## Dropbox Reviews
  ### 1. Stress-Free File Sync and Sharing, but Pricing and Collaboration Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya B. | employee, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

What I like most about Dropbox is how stress-free it makes file management. I don’t have to worry about losing important documents or carrying files around on a USB drive anymore, because everything is automatically saved and synced across my devices.

The sharing feature is probably the most useful part for me. Sending large files to friends, clients, or teammates takes only a few seconds with a simple link, and it’s far more convenient than emailing attachments back and forth. I also appreciate how straightforward the interface is—without being very technical, I can still organize my folders and find what I need quickly.

Another feature that has genuinely saved me more than once is file recovery. I’ve accidentally deleted or overwritten files before, and being able to restore them easily has been a huge relief.

Overall, Dropbox has made my workflow smoother and more organized without feeling complicated, which is why I continue to use it regularly.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

One thing I don’t like about Dropbox is that the pricing can feel a bit high, especially for people who need more storage. For small teams or students, the free plan also feels fairly limited compared to some competitors.

The UI is generally straightforward, but managing shared folders and permissions can sometimes get confusing when you’re collaborating with multiple people. A clearer, more organized sharing setup would make teamwork easier.

I’ve also noticed that syncing large files can occasionally slow down, particularly on weaker internet connections. Overall, performance is reliable, but those delays can still interrupt your workflow when you’re trying to get important tasks done.

Integrations work well most of the time, though a few third-party app connections could be smoother and more seamless. I also think the AI features have room to grow: they’re helpful, but they don’t yet feel as advanced or as personalized as some newer productivity platforms.

Customer support is decent, but faster responses for technical issues would be a big improvement, especially for non-premium users. Better response times, along with more guided onboarding for advanced features, would make the overall experience even stronger.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox mainly solves the headache of managing files and sharing them easily. Earlier, I used to keep files in different devices or send them again and again on WhatsApp or email, which became messy and confusing.

Now everything stays in one place and automatically syncs, so I can access my files anytime from my phone or laptop. It also makes sharing large files really simple with just a link, especially while working on projects or sharing documents with others.

One thing I personally find very useful is the backup and recovery feature because sometimes files get deleted by mistake, and Dropbox makes it easy to restore them. Overall, it saves time, keeps my work organized, and makes things much less stressful.

  ### 2. Storage King Dropbox ✨

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dibba Kumar T. | Customer Support Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I’ve been using Dropbox for a long time for my home decor business, and it has consistently been a reliable tool for me. What I appreciate most is the storage capacity: it keeps my important data safely saved, and it’s simple to locate exactly what I need. I can access everything quickly from either my phone or my PC whenever I need it.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

What I dislike about Dropbox is the monthly Plus subscription fee while offering only 2000 GB of storage. It feels like it asks for more money each month, yet competitors like Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive provide significantly more storage for a lower monthly price, often bundled with full office suites such as Docs and Sheets or Office 365.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my home decor business, I’m constantly innovating and introducing new product designs. That means I end up with a large volume of high-resolution photos and videos, which require not only plenty of storage but also a platform that makes everything easy to access quickly. Dropbox has really streamlined my workflow. I can access my files right away from any device—whether it’s my phone, laptop, or desktop computer. On top of that, sharing large files with my team members is now much faster and completely hassle-free.

  ### 3. GREAT CLOUD BASED STORAGE SITE

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlene C. | Customer Service Support, Consumer Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

The fact that I can access my files from my phone, my laptop, my daughter's laptop, my computer at work it's so convenient and easy to navigate and use. I use it daily.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I don't enjoy it when it sometimes takes a few days to upload a recent file I may have saved to Dropbox, that can be frustrating, as I've experienced in the past.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've solved any time-wasting problems, as the files are normally available on all platforms, and it saves me having to search other drives; all my files are in one spot and easily accessible.

  ### 4. Fast block-level synchronization of Dropbox, but lacks downsides for balance

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** xandr P. | Legend: Legacy of Dragons" , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Dropbox historically uses block-level synchronization (smart sync). If you change one line in a huge document, it will not upload the entire file again, but will update only that piece. This happens instantly.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Interface Overload (Bloatware): From a simple and lightweight "file cloud," Dropbox has turned into a heavy-duty machine with a bunch of additional services (password managers, video tools, document signing) over the past few years. Because of this, the PC application has become more resource-demanding.

