File version history and recovery can be confusing to navigate. Improved comparison between versions and bulk version management are needed. Additionally, the initial setup was difficult to understand.

 ### 3. Convenient Storage Solution with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like that Dropbox is very convenient. The storage amount that I pay for helps me clear up the space on my phone, which I really feel helps with the performance. Also, the initial setup of Dropbox was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I would like it if Dropbox prompted me for a folder name as soon as I upload photos or videos. That way, it's a little bit easier to organize.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves my phone storage issue by backing up photos and videos, freeing up space and improving performance.

 ### 4. Dropbox Makes File Sharing Effortless!

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

 ### 5. Secure but Confusing Interface

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vince D. | Full-stack Developer

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like the security aspect of Dropbox, with its mandatory multi-factor authentication, which overall is great for keeping my personal files safe. Dropbox's strong security measures make it extremely hard to access my account without the appropriate credentials. I also find Dropbox's integration with OneDrive and my personal computer very useful. This setup allows me to back up all my local storage to the cloud easily, which is convenient since I frequently switch devices.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The Dropbox user interface is extremely confusing and all over the place. It takes a while to get used to and can be improved. The current Dropbox UI has way too much going on, like the sidebar having too many unnecessary redirects. Uploading a simple file takes way too many steps. Also, I'd give the initial setup a 4 out of 10 due to unnecessary complications.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for cloud storage and backup, and I appreciate its robust security with mandatory multi-factor authentication. It helps me confidently store personal files. Syncing with OneDrive and my computer makes device switching seamless and data transfer very easy.

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

It does exactly what I want it to do: store files and give me options for folders, different file types, etc. I use it every day and it's also easy to use with task management platforms like Monday.com.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes the search functionality doesn't return the results I want, but that can sometimes be the result of lots of files that fit the criteria.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem solved is a ton of files to store and the need to get to them quickly and easily.

 ### 7. Reliable, Seamless File Management & Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use Dropbox for securely storing, syncing, and sharing files across devices and with team members. It’s especially useful for backing up important documents, sharing large files, and collaborating on work by keeping files updated in real time and accessible from anywhere. Dropbox solves the problem of managing and sharing files across multiple devices and with different people, keeping my files automatically synced and backed up. I like its simplicity and reliability, with file syncing working smoothly in the background without conflicts. Version history is great for recovering older files, and sharing files and folders is straightforward with easy-to-manage permissions. Access across devices is fast and consistent, making it dependable for both personal use and collaboration. File syncing automatically updates my files across all my devices, and version history adds an extra layer of safety by allowing recovery of previous versions of files. Sharing features make collaboration easy by letting me quickly share files or folders with controlled permissions, ensuring everyone works on the latest version. I use Dropbox alongside tools like Microsoft Office and Google Docs for document creation and collaboration. It integrates well with project management and communication tools, providing quick access and backups with both desktop and mobile workflows.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

There’s nothing to dislike about Dropbox! Absolutely nothing.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for storing, syncing, and sharing files securely across devices and with my team. It solves file management issues by syncing automatically and backing up, preventing data loss. Sharing large files is easy without email attachments, improving collaboration with real-time updates and quick access from anywhere.

 ### 8. End of Tab Switching by Dropbox Dash

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Currently the best thing which I like is that how the Dropbox Dash makes the Dropbox more smarter. It allows me to do many tasks from one place like allows me to search file or use AI search or message through Slack or using Canva.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Though dropbox dash is a good feature but it still feels like it is in progress or still evolving because there are times where the AI results are bit inconsistent and are not precise.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier my files were scattered across emails, local folders and then I have to use Slack for messages and then Google Drive for a doc but after the Dropbox Dash feature I can easily get everything in one room, no more need to switch between different apps.

 ### 9. Convenient Cloud Access Anytime

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like cloud storage because it keeps my files secure, accessible anytime, and easy to share. It saves device space, improves collaboration, and ensures important data is safely backed up online.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

It doesn’t provide support for large file uploads, which can be limiting when sharing high-resolution videos, software files, or bulk data. This restriction makes it less convenient for handling heavy storage needs.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves the problem of limited file access and manual data sharing by storing files securely in the cloud. It allows easy file sharing through links and syncs data across devices. This benefits me because I can access my files anytime and quickly share them without repeatedly logging in, saving time and improving productivity.

