I'm sure DSS is greater than I know but the training is lacking **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** James M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2018 **What do you like best about DSS?** Disclosure: I have never before used a CRM so my experience may not be as valuable for comparison purposes as others who have. In fact, my requirements for a client database perhaps aren't nearly as extensive as those of other firms--in fact, I've long utilized a simple FileMaker database for my practice. That said, DSS seems a rather expensive ($750 per month) license required to keep my contract with my website developer. The early training I received on the system was, in my opinion, negligible. In fact, it's mostly by looking around the system on my own that I've been able to learn some of its possibilities. Now, in a world where my time was endless, this would be fine, I suppose, but it seems a rather poor way to learn while also trying to run a law practice. **What do you dislike about DSS?** See above--the training on DSS is terrible and it's, in my opinion, wildly expensive. As noted above, perhaps other systems are more as I have never used one--but from what my friends who use other systems tell me, DSS is more considerably more expensive. **Recommendations to others considering DSS:** Really recommend comparing the cost of similar services. Once you're locked in, it seems tough to get out. **What problems is DSS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping track of my website content has been most helpful. **Official Response from Zach Stone:** > Hi Jim, We really appreciate the honest feedback. There are not very many obvious cues to help you navigate. **What problems is DSS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating and sustaining customer/client leads. Intake for law firm **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2017 **What do you like best about DSS?** DSS allows us to receive data from potential clients and lets us review the information before deciding if they could be a possible client. **What do you dislike about DSS?** Unfortunately we do get requests that are not relevant to what we do. **Recommendations to others considering DSS:** I'm not aware of the cost so I am not able to make a recommendation **What problems is DSS solving and how is that benefiting you?** None that I am aware of, our Marketing person would know more. **Official Response from Zach Stone:** > Thanks for your feedback! We'd love to help you improve your lead quality. There will always be some leads that come to you that don't quite match what you're looking for. However, if you are getting more irrelevant leads than relevant ones we can help you improve. It could be your firm is categorized incorrectly on external sites like Avvo or Yelp. It could also be content on your website that talks about something that you all do not do. There are a lot more other potential reasons for you receiving irrelevant leads, but those are the 2 most likely reasons.