Privacy Concerns: Unlike some specialized clouds (such as Proton Drive or Mega), Dropbox does not use end-to-end encryption (Zero-Knowledge encryption) by default. This means that technically the company has access to your files.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tools like Dropbox Paper (for collaborative notes) and the built-in ability to request files from people who don't even have an account,

  ### 5. Useful and stable for collaborating in the cloud, although I prefer Google Drive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Viviana G. | Owner, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

It is very useful to have files in the cloud when working collaboratively, it provides speed and gives you a digital repository that anyone can review remotely. It is easy to understand and manage for users of all levels, and its price is justified if you are looking for a way to document processes in an orderly manner. I haven't tried it in integrations yet nor have I required support, which speaks well of the system's stability.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I tend to prefer Google Drive as it offers an integrated package of tools for the same price. Its widespread use also makes things much easier with clients and users with little digital proficiency.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integrations could be strengthened, the tool is very good but also very specific. I can't see the value of this function as an isolated element.

  ### 6. Once Essential, Now Overshadowed by Google and Microsoft Cloud Storage

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark T. | Healthcare Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I enjoyed the ability to access documents from anywhere and any computer. At one time cloud storage wasn't readily available and Dropbox was far easier than carrying around a thumb drive (or drives) for document access.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

It really has become an afterthought now that both Google and Microsoft have made cloud storage so easy to access. For most versions of Microsoft Office saving to OneDrive is the default. Google Drive offers the same thing (I don't think I know how to save a Google Doc on the computer or if that's even possible). All of that makes Dropbox redundant.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

10 years ago it was one of the only ways to work on documents from different locations and different computers. It provided a flexibility that has since become the norm. Sadly, Dropbox no longer offers any benefit that I don't already have built in with Microsoft and Google.

  ### 7. Great Features and Usability, But Security and Pricing Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas G. | production specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

What I appreciate most about Dropbox is its user-friendly design, the variety of features it offers, and how straightforward file sharing is. i use the service multiple times a week multiple times a day. The service is accessible on multiple platforms, and I also like that it automatically saves files and backs them up to the cloud. if i have any issues customer support is really helpful. Personally, I really enjoy using Dropbox Paper. i also love the integration into my slack where i run other services related to my work.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I’m not happy that there’s no encryption and that my data is shared with third parties. The price is also a bit high when compared to other options available. Additionally, the file size limits are disappointing. Although the speed is reasonable, I still think it could be improved.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox offers a convenient way to sync my files across different devices and back them up, which means I can access my information from anywhere. This is especially helpful for me since I don't always have my work laptop with me, nor am I always at home. Even so, I can still collaborate with my team on important projects whenever needed.

  ### 8. Valuable Cloud Storage but Pricey Compared to Alternatives

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like that Dropbox is cloud-based. It's amazing because I can access Dropbox on my phone, on my computer, and anywhere I am, which helps me feel very organized. It's also easy to organize and share files, especially when sharing certain folders with other people. The initial setup was super simple and not hard at all to implement.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I think I had a hard time with how much I'm paying for Dropbox when there's other solutions that are cheaper. It's hard to justify using Dropbox when I could use my Google Drive that I already get with my email.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox is cloud-based, making it easy to organize and share files. I can access it on my phone and computer, staying organized wherever I am.

  ### 9. Easy Document Management, Needs Better Large File Support

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NAVINA K. | AR Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use Dropbox for both work and personal activities. It helps me save all my documents and pictures and holds a lot of information, which is very easy to locate. I really like that I can drag my documents or pictures to drop into the app. This feature means I don't need to resave and look for a file, making it very convenient. The initial setup of Dropbox was very easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

When we save large files, it slows down. I have some ZIP files I cannot save.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox helps me save all my documents and pictures, holding a lot of information that's easy to locate. I can drag and drop files without needing to resave or search for them again.

  ### 10. Excellent service; not inexpensive.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Of the cloud services that I use (Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive) Dropbox is by far the most seamless and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The service doesn't run as generous promotions as the others or offer a low cost option.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Real-time updates help prevent many disasters.

  ### 11. Secure, Seamless File Sharing—But UI and Sharing Options Could Be More Intuitive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanket O. | SDET, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

You can share files with others seamlessly over the internet without having to worry about security, file size, or file type.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Competitors offer a more intuitive UI and better sharing options; even sharing files there is comparatively easier. Dropbox's performance appear to be slower compared other options sometimes

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a place to store recordings and other media assets so I could share them with my global team, and Dropbox helps me do that.

