  ### 1. How a professional Web Developer feels about Duda

**What do you like best about Duda?**

Quick to make basic changes to websites. Automatic image and video optimization is nice to have. Customer support is usually good, but to my understanding I have more support options due to using their enterprise plan.

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

I use duda for over 80 websites. The UI is extremely frustrating. No CSS classes or equivalent so you cant make changes to multiple UI elements at the same time. No ability to reuse code. Copy and paste doesnt often work as expected. Websites are not responsive which creates big challenges for tablet UI. No SSL on testing links. Dashboard search feature is very slow.

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duda allows us to quickly build websites for customer using a no code GUI.

**What do you like best about Duda?**

White Label capabilities and ease of use for myself, my team, or my clients.

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

They stopped caring about small agencies and only started caring about those agencies spending thousands a month with them. Seems like their investors are calling the shots now, and the Duda we signed up for has taken a back seat.

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ROI for web design is much higher now because we can charge less and build sites faster which lets us build more websites than we would be able to using WordPress.

  ### 3. Duda is the MSPaint of web platforms- FRUSTRATING!

**What do you like best about Duda?**

It is a simple turnkey solution that lacks constant maintenance

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

Duda is for simple business card websites only. There is no scalability, no dynamic functions, lack of support. Plus they hobble the few easy tools they Whitelabel making the platform weak and ineffective. The white-labeling available for agencies isn't worth the hamstringing you must endure being on the platform. Also, the blogging platform is almost useless. Often I will use a blog as a way to easily catalog information in sites. There will be none of that in duda. It is the MSPaint of website builders.

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Duda created more problems than it promised to solve. Honestly, I feel duped into buying into the platform. Plus, support takes 3 days to respond.

**What do you like best about Duda?**

It's easy to create pages and they have a good UX

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

They have a lot of bugs if you customize even a little bit. 
They make your life hard if you try to leave (hard to export, import, and cancel the account). 
They need to improve a lot for SEO. It's impossible to fix the technical SEO aspect.

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a user-friendly builder that doesn't hurt my SEO.

  ### 5. Mediocre mobile site at best

**What do you like best about Duda?**

Simple to use, and somewhat intuitive. It's easy to manage the buttons, add pages and edit pages. 

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

Apparently, once your desktop site is over a certain number of pages dudamobile just stops working. We were still paying the same monthly fee, but the features of dudamobile suddenly stopped working. We essentially had to start syncing the site on the weekly, and we noticed things weren't being picked up on the mobile site. Most of the time we're manually editing dudamobile because the syncability was gone. The support side of dudamobile was no help, they did not even try to fix the problem but kept trying to up sell us. I would have preferred to delete older pages from the mobile site, but they would not help with that instead push me towards buying support/different mobile site plan. 

**Recommendations to others considering Duda:**

Definitely not recommended for sites with a lot of data, or pages. Might be useful for smaller sites or blogs even. Not beneficial for corporate sites, or sites with a lot of content. 

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a mobile site to better our google SEO as our classic site was not doing this. Also, our classic site is not optimized for mobile so we decided to go with dudamobile. However, we ended up reverting back to our classic site because it not only looked way better than dudamobile, it was more efficient to use our classic site. So no benefits were truly seen, apart from it helping out SEO for the first little bit.

I liked how quickly and easily you are able to get a mobile friendly website up and running.

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

The restrictions, the quality, look and layout of the end result just doesn't fit with where web standards are today.

**Recommendations to others considering Duda:**

I would use this if you really only need a simple and basic website to display limited and basic information. 

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you need a mobile site up fast and just need to share info like hours, a menu, address, contact info, etc, then sure, its fine. 

  ### 7. Unnecessary expense

**What do you like best about Duda?**

Nothing really. The user interface is simple enough as long as you can embed code, and it's quick to install, but it's a little archaic at this point. Good for already archaic websites that aren't mobile. 

**What do you dislike about Duda?**

It's useless if you have a responsive mobile site. It's just too much money for the service, unless it is impossible to make your site mobile, but any good site nowadays should have that capability or risk using obsolete code in the future as browsers evolve. 

However it doesn't reflect website changes well, so it's double the work content-wise. 

**Recommendations to others considering Duda:**

Talk to a web dev first

**What problems is Duda solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None. I realized it was an unnecessary cost established by our previous marketing manager who knew nothing about website management.
