While industry incumbents are mired in folder-based architecture, email attachments, FTP, or ad-hoc hacks, Droplr is changing the industry though its simple, secure platform: in one single step Droplr converts any file into a URL that can be sent via any communication platform. Droplr is focused on being deeply integrated into the tools that creative teams use. Graphic designers, UI/UX designers, developers, consultants, and others all run into walls. Some of these walls are: 1) File formats and compatibility across devices 2) Remote teams 3) Collaboration and Feedback is out of context 4) there is a lack of workflow integration 5) the file transfer process for visual assets is slow and clumsy. Unlike various encryption and communication products, I can share information with anyone I want, regardless of whether or not they already have Droplr. Bottom line, if I need to send a file internally or externally, I know that with Droplr it can be done quickly and painlessly, without any worries of anyone being able to access our communications. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** I don't have any major dislikes and if I did I would probably just look for another solution. Like any application I use, I have opinions on added features but in the way I use Droplr it works great. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** Take the time to read about all the features. I didn't realize exactly how much I could do until I read further into the application. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** My main use as for sharing files quickly with other members of my team and our external clients. Recently I have used the screen capture for demo videos of our product as well. The biggest benefit I have noticed is that it's extremely secure yet didn't require some massive implementation from our IT guys or additions to current services. ### 2. It is very easy to drag, drop, and copy. I love that it takes me just a few seconds to grab a link. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** It would be nice if the default setting were to keep an image. A few colleagues and I have been sorely disappointed to have images disappear because we either didn't know that they self-destructed or we forgot to keep a particular image. Additionally, it would be nice to be able to obtain a direct link from the web app since not everyone wants to download an extension. **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** I primarily use Droplr to discuss projects with coworkers and to upload images to a particular part of our product. I wouldn't change a thing about it. **Recommendations to others considering Droplr:** If you like sharing things for personal and business reasons this is the product for you **What problems is Droplr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sharing screenshots over email is always a hassle, and doing it with droplr links that don't expire makes it a breeze. the ability to annotate through droplr is awesome too, streamlining the process; you'd otherwise have to save the image, go to it, open it in preview on a Mac, then save, then do whatever you need to do to share. all those steps are removed by droplr and it makes it all a very smooth and quick process ### 5. The product has been declining over time. What I mean is that once I involve more than one file, it automatically becomes lost in a compressed file automatically. Often times, you're looking a page with 100+ character URL and you tap the shortcut keys and bam, beautiful short URL copied to your clipboard! **What do you dislike about Droplr?** This is definitely something droplr can improve, since its early days, Droplr had a lot of "extensions" or the ability to work with other apps. The draw tool is useful for quick edits and pointing out items in screenshots. Having apps for multiple platforms is also very useful for quick access from anywhere. **What do you dislike about Droplr?** The client apps could use a little bit of polishing--the Windows client has been progressing well, but is still slightly behind the macOS one.