  ### 12. Convenient but Local Storage Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** curtis h. | owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I used Dropbox for file storage and it allowed me to move documents between locations easily. I like that it is cloud-based, which makes it an easy way to collaborate with others. It is also easier to use with Android and Windows devices than iCloud. The initial setup of Dropbox was very easy for my team.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

They want to store files locally too which take up a lot of space. I would prefer if they allow us to keep things on the cloud and not on the computer too.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox makes it easy to move documents between locations and collaborate with others because it's cloud-based.

  ### 13. Secure but Confusing Interface

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vince D. | Full-stack Developer

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like the security aspect of Dropbox, with its mandatory multi-factor authentication, which overall is great for keeping my personal files safe. Dropbox's strong security measures make it extremely hard to access my account without the appropriate credentials. I also find Dropbox's integration with OneDrive and my personal computer very useful. This setup allows me to back up all my local storage to the cloud easily, which is convenient since I frequently switch devices.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The Dropbox user interface is extremely confusing and all over the place. It takes a while to get used to and can be improved. The current Dropbox UI has way too much going on, like the sidebar having too many unnecessary redirects. Uploading a simple file takes way too many steps. Also, I'd give the initial setup a 4 out of 10 due to unnecessary complications.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for cloud storage and backup, and I appreciate its robust security with mandatory multi-factor authentication. It helps me confidently store personal files. Syncing with OneDrive and my computer makes device switching seamless and data transfer very easy.

  ### 14. File Syncing Is Great, But Asset Linking Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy C. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I appreciate being able to sync files directly to my computer, which allows me to work straight from my hard drive.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

When working in an INDD file that contains linked assets, I’ve noticed that if someone else opens the file on a different computer, the file paths will be different. As a result, the assets are no longer linked, which can cause issues.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox addresses the core issue of freeing files from being tied to just one physical device. In the days before cloud storage, our crucial documents, photos, and projects were confined to a single computer, which left them exposed, hard to access, and challenging to share.

  ### 15. Hard to Organize and Frequent “Out of Space” Issues Despite Good Pricing

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor P. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Hopefully secure, good pricing, easy to find

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

trying to organize it was difficult for me, also kept getting running out of space, when there was very little in the dropbox

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting secure doc to my accountant for tax purposes

  ### 16. DocSend Is Helpful, but Dropbox Still Has Room to Improve

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tumen S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

DocSend is most helpful feature of Dropbox for me.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Free plan's storage is only 2GB. Other storage services are better like 5GB

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving my data in cloud, and accessing easily

  ### 17. Simple and Reliable for File Storage

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumit C. | HR trainee, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Dropbox is extremely easy to use and has a clean, intuitive interface for uploading and sharing files . Accessing documents from any device is seamless, and the synchronization process is very reliable . The version history feature is quite helpful, allowing recovery of older file versions when needed .

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The free storage limit is very restrictive, and upgrading to higher plans is expensive compared to other cloud providers . Some users experience slow or laggy syncing, especially with larger files or when using multiple devices . Also, Dropbox does not offer zero-knowledge encryption, so privacy-focused users may have concerns

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox helps solve the problem of accessing and sharing files across multiple devices and locations. It provides a secure and convenient way to back up important documents, collaborate with others in real time, and ensures files remain organized and easily retrievable when needed

  ### 18. Solid software and always adding on new tools

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy S. | Marketing Consultant, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Ease of using it and connecting it to my PC. The implementation and daily usage justify the cost for a small business. They are constantly adding tools and some of them have value. I use it every single day.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I have a real issue with the way they HIDE the amount of storage you use and that no matter how many files you delete from the online version that number never seems to go down. I used to store copies of all coaching call videos and provide a link that was valid for a year to my clients. At the end of the year I would delete 100's of hours of video and even after I stopped storing new videos there and have continued to delete year after year, the amount of storage I use has never been reduced. They just use the number "attempt" to sell me more storage... Their support has all kinds of reasons for this, but Dropbox makes it hard to valid the amount of data used and harder still to reduce your data usage...I hope they fix this as I love how easy it is to use.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online Document storage.

  ### 19. Strong Brand, But Feels Outdated on Integration vs Google Workspace and Microsoft

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wenmo S. | Data Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

The idea of dropbox and brand recognition.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Dropbox sounds a little out of date in terms of integration. It gives the feeling of disconnect with either google workspace or microsoft because these providers already include cloud storage which works better with other apps.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cloud storage. This is just another layer of file preservation

  ### 20. Reliable Storage, But Duplicate Management Needed

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg S.

