**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

How easy it makes file sharing and syncing across my laptop and phone. I use it daily to back up project folders and share design links with clients, and the mobile app is incredibly fast when I need to grab a file on the go. The UI is clean, and the automatic syncing works reliably without any lagging.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Mobile app logs me out completely every couple of weeks, forcing me to type in my full password instead of just using Face ID. It can be a minor annoyance when I am in a rush between meetings.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the headache of managing files and keeping them organized across my phone and laptop. Before using it, I would constantly email files to myself or copy things onto a flash drive just to work from a different device, which got messy and made it easy to accidentally lose the latest version.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

What I like best about Dropbox is its simple and reliable file synchronization across multiple devices. I use it regularly to store, organize, and share important documents, and the interface is intuitive enough that I can find and access files quickly without any learning curve.

The drag-and-drop upload feature and shared folder functionality have improved my workflow by making collaboration much easier. Instead of sending large email attachments, I can generate a secure share link and provide instant access to colleagues or clients. The automatic syncing ensures that I always have the latest version of my files on my desktop and mobile devices.

Another feature I appreciate is version history and file recovery, which has helped me restore previous versions of documents after accidental changes. The integrations with common productivity tools also make it convenient to work with files without constantly switching between applications.

Another limitation is that syncing very large folders can sometimes take longer depending on internet speed, especially when uploading many files at once. While the platform is generally reliable, faster upload management for large datasets would improve the experience.

I would also like to see more advanced collaboration and productivity features included in the standard plans, as some competing cloud storage services bundle additional tools at similar price points. Although Dropbox integrates well with other applications, having more built-in functionality could reduce the need for third-party services.

Overall, these issues have not prevented me from using Dropbox, but improvements in storage value and large-file handling would make the platform even better.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

- It's the safest place to keep your videos/pictures and the fact that it provides more storage than a G-drive for free is even better
- UI is also very friendly and clean

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

For a photos/videos syncing platform, it now feels like it has integrated too many features that aren’t really relevant, and the overall experience comes across as overdone - things like AI tools and Notes, for example.

At the same time, it doesn’t offer many of the kinds of features that keep users coming back regularly, like Google Drive-style stories, insta-edits, memories, and similar options.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have always used it as a back-up to Google drive storage. So, whenever my storage runs over in Gmail, I move my data to Dropbox and the process is seamless.

Also, the feature to have a shared folder allows you to keep shared data in a single place and avoid duplicates

Honestly, I really like how easy Dropbox makes everything. I’ve been using it for quite a while, and it’s one of those apps that just works without creating any extra hassle. Uploading, accessing, and sharing files is very straightforward, and it’s been especially useful for keeping important documents backed up and easy to reach across different devices.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Sometimes syncing takes longer than I expect, especially with large folders or when my internet connection is unstable, and it can get confusing when duplicate or conflicted copies of files show up. I also feel like the free storage runs out pretty quickly, so keeping on top of space and managing what’s stored becomes a bit annoying over time.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I really appreciated using DropBox, the first thing I liked a lot is the fact that it works like other clouds, meaning if you want more space beyond the 2GB they offer, you pay to get it but it doesn't ask for credit cards to store your files. Additionally, it's very convenient for storing files, you can insert Passkeys and recovery codes, it's very well-known and widely used in the hospital sector.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

What I liked least about Dropbox is the fact that when you upload very important files related to programs used by control units connected to the entire hospital, being formatted as logs (text files .txt, so they are only written when there are events), now Dropbox gives you an error with important files during the upload to the cloud with the error "Some uploads failed." Now, this has made me doubt the functionality of the cloud because if one of my backups, which is also synchronized, does not have every file it contains uploaded, it creates problems for me, which need to be resolved. Additionally, the PDF editing requires a 30-day trial version, and the banners telling you about the AI that appear while you're searching for files are very annoying.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The advantages offered by Dropbox are remarkable; the upload speed, even in the free plan, is very fast. Additionally, on the security side, it is very secure. I keep schedules synchronized with Dropbox, and I am able to see files synchronized with all employees. Furthermore, it is an excellent alternative to the more well-known clouds.

Easy interface, and you can use it when you want it as you can put files in dropbox at home and look at these files whenever you need them...so long as you have wi-fi and can get onto dropbox to see your files. Great for sharing within families or business

They got rid of their lower tiers in terms of family /small business usage and that made it more expensive. Also- depending on the updates and operating systems used-you can have update issues. For ex. in our business, we did not want to upgrade certain IOS systems due to an oder computer and had to lose out on the use of dropbox as there were no fixes to use an older system.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits you if you have files and work you are sharing between workers, families and systems. It is seamless when updating files between one to another set of files. Great for work partners "on the go."

What I personally value most is how seamless collaboration is. For instance, when working on campaign assets or reports, different stakeholders can access the same files, leave comments, and rely on version history without worrying about overwriting work or losing track of updates.

It removes a lot of the friction typically associated with file sharing and ensures everyone is working on the latest version. The cross-device accessibility is also a big advantage, particularly when switching between office work and remote access.

While Dropbox is very reliable, one challenge we’ve faced at is the pricing structure as our usage grows.

As we scale and handle more content-heavy projects (especially large marketing files like videos and high-res creatives), storage needs increase quickly. This often requires upgrading to higher-tier plans, which can become costly over time.

Compared to other cloud solutions, I would say Dropbox could offer more flexibility in pricing or more modular options, so companies can scale more gradually based on their actual needs.

