Setting up data backup for our GSuite services was straightforward, and it has continued to function reliably ever since. Whenever we've needed to restore data, the process has been quick and trouble-free. So far, I haven't encountered a single instance where an employee lost data in GSuite and we couldn't recover it. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** I don't have many negatives to mention about the platform right now. It's straightforward to use. I first started using Druva as an on-premise backup solution over 10 years ago, then graduated to Cloud based -offsite backup. As my network infrastructure changed from PHYSICAL to VIRTUAL, Druva changed and added VMWare backup. in the last year I have added my Azure Cloud Based Network too. Most recently I added 0365, OneDrive and Endpoint protection along with RANSONWare Recovery feature. Now when I log into the Druva website, my dashboard presents me with a centralized portal for all my backup data and security needs. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** The worse thing I can say is that they keep improving and moving around the dashboard layout to make room for even more options and features When I do not login for awhile, it takes a minute to figure out how to navigate to the area I want to access. Thank god the changes are always improvements and there is more than one way to get to the same area. When we setup Druva for O365 it was a quick 1 hour on boarding process and everything has worked great since. I literally just restored some deleted data from a Sharepoint site where my users was super nervous about it. The ease of doing the restore and then the speed of performing the actual restore was awesome. It's so nice to have that sense of security that Druva is there to save the day. They also do a great job of making the setup easy and once it's setup you just forget about it until you need to restore data. It's great. I've never had an instance where the data Druva backed up is corrupt or missing. When there are any issues with a backup, their support is fantastic. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** Permissions within the console for non-IT users. We would like to give managers access to employee backups (employees they managed not everyone in the company) to retrieve emails from a historical perspective. And also allow users to access their own backups to be able to restore anything they may have deleted. Currently Druva only allows full admin rights essentially. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Druva allows us to backup and secure our entire 0365 and Entra ID environment. It keeps our data secure with immutability and makes all the data readily available. There is a robust admin web management portal that offers a fairly granular user privilege setup and the ability to add different regions in backup. Druva doesn't require a lot of bandwidth or additional resources for either backups or restores. Users can independently recover their data. We are able to back the files up both individually and at a group level. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** Biggest con, in this day and age, is that it would be great to have an admin smartphone application. More details when the backup is running would be nice as well as more customizable reports. Also, some cosmetic bugs related to the UX, but nothing huge. **What problems is Druva Data Security Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We implemented Druva Data Resiliency Cloud to back up our Endpoints, Servers and VMs. As most end users do, ours keep deleting stuff on accident so Druva helps with that, along with keeping archives. Before Druva we were doing physical backups of our in house servers and trusting our hosts to do the same for anything virtual. Druva has exponentially improved the quality and speed of our backups, as well as the breadth of what we are backing up ourselves. Druva have a strong focus on security, with tools to monitor backups for suspicious activity, and to help recover clean backups after a ransomware attack. Druva customer service is excellent, with chat functionality within the app. **What do you dislike about Druva Data Security Cloud?** The licensing reports are unclear, and there is some inconsistency in the licence usage across various reports. There is some evidence that the reports are being modernised, so hopefully Druva will address this soon. Sensitive Data Governance could be given an results export function and better ability to sort or filter results.