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I appreciate that Dropbox serves as a centralized location for storing all my digital files. It efficiently uploads any files I use on my laptop automatically to the cloud, ensuring that I have a secure backup of my data. The automatic uploading feature is incredibly useful for keeping all my important documents safe and accessible from anywhere, which significantly simplifies my workflow and provides peace of mind.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I find navigating Dropbox a bit difficult at times, especially when I try to open files but end up clicking the checkbox instead, which is quite annoying. Deleting duplicate files is very challenging and Dropbox lacks an inherent tool for identifying and managing these duplicates. This results in me having two or three times the storage space I actually need due to these duplicate uploads, which is frustrating and costly. Despite the advancements in AI, it's disappointing that Dropbox does not have a feature to easily search for and present duplicates for efficient organization. The current structure of my files in Dropbox is haphazard, making it difficult to find anything, which further complicates its usability.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox as a central location to store digital files from my laptop, and it automatically uploads them to the cloud for storage.

  ### 21. Reliable Storage with Potential Integration Challenges

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bianca S.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I've been using Dropbox for over ten years, mainly to store my pictures and occasionally for work to transfer large files to my clients. One feature I really like is the capability to open the app on my iPhone and easily upload all my photos with just a click, which I find very convenient and automatic. This feature is incredibly helpful as it provides a backup solution for my pictures, which is a significant problem that Dropbox solves for me. Additionally, I find Dropbox user-friendly since I can effortlessly drop various files into it and share them with someone else, a feature I find particularly useful given my work with students and clients worldwide. It offers an easy and approachable method to share information across distances.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

{"I find the HIPAA compliant version of Dropbox to be too expensive, which was a primary reason for initially moving away from it.","I don't have a lot of knowledge about the integration between Dropbox and Google Suite. It would be helpful to have clearer information or better integration features.","In my experience, Dropbox seems to operate more like a standalone tool rather than integrating seamlessly with other software I frequently use, like Google Suite. This makes it feel isolated from my main software ecosystem."}

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox to backup my pictures and transfer large files easily to clients worldwide, benefiting from its simple sharing features.

  ### 22. Easy Navigation, Needs Better Security Confidence

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Mari M. | Support Coach

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use Dropbox for storing my personal data files, and I appreciate that it offers ample space to store multiple documents. I like that it's easy to navigate, which makes managing my files a hassle-free experience. I also value the safe box feature, where I can keep my secret videos and photos and ensure that only I can view them. Additionally, the initial setup was incredibly quick, taking less than a minute, which made getting started very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I feel anxious about Dropbox's security when it comes to protecting personal data. There is an underlying concern about the vulnerability of sensitive information stored on the platform.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox for personal data storage. It provides ample storage space for multiple documents and features a safe box for secure video and photo storage, making navigation easy.

  ### 23. Great for Integration, Needs Better Storage and Pricing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin L.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I appreciate Dropbox for its ease of setting up on multiple devices and platforms, which significantly simplifies my workflow. Its straightforward file-sharing capabilities with friends, family, and coworkers are invaluable, allowing for seamless coordination and collaboration. The integration of Dropbox with both desktop and mobile apps enhances this experience, ensuring that I have consistent access and functionality across all my devices. Additionally, Dropbox works well with other software I use, such as Trello and Microsoft 365, making it an essential part of my daily operations. This seamless integration and adaptability have deeply embedded Dropbox into my workflow, making it a go-to tool for file storage and sharing.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I wish Dropbox offered more storage space at a lower price.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Dropbox super easy for sharing files with colleagues and family, enhancing coordination. Its seamless integration across devices and platforms has become essential in my workflow.

  ### 24. Solid for Basic Storage, Needs Easier Usability

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley I.

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I have been using Dropbox for ten years primarily for backup and storage purposes. One feature I find beneficial is its capability to automatically save my screenshots, which is helpful even though I am not entirely sure how this feature was set up. This functionality simplifies the process of ensuring important images are securely stored without any additional effort, providing a reliable backup for my data.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I find Dropbox more challenging to use compared to Google, indicating that there's something about its ease of use that could be improved. I'm looking for Dropbox to be more affordable and offer superior performance compared to Google, as the current pricing and performance do not meet my expectations for considering continued use.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Dropbox useful for storing my data safely, and it automatically saves my screenshots, which helps in keeping them organized.