Dropbox solves a key operational challenge for us: maintaining a single, reliable source of truth for files across teams and external partners.

Before using it, file sharing was fragmented — emails, local storage, and multiple versions created confusion and delays. Now, everything is centralized and accessible in real time.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I use Dropbox primarily for sharing files, which has been incredibly helpful for both personal and business purposes, as well as unique projects. One of the biggest assists for me is handling large files that can't easily be sent via email but can be placed in Dropbox, making it much easier to manage significant amounts of data. I also like the notifications feature, which alerts me when something has been modified in the platform. This is a real time saver because it eliminates the need for other forms of communication like emails or phone calls. It's especially useful when multiple parties are involved and need to access changed files. Overall, these features make Dropbox a valuable tool for me.

I feel like it's a little cumbersome inside as you dig down into files. Keeping things organized and how things are structured inside the platform with respect to the files can be a little confusing. I remember struggling a little bit with the setup. It wasn't a complete piece of cake, and there was a bit of confusion around the setup.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Easy access to my files across multiple platforms, works on Windows, MacOS, Android. Files are automatically updated and can be stored either online or online and offline. 
Can be used to automatically sync and backup pictures from phone, can share files and golders easily when collaborating on projects. It is compatible with standard folder structures which makes it easy to integrate with the OS. The price is quite good for the amount of storage included.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I recently had an issue where my Dropbox manager disappeared and I had to uninstall it before I could install it again and sync my files. It would also not recognise my previous Dropbox folder as the same folder so all the files were downloaded leasing a lot of duplicates.

It help me keep my files on multiple devices to make it available on the computer with the software to analyse the files. Easier to share larger files that are too big to send via email.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

Its versatility of use makes it really easy to use. What I like the most is its application, which maintains selective synchronization; that way I don't overload my device with files. Also, I have used it on both Windows and Mac, and it has worked correctly on both platforms. I have been working with Dropbox for 5 years and I am still paying the same.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

I don't like the file searcher at all, sometimes it's impossible to find an image or files, even if I put in key words, files that have nothing to do with those words appear.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve the problem of heavy storage. I used to use Synology and always had my mind occupied thinking about how much free space I had left and calculating how long it would be before I had to buy another Synology with greater storage capacity. Now, I don't even remember how much storage I have in Dropbox.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

I am using Dropbox to store my code files, create backups, and share them with my team. I appreciate the flexible workspace, allowing teams to create, review, and organize content in real-time, which enhances productivity and collaboration. I like the real-time collaboration feature where multiple users can simultaneously edit documents with changes instantly visible to all participants. It's also great that multi users can use it without any installation. Dropbox makes it easy to share files, photos, and videos online, reducing the time for uploading and downloading. The initial setup is very easy, as I can just use email and password or log in from my Google account.

I'm not happy with the loading issue. It's actually slow compared to Google Drive, which sometimes affects how quickly I can get things done.

With Dropbox I love that you are able to create different folders of files and keep them stored in one place but in an organize system. I also love that you can assign different team members to different folders where they can add and access files. In addition, drop box allows you to have enough and a lot of storage for your files and recovery so you never loose them and know where they are at all times. At last, you are also able to edit files directly in one system and the system is able to handle a lot of files t once.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

At the moment I don't like that you are not able to lock your folders so it is not leak and someone else is able to access it and also not hack prevented.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dropbox is solving having one software besides outlook and Gmail to store files but have them into different folders and not having to pay extra money just to have this feature. It is beneficial by allowing business to run smooth and having all the employees access everyone files in one place without having to stress where everything is. Also, the software is able to handle a lot of files at once without hassle and interruption.

I love using Dropbox because it solved the problem of sharing huge creative files by letting us just share a link of the uploaded files. The upload speed is impressive, and the ability to create folders helps our team organize and upload files conveniently. I also felt that Dropbox is much safer and encrypted compared to other platforms like Drive. Setting it up was very easy since I could sign in with my office credentials.

Breadcrumbs on the above section were not easily accessible, as there are multiple folders. Giving a grid view/list view would be easy, just like Google Drive.

I like that Dropbox is a standalone cloud storage solution that offers many of the same features as major competitors. Because it's a focused solution, it's also able to provide other features that the competition does not, like the ability to request files. It offers many ways to access the platform including web, mobile apps, desktop application, and so on, making it easy to use. Similarly, it's popular enough to be offered as a common integration option with several 3rd party platforms.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

Currently, I don't use Dropbox as often as I did in the past and so I limit myself to the free plan I have. I would have to make a strategic decision if I were to upgrade to a paid plan.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to request and upload files to Dropbox made it a popular choice over major competitors like Google Drive and OneDrive. A common roadblock when building online forms is the need to request files from public users. This is not possible with Google Forms or Microsoft Forms, so Dropbox is a great solution to mediate that need.

**What do you like best about Dropbox?**

It’s easy to store files, photos, and videos in the cloud, and I can access them easily from different devices. It’s a real lifesaver compared with hectic file transfers.

**What do you dislike about Dropbox?**

We only get 2 GB of storage, so the base plan isn’t that great. The real value feels like it’s hidden behind a pricey paywall, so it would be a relief for many people if they increased the free storage.

**What problems is Dropbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of accessing the same files, pics, or vids is basically solved for me. I can easily get to them from different devices and from different parts of the world, so yeah, it’s a huge help when I’m traveling and need access to my files, pics, and vids.
