Drupal is a great open-source CMS Built using PHP. I found that this is comparatively easy to learn than other CMS platforms. the content structure of this Platform is very simple. features like Taxonomy make it easier to create and keep track of content. Making modifications to the code is also easy and using Drupal's built-in classes and functions I can extend its functionality very easily. When using any third-party module if I need to make any modification to the module's functionality I have to spend a lot of time for research. Our company loves the levels of options for our website. Pretty much everything is custom built and gives a larges number of web options for exactly the tools we need to exist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Drupal? With anything that's very customizable, there come several drawbacks. First of all, it's expensive and time-consuming to create a site from scratch. You also have to trust your developers since there have been issues of not knowing all of our choices (or choices being made in the design process we would have done differently). Recommendations to others considering Drupal: If you have the budget, a good web team, and need a highly customized site, Drupal is your best option. However, most organizations would probably prefer just applying a tested template if they care less about custom options. There's a higher learning curve than with say a Wordpress or even Joomla.
