Dubb: Sales Video System + CRM Reviews & Product Details

Dubb is an incredible tool. I purchased it a few years ago as an LTD from appsumo, and it didn't have many functions besides the core premise of generating videos for cold emails. It did that well and provided accurate analytics and tracking. Over the years, they have expanded to include dozens of features, including cal integrations, pixel tracking, CRM hookups, call tracking, its own sales opportunity system, and more. It's rare to see a tool expand it's functionality so far outside what was initially promised, and as an early user, it's appreciated. I honestly don't have anything I can complain about, it's built the same level of features as other video sales tools, supports GIF previews and all the things that are important to me. I was an early user so I got a lifetime price as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Personally, I like the workflow ability the best, however do not let that take away from the other features available. With multiple CTA options, design customization, and campaign-style work-flows you'll be hard pressed to find anything better in this service space.

For companies in the real estate space this is a fantastic tool if your current technology does not offer these services or the services they do offer do not properly engage with your clients..

However any company that is trying to increase lead/prospect engagement through direct non-verbal communication can find high value in a service such as this.

I would also suggest setting up a digital online contact card/page (HiHello as example)... I have my calendar on the video CTA's but also a link to my online contact card which also profile additional resources a prospective client can engage with for a higher conversion rate.

If you have a page on your site with high value information great for converting leads, the ability to embed your site into the CTA area is also a nice plus... So if you have a particular product you are offering, you could directly imbed the page to that product right below the video you posted and allow someone to buy it right from the same screen as your video...this could be a great way to minimize conversion time and maximize impulse buying activity. A little disappointed that I could have both the calendar and embedded site both on the same video hosted page, but nothing that can't be addressed with a properly placed link. You will have to setup communications account with one of their selected providers in order to utilize the sms feature, so be prepared to set up more than just a dubb account.

They do have a lot of videos explaining account setup, which comes in handy, but be prepared as setup is not a 5 minute activity (if you are looking to fully utilize all the capapbilities Dubb has to offer. It is worth it in the long run as you can basically setup a "set and forget" nurturing system.

You will also need to dedicate some time to removing about 20+ videos they preload into your library... they are great for watching but you wont use them personally...

While there is a time requirement in order to fully utilize all the features the system has to offer, it is my personal and professional opinion that the payoff is worth it. I would however, (if your implementing this solution throughout an organization) suggest contacting Dubb and requesting that they copy and distribute your created campaign(s) across all users withing your account(s) depending on how you set everything up, so as to create uniformity across outgoing company messaging from various users. What attracted me to DUBB back in 2020 was the ease at which I could record a video on the fly and send through text, email, social media, whatever you wanted. What really made it top notch was the great tools for marketing that had available to help you make the sale like Email companions and video analytics.

It blew my mind that I could see that the Guest I sent the video to only watched the first 30% of the video. DUBB definitely helped me close more than a few sales and even helped me improve my techniques along the way.

They have an awesome app that is a great companion to the Desktop or website with seemless synchronization and tons of integrations to work with a large variety of CRMs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish the price tag was a little less because the paid version is ofcourse way better than the free.

I recommend filming the videos using your phones native camera app if doing mobile shoots. There was an issue with the uploading of the finished video through the app.

Let me tell ya there is nothing more frustrating then getting that perfect shoot where you were just really feeling it just for the video to be uploading in the app and it gets a connection error and poof! Perfect scene deleted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the ease to create a video with a couple of clicks or uploading videos from another source.

You can create different styles and just apply them to the selected video.

You can upload videos directly to Youtube.

I would like to see more options for video editing, now basically you can only trim.

You can not just hide and show the camera screen without stopping the video.

I have lots of videos I've created and it's super easy to upload them and get captions for them in Dubb! The UI is easy to navigate even for a first-time user. I'm a solo shop so there is a lot to learn, and I feel like I've only scratched the surface of what Dubb can do. The help files are helpful and the videos of the steps use Dubb so it familiarizes me with what's possible while I learn the steps for answering my question. The implementation directions are clear. Once I feel I've learned more about the system I can see that being able to record inside Dubb will remove a couple of steps in the process I'm moving away from.

I'm excited about how Dubb will eliminate several steps from my old process. the need to manually create videos, then download and upload them to different locations. After getting used to Dubb, this isn't a serious dislike anymore, I just had to learn a new process. (My old process was to upload to an app to edit, download, then reupload to the location I want the video. Pretty tedious.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that was frustrating to me at first, was not being able to download my video with captions for use outside of Dubb. Then, I explored the ways to use Dubb's embed code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before using dub, I used Loom occasionally when I would reach out to you prospects or candidates (I'm a digital marketer as well as a recruiter). While it was useful, it was limited and it was never branded for my business. With that said, I first picked up Dubb soon after they launched, and I was able to create amazing looking landing pages, and send videos via LinkedIn messenger as well as email to my prospects. Best part, all branded to me and looking super-slick and professional.

That's number one, but I also really love the customer service. Around the summer of 2020 we wanted to have the video link preview operate like a GIF in the LinkedIn inbox. A friend of mine (who started using Dubb based on my recommendation), contacted their support to ask if they could do it, and within a week it was done. So now, 2 years later, you can send a Dubb video url through LinkedIn, and it will automatically GIF it. That little change greatly increased our click rate, but the best part is…they actually responded to our request and immediately made the update. I was really impressed how much they listen to their customers, and how fast they implement. It's really rare to see a company that responsive to their user base, that's yet another reason why I will be a Dubb customer for life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dubb is easy to use and integrates with the solutions that matter. Need to share your screen anonymously, Dubb does that. Want to appear in a bubble on the screen, Dubb does that. Want to flip between a personal view of your self and swap back to a shared screen, Dubb does that. From Calls to Action, analytics tracking to an easy to use Gmail integration, and Chrome browser Extension, Dubb has it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Because of the cache clearing in my Chrome browser, I have to select to "always allow" my mic and camera when using the Chrome extension, but it's easy and for those that aren't using Chrome, there is a windows Desktop app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cold e-mail outreach can be effective but most people send very boring emails. Using Dubb I can send a video and I love making the video open with me waving. When the person opens the e-mail or when they view the e-mail in the preview box they see a picture of me waving. This gives me high open rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The chrome extension can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes I end up uploading a video from a zoom session into my Dubb email campaign. I think the landing pages are a bit elementary looking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest pros of Dubb are a very easy-to-use User Interface, a great mobile app, and good video customizations (formats: vertical, horizontal, square, different resolutions etc.).

They've got also lots of other features that I'm yet to test thoroughly, like:

direct Messaging with your video prospects,

creating Tasks lists,

managing prospect flow using the Assets feature,

possibility of sending email and SMS outreach campaigns,

creating automation,

When I was starting using Dubb I felt a bit overwhelmed with the number of features that were available inside the platform. But I got a lot of help by going through their Resources section, especially Academy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Dubb is the easy way to market one of the biggest ways of marketing today letting people see who you are feeling that vibration. Dubb allows you to use multi channel capabilities to get your customers to a call to action or being able to share my videos on different platforms and then creative while doing it with my customers . I can't really say that I have anything that I dislike about the pricing is not bad at all and the customer service is really good so I really don't have anything negative to say about them at this time as maybe when I become a more involved user maybe I'll see some dislikes but currently I have nothing bad to say.