  ### 25. Reliable and Simple, But Pricing and Complexity Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Dropbox is reliable and simple to work with. Files sync quickly, the sharing experience is straightforward, and I do not have to think about whether something is accessible to the right people. It handles the basics well, which matters more than extra features I rarely use.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The pricing feels a bit high for what I actually use, and some of the advanced features add complexity without improving my workflow. The desktop app can also feel heavy at times.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox gives me one place to store and share files without worrying about version control or access issues. It reduces back and forth, keeps external partners aligned, and lets me keep work organized without constant maintenance. It also provides a consistent setup across devices, which removes small but annoying friction from my day.

  ### 26. Dropbox review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruvimbo J. | Associate 1, Field Service Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

What I appreciate most about Dropbox is its straightforwardness and dependability when it comes to syncing and sharing files across different devices and teams. Using it is remarkably simple, just drag and drop your files into the Dropbox folder, and they are immediately backed up and available from anywhere. The version history feature is particularly useful, allowing you to recover previous versions of files or restore those that have been deleted. Additionally, Dropbox’s integration with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom makes collaboration effortless.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Occasionally, I experienced syncing issues, and I also find that the free plan offers very limited features.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox makes it simple for me to access and share files across all my devices, keeping everything in sync so I always have the most up-to-date version. I find it especially useful for collaborating with others, and I appreciate the peace of mind that comes from its automatic backups and version history.

  ### 27. Easy Setup, But Dropback’s Pricing Is a Major Drawback

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harry H. | Executive Vice President (Sales Executive), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Easy to use and straightforward to set up. It’s also well known in the marketplace. The fact it can be in the system tray makes it easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The biggest drawback of Dropback is its pricing.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to share and distribute large files that are too big to send by email.

  ### 28. Great product and service with lots of tools and easy to use. Can be improved with more with iOS

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcelo "Naka" N. | E-commerce Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use it regularly. It works very well for backing up my personal files using selective sync, as well as for all the files on my computer. The app is easy to use and install.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

The integration with iOS and macOS X could use some improvement, particularly when it comes to photo and video backup. It would be great if this feature worked more like iCloud.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it for backing up my personal files with selective sync, as well as for creating backups of all the files on my computer. Disaster recovery, having not to use it. :)

  ### 29. Reasonably good for active music production files, but always feels like a sell

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Music | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like best that I can access music files on different device easily. It is more simple than Google Drive or iCloud for this purpose. I like that I can upload voice notes directly to Dropbox. It is reasonably good for file management.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I dont like the perpetual ask to buy more services. It feels predatory and makes me not want to pay for additional services. I dislike that there are not intermediate options for additional data usage. I dislike that I start getting "low space" warnings at 50%. I dislike the app and that it is constantly showing that offline or downloaded files are not there.

I dont like the difficultly of moving files between folders.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me to access and share mixes of songs quickly and easily, for me and my clients.

  ### 30. Easy Large File Sharing, But Inconsistent at Times

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzanne N. | Research and Communications Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Makes it easier to share big files between people.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

It can be annoying at times by not working consistently.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps people share big files making it easier to collaborate.

  ### 31. Good if you can work around the limitations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Dropbox allows me to move files between remote workers and clients, and provides a unique set of tools for collaboration that aren’t available elsewhere

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

There are arbitrary limitations designed to force an upgrade, as well as poor performance with the “easiest” options. There were bizarre errors when I first started using replay and support was slow.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting files to remote workers, and collaboratively reviewing works in progress remotely

  ### 32. Great File Sharing, but the UI and Folder Organization Need Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Access to shared files - link directly to files

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

user interface & the folder organization isn't the best, would love a cleaner way to scroll and find what i need

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients and Account team and Ads team all has access to a folder with their information in it, but i have to preview each one to see what in it very well at all

  ### 33. Decent platform but a victim of more comprehensive solutions

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Graham S. | Project Manager, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I like the speed and simplicity of the platform. The web apps work well and sharing links is seamless. Rolling the platform out is just a matter of adding users in your system which can easily be done by an administrator.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Dropbox's major downfall is that most buyers likely already pay for Google workspace of Microsoft 365, meaning they are inherently doubling up on a platform that they already have. Until Dropbox can expand their suite of products to be a true competitor to those platforms, they will always be at a disadvantage.

