"Quick and easy to edit and manage webpages"
What do you like best about Drupal?

It's easy to learn how to use Drupal if someone doesn't have a lot of website-building experience. There are a lot of options for page templates which can be used used for different purposes. Making edits on web pages is also quick and straightforward. If I'm working on a page, I can save it as a draft before publishing, and I can also quickly access the list of all the pages that I've created/edited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

There's a limit to what can be done on Drupal. The interface is not the most user friendly and can take some time to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy CMS for Large Orgs"
What do you like best about Drupal?

The ease with which you can use Drupal. Though there is absolutely a learning curve, as with everything, Drupal organizes things in a way that make it clear to the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

For larger orgs, customization is always needed and therefore a web agency is needed to ensure that what the client needs can be built out in an intuitive and easy manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Simple Web Service"
What do you like best about Drupal?

Once you learn the basics of Drupal, you can quickly enhance your skillset. Plus, if you're unsure of changes/work you're doing, you can save as a draft and allow others to approve and push pages live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

The blocks section used to be very confusing, but fortunately they've made major updates to enhance usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and Secure Open-Source Platform"
What do you like best about Drupal?

I love that Drupal is an open-source platform. It's great for creating large, complex websites (or simple websites too). Great community support, and powerful and secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

It can be overwhelming and challenging at first, but if you stick with it, you'll soon realize the many benefits of this product! Because Drupal is so advanced, there are components to the CMS that your average developer may not have previous experience in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Open Source Platform"
What do you like best about Drupal?

I love how powerful Drupal is and the vision that is in place for scaling the platform to meet the emerging needs of users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

It is somewhat complicated. If it were made to be a little more user-friendly, it may attract more companies to adopt it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Drupal is your go to CMS for complex portals and websites"
What do you like best about Drupal?

Drupal is more than just a CMS. It is a true content management platform (emphasis on platform). To me, the difference with Drupal is its ability to manipulate the content and have dynamic content which is different than just a CMS. That is, It is more than just a system to render the data onto a webpage with stylesheets, but a complete platform that allows a developer to manupulate data dynamically and render it dynamically on a webpage. Many people will compare Wordpress with Drupal. To be fair, they both do 80% of the same thing, but the 20% is what makes the difference. Drupal allows a developer to control data input and output at a level that Wordpress does not. It is a lot like the difference between iOS (Apple Phone) and Android phone. They both allow to make calls but how that call is completed is different to a developer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

The fact that you can do so much in Drupal is also its downfault. To a non-developer, it is extremely difficult to use. There is a steep learning curve, and it is not very accessible (i.e. user-friendly) to most people. Given this issue though, a developer can make it more user-friendly so that anyone can author in the system. In fact, a Drupal developer can enable such things as a Gutenberg module, which is the same editor in WordPress; thus making authoring accessible to non-developers. However, you will need a developer to enable Gutenberg in the beginning which makes Drupal more challenging to use for the average user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for technical capabilities but poor for user experience"
What do you like best about Drupal?

Drupal has lots of functionality and you can do pretty much anything you can dream of - once you have developers at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

The UX and UI of Drupal is difficult to navigate and feels like software from a decade ago. There are way better options in the marketplace Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Druapl review"
What do you like best about Drupal?

Drupal is very extensible, if you can think of it there is a way to make it happen with Drupal. The documentation is very thorough and understandable. Another one of its strengths is the community. There are several large events that happen every year and small groups that meet in almost all cities in America. The community is very open and willing to help everyone, no matter their level of experience.

A huge benefit to using Drupal is there is probably a module for 90% of what you would need for a project. The last 10% percent of the project is custom to the specific project and would have to created no matter what system you are using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Drupal?

The major versions of Drupal take a long time to be developed and released. The upgrade path from an older major version is not easy sometimes. Drupal depends on a lot of community-built modules to accomplish some basic tasks, and those modules can become stale and not maintained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