 ### 11. Effortless File Accessibility Across All Devices

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mia W. | Freelance Production Office & Production Management

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I find Dropbox to be the easiest way to keep all my files in one place that's easily accessible from all my devices no matter where I am. It's been around forever, and I've been using it for years, which speaks to its reliability. What I like is that it syncs all of my files in the background, so I just set it up once, and then it starts syncing for me. Dropbox is a well-known name, and it also allows me to share files without sharing files. I can share a link to a file, which is really useful for sharing with clients.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes, when someone shares a link to a folder or adds me to a file, they might use one of my other email addresses, not the main one I use for my Dropbox account. It would be nice to be able to redirect it instantly to the email address I'm looking for.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for easy access to my files across all my devices, no matter where I am. It's reliable and allows me to share files by sending a link. I set it up once, and it syncs all my files in the background.

 ### 12. Easy, Secure File Sharing That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara T. | Marketing and Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I absolutely love how easy it is to use, secure and that it works for most organisations, so sending files is easy. :)

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

There's nothing I particularly dislike about it, it's a great tool!

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many organisations have limits on what platforms they can use, and Dropbox seems to work for the majority.

 ### 13. Dropbox is a time saver!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janei J. | Administrative Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Dropbox is most helpful for storing files conveniently. Lately I’ve been trying to get more organized and having files in a bunch of different folders in a bunch of different places has been overwhelming. Which is why I like using dropbox because it saves me a lot of space on my devices which saves money so I don’t have to keep paying a ton for apple storage on multiple devices every month. But it also makes accessing things so easy. My favorite feature about dropbox is a scanning tool. I personally like handwriting things and I’m able to scan it and it’ll put in a PDF form for me.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I wish dropbox had a free option. Because I don’t use a whole lot of storage in the app. So I think if they had a free option with limited storage, this will be better for users like me. They do offer a 30 day trial. But not a permanent free option.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox is solving the problem of eliminating using a lot of different platforms to store files and items I can store all in one place.

 ### 14. DropBox - From Anywhere, Anytime, with Any Device

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Numan S. | Senior Payroll Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Keeps all your documents, pics and other important items for you as well as allows remote access to such items from anywhere in the world. It is also easy to use as well as implement in your day to ay life. As one gets use to it, you will use it more often.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Initial spaces are limited and more space can become a bit expensive. As for customer support, it is not a smooth transition to get to them.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As stated, it has all of the items I use on a day to day basis in one place and allows be to access it from any device anywhere at anytime.

 ### 15. Seamless Collaboration, Impressive Cross-Platform Performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I really appreciate Dropbox's clean and intuitive interface. It's very easy to manage permissions and generate sharing links with just a right click. I love how the mobile app works, being able to preview large files or even sign PDFs on my phone while I'm away from my desk is a huge plus. The seamless transition from mobile to desktop is great for my workflow. I find the document scanning feature on the mobile app to be a huge time saver. I can scan a physical contract or a sketch on my phone and it's instantly available in my desktop file explorer as a PDF. Dropbox feels much more platform agnostic; it works perfectly whether someone is on Mac or PC. The initial setup was very straightforward, just download the desktop app and login. I really liked that it integrated directly into my computer file explorer.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I think Dropbox is becoming a bit overcomplicated with extra features I don't necessarily need like the password manager or specialized editing tools. Sometimes the interface feels a little noisy with prompts to try new products when I really just want to focus on my files. Finding files in large team folders still feels like a manual chore. The current search relies heavily on exact file names, which is difficult when different team members use different naming conventions. The reason I rate Dropbox a 9 instead of a 10 is the price.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves the accessibility gap, allowing me to give clients 'view-only' access without exposing internal workflows. The document scanning feature on the mobile app is a huge time saver, making files instantly available on desktop as PDFs.

 ### 16. Easy and Versatile with Free Plans, best for personal use.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benoît F. | Specialist, Security Operations Center, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Easy to use, versatile, also supports free plans.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Seems less suitable for professional environments. Sometimes has bad reputation because bad actors leverage the platform to host malicious files.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securely share files with other people and maintain control over who has access, and what type of access.

