins or extension updates. Technical SEO is easy to implement, redirects included, site are very fast! No need to buy apps or plugin. SSL is part of the package, so there is no extra cost. Clients love the DUDA editor. Is is extremely easy to use! We get great feedback often. Since personalization and email integration is included, this saves time and money! They've also created content collection forms that can be easily sent to clients to improve the speed of information sharing, allowing clients to upload photos and other content rather than emailing it, downloading attachments, uploading them to the server, etc. You'll never have to deal with image quality reduction from receiving texted photos again! **What do you dislike about Duda?** Price is variable and inconsistent. There have been several pricing changes over the past 3 years that make it very challenging for a reseller to model their business with Duda as the platform. We have had to modify our pricing with each Duda pricing update, in order to remain profitable. This causes friction between us and our clients (many of whom are scaling themselves and adding new licenses with us all the time) and is not a great experience at all. We operate our business on a very thin margin. At the same time, Duda remains one of the most cost-effective platforms in the space - just be prepared for frequent pricing fluctuations. **Recommendations to others considering Duda:** As a reseller of Duda's CMS, be 100% certain to formulate your pricing strategy to allow for price increases of 25-50% in subsequent renewals and for new site licenses. We initially signed up for a plan that gave us 8 website licenses for $888/year or thereabouts, and additional sites were just $99/year or $11/month. The plan we bought no longer exists, now they charge in the ballpark of $1000/year for 6 website licenses and $140/year for additional. Just beware. **What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?** Duda allowed a 3rd party referral partner of mine to scale up their website business to support dozens of clients quickly during the Covid-19 craze in Q2 2020. I support independent restaurants and their e-commerce needs. Pre-2020, many restaurants simply did not have their own websites or e-commerce tools that they owned (many used 3rd party marketplaces to sell food, but the cost became prohibitive in 2020). Duda made affordable websites for our clients a reality virtually overnight. ### 23. Every part of the system looks too old when I comparing to other White Label editors. All the websites made with Duda look basically the same. All the animations are bad, and the button builder still does not use CSS3's new features. Flex editor is not user-friendly and not detailed like Webflow or EditorX. All the widgets just help users with basic things, non of them is detailed or not updated. There are big issues about vertically aligning elements, you can't align elements without custom CSS. Duda is great, but it needs to be updated with CSS3 and HTML5 features. In this situation, it feels like too old a service. And the last thing, the multi-language feature does not work well. You can't use the personalization feature with multi-language websites. This means you can't add a pop-up to secondary language with the Duda pop-up builder. **Recommendations to others considering Duda:** Duda is really great but it's not getting great updates. They're adding some features but all of them are just meh. They really need to update & modernize their UI and develop built-in widgets. **What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?** As I mentioned earlier, it's best of the best if we talk about SEO, Core Web Vitals, and Local Business features. I have recently decided to add an eCommerce store to my website primarily because of the value and because Duda does not charge an additional commission fee like many other sites do. Today, I requested a call back for an eCommerce store billing issue and spoke to Paola who was knowledgeable, pleasant and patient. She was able to resolve my issue and another totally separate issue which saved me hours of time. I was super impressed by her quick and efficient service as well as her willingness to help! Duda's promotions, eCommerce store and support team are the best! **What do you dislike about Duda?** I have experienced some difficulty correcting errors when I am editing my websites. I am not always able to return to the original edit when using their "undo" button. Also, it would also be nice if Duda had more integrations/apps for scheduling appointments. I had to purchase a subscription with VCita in order for my clients to be able to schedule and pay for appointments online.