The only other gripe I have is that I find selective sync to be a frustrating experience that needs to be continually updated as new files and folders are added. It would be nice to have an option to not sync new files by default.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a construction company with remote teams in various locations. We also work extensively with subcontractors and consulting teams. Being able to access files quickly across multiple locations is critical. Dropbox largely solves this issue.

  ### 34. Hard-to-Reach Support and Limited Community Answers, Despite Handy Template Grouping

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

The ability to group templates when creating document packages.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Support was hard to get in contact. The community forum did not always have the answers.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at the moment

  ### 35. File Storage and Folder Sharing Are Great, But the Experience Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Possibility to store files and share folders

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Navigating between folders is often not easy. I'm not convinced that payment plans are also for those who view the files. If I want to share a folder with someone outside the company, they should also have a payment pl

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facilitates sharing folders with external parties, allowing you to control their permissions

  ### 36. User-Friendly for Sharing but Needs Improved File Navigation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LeeAnn S. | Director of Operations + Lead Instructor + Creative Assistant / Jr. Producer

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I love how Dropbox provides an easy and reliable way to share photos and albums with clients, making collaboration straightforward. The setup process was super easy. Dropbox solves the problem of having a centralized place to upload and share folders, creating a collective space for my work with clients. This convenience is indispensable for my workflow, as it ensures everything is organized and accessible in one spot.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I think transitioning between files and folders is not as smooth as it could be, which can disrupt workflow efficiency.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dropbox to upload and share folders, providing a collective place for client interactions, which aids in smooth client communication.

  ### 37. Easy to Use, But Still Figuring Things Out

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

That's something I will have to figure out :)

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well its easy access to files, security, store stuff and to work with others

  ### 38. Essential Automated Backups, But Pricey Compared to Alternatives

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lou C. | President, CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Automated backups are crucial in this insecure world, especially with outages in most cloud providers. Everyone needs to use a cloud backup along with an air-gapped hardware version

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

It's actually quite expensive compared to other offerings and it's connection to a very brittle AWS was the first reason I decided to drop the service. Plus, they don;t make it easy to leave.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A backup to my backup

  ### 39. Lacks Storage but Useful for File Sharing

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** T T.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I find Dropbox's ability to share files with coworkers very useful. It provides a convenient platform for collaborative work and easily facilitates file sharing within a team.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I am frustrated with Dropbox's limited storage which prompted me to switch to Google Drive. Another issue is that Dropbox does not solve any specific problems for me. Additionally, I find the search functionality and layout to be not user-friendly, making navigation difficult sometimes.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't find Dropbox solving any problems for me. Searching and layout issues make it hard to use, but I appreciate being able to share files with coworkers.

  ### 40. Great for File Security, But Account Management Is Confusing

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 41. Great for Storing Everything, But You’ll Likely Need More Space

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

One place to store everything. You put all of your pictures and documents along with important papers only to find out that you have used up storage. Frequency of use as I love going one place for all my needs.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Runs out of space and you need to buy more

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am hoping it will release more space so that we will not have to pay

  ### 42. Great Multi-Device Access, But File Sharing Restrictions Frustrate

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Using it on all my platforms easily. Phone, laptop, back up laptop etc.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of access to my files.

  ### 43. User-Friendly and Convenient, But Security Needs Clarity

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miguel B. | Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

This product is very user-friendly, making it simple to use and straightforward to integrate with various platforms. Additionally, accessing it is effortless, which adds to its overall convenience.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I have some reservations regarding the security, as it's not entirely clear to me how safe it actually is.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accessibility is excellent, with data consistently available whenever I need it.

  ### 44. Useful Features, But Clunky Login and Slow Syncing Hold It Back

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix P. | Senior Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I couldn't get it to work. I uploaded the documents and everything appeared to be fine on my end, but the other person said they couldn't see them.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to share files too large to send in an email.

  ### 46. Easy to use and share, but the free space is limited

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moises A. | Business Development Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

The main problem it solves is that I can have the files organized and all together.

  ### 47. Not so easily accepted by companies, still a good tool for file sharing

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I find the capacity of Dropbox to be a limiting factor, as we always seem to need more storage. Additionally, I would prefer if Dropbox were free, as I believe free services are better and this affects my willingness to recommend it to others.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox helps store files in a distributed format, making them available to multiple people simultaneously.

  ### 49. Easy to Use and Better Than Box, But Free Version Lacks Space

**Reviewed by:** Stefano V. | Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025