 ### 17. Simple, Easy File Sharing on Mobile and Desktop

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

We used Dropbox for more than three years, and it worked well on both mobile and desktop. It’s simple and easy to upload files and share links. It pretty much has all the features we use, and the interface makes it easy to get things done.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes we have issues with sync and had few duplicate files, and the plan price is higher, so we ended up switched to other cloud service.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solved for us was having easy access to cloud storage. We work with a lot of files and often end up replacing them, so the constant back-and-forth over email became a big issue. Dropbox helped us move those email attachments into the cloud, which made sharing and updating files much simpler.

 ### 18. Effortless Collaboration and Clean Workflows with Dropbox

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio G. | SQL Server, Power BI, Web, SEO Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

super reliable cloud services
Sharing folders with clients on Dropbox has made my workflow so much cleaner. No more messy email attachments!
Collaboration is so much smoother with shared folders and comments. It feels like teamwork on easy mode

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Dropbox is great, but the free plan feels tiny in 2025… 2 GB disappears in a heartbeat.
Sync can get slow or stuck sometimes, especially with big folders. A little frustrating.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox removes the classic “Wait, that file is on my other computer” problem.
Benefit: I can switch between laptop, desktop, and phone without thinking. Everything’s always there.
No more fear of hard-drive crashes or accidental deletions.
Instead of version_something_FINAL_reallyFINAL.pdf, Dropbox keeps one master file with version history.

 ### 19. Secure Storage and Effortless Sharing, Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt A. | Dispatch Coordinator, Oil & Energy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like that Dropbox is worry-free; I can upload and have documents in an organized cloud-based program that I can access whenever I need. I appreciate how sharing documents from one user to another works well.

The user interface. It's built its own identity which can be hard to navigate if it's not accessed regularly. Much like comparing how to run a Windows based computer to an Apple based computer.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for keeping documents secure and stored for life; it's worry-free and organized, making access easy when needed.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I am using Dropbox for secure file sharing and secure storage, and I find its large file support very helpful. Dropbox's speed and security make it the best choice for me. It's easy to access from anywhere in the world as long as I have internet and a secure device. The secure login provides higher security, and I appreciate the accessibility from different devices simultaneously. Dropbox is also too easy to use and set up.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uday S.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I really like how simple and reliable Dropbox is. It works quietly in the background, keeping all my files synced effortlessly. I love that I don’t have to think about saving or transferring files—it just happens automatically. The file sharing is incredibly easy too. With just one link, I can share files or folders with anyone, and I have control over whether they can view or edit them, which makes collaboration so much smoother. It's also great that Dropbox works well on all devices. Whether I'm using a phone, laptop, or tablet, my files are always there and up to date. Overall, its ease of use, smooth syncing, and dependable performance are what I like most about Dropbox.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

One thing that doesn’t work as well for me is the limited storage in the free version. It fills up quickly, especially when storing photos or videos, which can be frustrating. The paid plans also feel a bit expensive compared to some other cloud storage options. Another area that could be improved is file organization. When you have many files and folders, it can sometimes feel a little cluttered, and better built-in tools for managing or cleaning up files would help. Also, while Dropbox is generally fast, syncing can occasionally slow down when dealing with very large files or weak internet connections. Improving sync speed and giving clearer sync status updates would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox lets me store all my important files safely, access them from anywhere, and simplifies file sharing. It prevents data loss and makes teamwork easier with shared folders. Overall, it saves time, reduces stress, and organizes my work.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Very convenient and very easy to use. Just install the client and start syncing right away without any technical issues. Very easy to implement and the features are great.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Video hosting can be quite slow sometime. If you use Dropbox for image and other file it is okay but if you store a video and share it with someone to watch. Sometime the buffering can take quite a long time for the video to load.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves the problem of having to use flash drive or physical storage. It is also secure and easy to use. I can access my file anytime and anywhere with just an internet connection. ### 31. Seamless File Syncing and Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sai B. | Assistant Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I find Dropbox to be a reliable and easy-to-use cloud storage solution that makes file sharing and collaboration seamless across devices. Its simple and intuitive user interface reduces the learning curve, allowing me to upload, organize, and find files quickly. I appreciate the fast and reliable file syncing across devices without manual effort. Dropbox's easy file sharing with secure links makes collaboration smooth, especially with others. The automatic backup feature helps prevent data loss and provides peace of mind by protecting important data. Additionally, I like that it works smoothly on mobile, desktop, and web platforms, and integrates well with other collaboration tools. The initial setup was very easy, and the straightforward onboarding process helped us get up and running with minimal disruption.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

