Drop Spot is a web-based document collection and client onboarding portal designed for accountants, CPAs, bookkeepers, mortgage brokers, creative agencies, and law firms. It eliminates the manual work of chasing clients for paperwork by replacing password-locked portals and unencrypted email threads with single-use magic links. Key Features: • Passwordless Client Uploads: Clients click a secure magic link and upload requested documents without registering, remembering passwords, or installing apps. • Automated Follow-Up Reminders: Configurable email and SMS reminder schedules that politely nudge clients and shut off automatically once the checklist is fulfilled. • Mobile Camera-to-PDF Scanner: In-browser camera capture with automatic perspective correction and high-contrast multi-page PDF compilation for physical documents and receipts. • 1-Click Review & Rejection: Inspect PDFs, spreadsheets, and image uploads directly in the browser; approve files or reject individual items with targeted feedback notes. • Ephemeral Storage & Retention: Built-in 30-day, 90-day, or custom auto-purge retention windows with permanent SHA-256 audit receipts for compliance with IRS Pub 4557 and FTC Safeguards. • Direct Cloud Storage Sync: Export completed packages as organized ZIP archives or sync directly to Google Drive and Dropbox.
