2. They give free 2 GB storage, good for any important storage
3. They have folder options that I like
4. The speed of download is pretty fast
5. Integration of different kinds of documents or files easily
6. The premium pricing is also reasonable
7. The support reply is fast

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

They give very little free storage for free users
Still, they haven't provided any AI features

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can access important files and documents from anywhere from the cloud, and they also have pretty fast download speed. People share with me download links also

  ### 2. Intuitive and Easy Document Sharing with Room for Notification Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie K. | Senior Tax Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like using Dropbox to share documents with clients and colleagues. It helps me send documents securely and keeps them in a central location. It's easy to use, and most people can intuitively figure it out, which means they're more willing to use it. The initial setup was pretty easy too.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes, it doesn't send enough notifications about things being uploaded or downloaded, or they send too many notifications. I wish it would always send notifications when documents are uploaded or downloaded but not send useless end of the day emails that summarize what we already received throughout the day.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox to share documents with clients and colleagues, ensuring they are sent securely and stored in a central location.

  ### 3. Valuable Cloud Storage but Pricey Compared to Alternatives

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like that Dropbox is cloud-based. It's amazing because I can access Dropbox on my phone, on my computer, and anywhere I am, which helps me feel very organized. It's also easy to organize and share files, especially when sharing certain folders with other people. The initial setup was super simple and not hard at all to implement.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I think I had a hard time with how much I'm paying for Dropbox when there's other solutions that are cheaper. It's hard to justify using Dropbox when I could use my Google Drive that I already get with my email.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox is cloud-based, making it easy to organize and share files. I can access it on my phone and computer, staying organized wherever I am.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

How quick and easy it was to setup a colloborative workspace, and how well it performs when working with team members that are based remotely

The cost can scale up quite alot if you dont keep on top of it and use it to store alot of files. Sometimes the intergration with Windows is a bit unreliable too.

A unified location to store files and work with teams across alot of locations

  ### 5. Dropbox’s Easy-to-Use Integration That Just Works

I've been using Dropbox for some time (both personally and for work) and what I like best is the ease of use and integration. I can find all my documents easily and keep them secure.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

What I don't like as much, especially when compared to Google Drive is that it can seem like you're "adding a new tool" to your routine instead of just using a feature that already exists like in Google.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's benefiting my team by keeping us all organized and with access to our important documents such as contracts, NDAs, presentations, and marketing assets. We can collaborate between teams since we have a company space that is shared with everyone.

Slow syncing with large files and uploading and downloading big files can take time

What I like most about Dropbox is its efficiency and accuracy, as it speeds up the process of uploading files. It's very effective and the quality is always good. Compared to other software, Dropbox is the best one.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I think Dropbox is doing a really good job for me. The only thing is accessing Dropbox and it always logging in. It should be having save credentials for that. I just need to sign in with that. I just feel like it's a repetitive task.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox to upload my resume and other folders quickly with good quality. Its efficiency and accuracy make it the best option compared to others.

It is ideal for managing files in a stable and secure manner, especially in environments where real-time collaborative editing is not required.

I like how efficiently Dropbox keeps everything in sync, updating files across devices automatically without extra steps and making sharing access quick. It saves us from tracking down documents or worrying about someone working on an outdated copy. I also appreciate how reliable file recovery is, allowing us to restore earlier versions if something is deleted or overwritten by mistake, providing a safety net that has saved us from rework. The initial setup was straightforward, requiring just an email and password, and syncing files across devices was seamless. I enjoy how Dropbox integrates with our project management tool and communication apps, linking shared files directly into task boards and chats without needing extra steps. Dropbox has handled shared access across our departments well, ensuring file management doesn't become overly complicated.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Search can be hit or miss when folders get large. Finding a specific file sometimes takes more effort than expected. Also, managing permissions across shared folders isn’t always intuitive, which can slow things down when teams change.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox solves our version mess with shared files. It keeps everything synced, preventing outdated copies and saving us from merging changes. It stores and shares files across teams, avoiding email attachments and enabling easy document access without digging through threads.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The sharing of files across countries and teams is helpful. You can tell it has several abilities for privacy and security that I find very helpful when sharing data

Including copying/moving files to new folders with custom names for custom external stakeholders who ask for something specific.

You have to ensure you name your files correctly if you want to find a single file within thousands of files. More of a human error than a dropbox error.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I find it fascinating to be able to keep my files synchronized, as this way I avoid losing information in case of damage or loss. Having a backup of my data in a simple and accessible way is really useful. Although the initial space is a bit limited, I managed to expand it to 18 GB, which surpasses several other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

When sharing files via a link, sometimes it is required to log in with an account, whereas before it was not necessary to be a user to download the shared file. On the other hand, the available space when registering as a basic user is quite limited.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the file synchronization function to coordinate work in my group, facilitating the exchange of files such as drivers, manuals, and installers with end clients. This tool has proven useful for sharing information and resources efficiently within the team and with those who receive our services.

  ### 37. an essential part of my computer.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

It’s a great alternative to something like iCloud, and it feels like you get more value out of Dropbox. My main use is storing references, screenshots, videos, and other files, and being able to access them quickly across different computers. For a while, I was also using it as a kind of second brain, mostly through screenshots. I’m moving that part to another app, but I still need a place to keep and sync the actual files. For that, I think Dropbox is here to stay. It just works.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes Dropbox gets tripped up when the drive is externally attached, for example on my laptop, and syncing can take a long time. Also, the dash functionality is something I never really understood—it just never made sense to me.

On macOS, I use tags in Finder to organize a folder with lots of items. It helps me keep a sense of priority and classification. But once you get to a system this deep, that kind of organization feels like it’s missing in Dropbox, which is why I’m moving toward more of an all-in-one solution for actionable items. I’ll still keep Dropbox for physical files—video references, photos, and things like that—because I don’t want to overload another all-in-one system with them. For that purpose, I think Dropbox is much easier to use.

What I don’t love about Dropbox is that in the browser version, it doesn’t reflect the tags I’ve added. And on iOS—on the iPad version, for example—the tags don’t show up either.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basically, it’s like having an external hard drive and a second-brain system, but synced across two computers for personal use. That’s really convenient, and Dropbox has done a great job keeping everything in sync so I don’t have to chase files up and down.

Also, I’m not a big fan of all the proprietary things on Mac. I love macOS, but I don’t really like the Photos app, the Documents folder setup, and all that stuff. I’d rather have control over it myself and organize things into a second-brain system. The PARA system is what I’m using.

This works great because I can make my own folders, have them reflected across two computers, and they just sync without anything crazy. I’ve even used it on iOS too—when I’m on the go, I can quickly access a folder as long as I remember what it’s called.