While Dropbox works well overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The free plan’s storage limit feels quite restrictive, which pushes users to upgrade sooner than expected. Sync conflicts can occasionally occur when multiple people edit files at the same time, and clearer conflict resolution would help. Additionally, advanced features like version history and admin controls are limited to higher-tier plans. Improving storage flexibility and offering more transparency and control in sync and version management would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Dropbox solves storage problems and simplifies file management with its intuitive interface, fast syncing, and easy sharing. It integrates with other tools to streamline workflows and supports easy setup, enhancing team productivity.

Dropbox makes file organization and collabs very easy across teams. We use it regularly for sharing assets, organizing folders, reviewing creative files, and accessing documents quickly across devices.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

One downside is that some bulk file management actions could be more intuitive and efficient. For example, renaming multiple files is limited.

I use Dropbox to send and save large files like images for digital ads and audio ads. I really like how it solves the problem of large attachments by allowing my clients and me to download files without the hassle or bounce-back issue in emails due to file size. It’s also great to keep files stored over time without needing to archive them, allowing me to easily look back at previous campaigns anytime. Plus, setting it up was simple.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I don't like the login process and sometimes getting errors with allowing certain people to view or access files. They get an error message even though I've allowed them to view, edit, and download.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox allows me to send large files without email bounce backs and keeps files accessible without archiving.

 ### 41. Reliable Cloud Storage with Seamless Syncing

The clean and easy-to-use interface is great, whether on mobile, desktop, or web. I love how fast and consistent file syncing is, and sharing files or folders is a breeze, just takes a few clicks. The seamless cross-device synchronization is probably one of the best features as it keeps my files always up to date. I appreciate the version history and file recovery options, especially when handling important projects. Plus, Dropbox integrates smoothly with tools like Google Docs, Microsoft Office, and Slack, which makes collaboration much more efficient. It's a dependable and secure solution, perfect for both personal and professional use. **Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Yes, I use it for dropping documents into a driver or to zip documents. I like it because free me the space on my computer or phone, so I can update big photos!

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 43. Easy File Sharing and Access Across Computers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan D. | Deputy Prosecutor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like that it is easy to keep files and to share those files with others. Its nice to have access to files from one computer to another computer.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

It is a bit clunky and requires to have specific access rather than open source.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can share files across my network to people I need to have certain information.

 ### 44. Platform-Agnostic Dropbox That Integrates Seamlessly Across Our Tool Stack

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura L. | Influencer Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Unlike Google Drive or OneDrive, which want to keep you inside their own ecosystems, Dropbox is platform-agnostic. It integrates seamlessly with everything—Adobe Creative Cloud, Slack, Zoom, and even Microsoft Office. This makes it the best choice if your team uses a "heterogeneous" mix of tools.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Is often criticized for being more expensive than its big tech competitors.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves the problem of digital fragmentation by using AI to organize and search for files across all your different apps in one place. This benefits you by saving time and reducing stress, allowing you to stay focused on your work instead of hunting for lost documents.

 ### 45. Seamless File Sync and Easy Sharing with Dropbox

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kapil P. | UI/UX Designer & Frontend Developer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

What I like most about Dropbox is how fast and reliable its file syncing is, which makes it really easy to share files and access them across all my devices.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

One downside of Dropbox is that the pricing feels a bit high for the amount of storage you get, especially when you compare it with other alternatives.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox helps me keep all my files in one place and access them from anywhere, which saves me time and makes collaboration much easier.

 ### 46. Reliable Syncing and Effortless Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mxolisi H. | Brand Insights Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

What I like most about Dropbox is how reliable it syncs files across all my devices. I can start working on something on one device and pick it up on another without any issues. It's simply seamless and consistent, making it very dependable. Dropbox keeps my files accessible, organized, and securely backed up. It lets me move between devices without losing progress and makes collaboration simple by eliminating version issues and email attachments.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Dropbox works very well for me, but one area for improvement could be a more intuitive file organization tool. An easier way to clean up duplicate or outdated files and, hence, search filters, or smart automations will also make managing a large amount of content even smoother.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves file storage, access, and collaboration issues. It eliminates limited device storage, prevents data loss by backing up files to the cloud, simplifies sharing without email attachments, and resolves version control problems by keeping files synced across devices.

 ### 47. Seamless Syncing, Highly Secure, but Pricey

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aquib S. | Nothing

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I love how Dropbox stands out for its seamless file syncing across all my devices, making it effortless to pick up work from phone to laptop without missing a beat. Smart sync is a top feature, keeping files accessible online-only, which frees up massive amounts of local storage while still showing everything in the folder view. Password-protected sharing links and expiration dates add strong security for sending sensitive client files. The version history has saved projects multiple times by letting me revert to earlier drafts after accidental overwrites. Its clean, intuitive interface means there's no steep learning curve, so teams onboard quickly and collaborate smoothly. Dropbox also pairs seamlessly with tools like Slack, Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Zapier to automate workflows and centralize file access. The initial setup is straightforward, taking just minutes to install the app, sign up, and start syncing folders across devices.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Dropbox has some limitations like higher pricing for advanced features and occasional sync delays with very large files, which can frustrate power users.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves accessing files anywhere, keeps everything backed up safely, and simplifies sharing large documents. It streamlines workflows, saves storage with smart sync, and secures sensitive exchanges with password-protected links.

 ### 48. Feature-Rich Storage with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umesh Chandran Y. | Student, Education Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I appreciate Dropbox for being among the most reliable online storage solutions with features that boost productivity, security, and teamwork. Dropbox Rewind is incredible for undoing mistakes and recovering from file corruption or malware attacks. Smart Sync is a lifesaver for maintaining access to all my files without using up local storage, which is especially helpful on ultraportable devices. Selective Sync allows me to choose which folders are kept locally, optimizing my device's performance. File Requests make it easy to collect files from anyone, even without a Dropbox account, streamlining submissions and client interactions. I find the Advanced Link Controls fantastic for secure file sharing with features like link passwords, expiration dates, and download restrictions. The setup is straightforward, and I love how easily Dropbox integrates with other tools like Zapier, IFTTT, Trello, and Microsoft Office, making it a complete workflow system.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Some of Dropbox’s coolest features feel like they’re hidden behind a VIP pass. If you're on a free plan or Plus, a few of these won’t show up for you. Rewind is a tool that is normally operable only on paid plans. Smart Sync is not available in the free version. File Requests, on a free plan, count uploads against your storage. Advanced Link Controls, like link passwords or expiration dates, are limited to higher-tier plans.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for sharing large files and collaborating with clients. It simplifies accessing files, offers storage that's cloud-based, and makes connectivity and sharing easy. Features like Dropbox Rewind and Smart Sync enhance productivity and data management without taking up device space.

 ### 49. Practical and Efficient Storage for Photos and Videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis Fernando L. | Soporte, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

The ability to store information, files, photos, and videos in a practical way is a marvel today. Also, the ability to share this information with multiple users is ideal for the projection of information at a business level.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The space for those who do not have a membership with the application is very small, 2 GB, although this space is only for emergency purposes. The cost of storage for using the application is expensive, and the storage used by the application also reduces the available space on my computer or mobile device, which is an important factor to mention.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to share files and replicate information to other collaborators is essential to keep information updated across different areas. This allows us to have the necessary data for operations to be carried out on time and in the right manner, thus facilitating joint work.

 ### 50. Effortless Syncing and Collaboration Across All Devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tommy C. | Customer Care Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I love Dropbox for its seamless automatic syncing across all devices, making files accessible anywhere, its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface, and its excellent file sharing & collaboration tools, including secure links, version history (with paid plans), and integrations with apps like Microsoft Office and Google Docs, simplifying workflows and ensuring data backup.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Dropbox's main downsides include relatively high costs for storage compared to competitors like Google Drive, limited free storage, potential syncing delays with large files, and security/privacy concerns for highly sensitive data, plus some users report app feature shutdowns and missing enterprise features, making it feel less robust than some alternatives for heavy users or businesses.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves problems like disorganized, inaccessible files, slow collaboration, data loss, and limited device storage by providing cloud storage for universal access, easy sharing, version history for recovery, and space-saving sync features, centralizing work for teams and individuals to boost productivity and keep files safe across any device.
