They have incredible customer support. The fact that they have chat support available 24/7 really makes a difference.

Depending on what you're using it for, the platform itself has its downsides, but for us it was a step forward from MailChimp and getting a lot of the functionality of solutions ten times more expensive (hubspot etc) for a fraction of the price.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email marketing, automation, lead gen form management.

**What do you like best about Drip?**

What a fantastic & powerful tool that's also user friendly at a competitive price. After trying several different providers I'm sticking with Drip.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I don't like the way they organise the 'people' with tags. I preferred adding people to different lists like in Mailchimp.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Shopify & thanks to the powerful Shopify integration I've cut my app costs & requirements.

  ### 9. Drip is a great partner to automize your email marketing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jinkyu H. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip is the best platform where I can conduct experiments. I can conduct experiments regarding to not only just email title, email body text, but also recipient segmentation and condition to send emails.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

it's not available to easily remove or move the link between nodes on the workflow. Thus, I need to duplicate the workflow in order to modify the workflow.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need to find a re-marketing channel to boost customer purchase, and the email would be the one of that. How ever most of the email platform do not provide a suitable environment to experiment on email marketing. Thus, I have been looking for suitable email marketing platform, and I have finally found Drip.

  ### 10. Why I love drip

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The responsiveness of the customer service team is a critical element to this platform that makes it accessible and productive for our business.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Some of the field restrictions and budding development on customization.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User engagement and constant communication has been critical problem solved with Drip. We have recently realized the automation.

  ### 11. marketing automation I never realised I REALLY needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul I. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It's so easy to create an amazingly sophisticated workflow and even more amazing, when you get stuck, having 24/7 live chat support has been fantastic!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Not being able to easily view all subscribers

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Make the leap, roll up your sleeves and dive in, once you understand the logic the possibilities are almost limitless

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating e-mails, from general enquiries, newsletters and pre and post sales.

  ### 12. Best Tool for E-commerce

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Powerful automatons and segmentation. I like the tag feature and setup as well.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Steep learning curve. Pricing could be a little more transparent as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Take the leap, well worth it.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated a lot of our campaigns and follow ups, attached to Facebook audiences as well.

  ### 13. Great automation!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brittany E. | Director of Marketing and Social Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Easy to use and great to automate messages customized to your company's processes.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The font options in the text built emails. Not being able to change font color, highlight, select size, etc. You can only choose from the preset options. Also, having to wait a full day to re-send unopened emails. I'd prefer you can re-send the unopened emails in half a day as well because some of the emails we send are more urgent like we are having a sale that day and we want it to get to everyone THAT DAY, not the next when it is no longer relevant.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Take advantage of the tutorials!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mass emailing, tracking data on opens, clicks, unsubscribes, etc. I know there is much more that Drip can be used for once we have our webstore up and running, which I why I chose Drip. It offers great scale-ability for us so we are ready to use the other features later.

  ### 14. Still learning about the platform but I like what it has to offer so far!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Automation and workflow formulas that seems to be what I like the most.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I have not enough experience with drip yet to know anything that I consider a major dislike.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking leads and implementing them into conversions for my client.

  ### 15. Excellent CRM for advanced bloggers or eCommerce businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry S. | Host, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I've worked with multiple email marketing and CRM systems over the past 5 years (MailChimp, GetResponse, Aweber, ConvertKit, Active Campaign, Infusionsoft...), so I ahve a fairly good idea of what makes a good - or bad - platform. Drip is right at the top for me in terms of user interface, alongside ConvertKit, but that one is aimed more at pro-bloggers. Drip is really powerful when it comes to integrating with ecommerce (we use Shopify), and the automation options it offers are excellent, and campaigns easy to build. Reporting is done well, too, and they've recently added a new option to their dashboard showing just how much revenue each campaign has brought in.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There are tiny details that could be done better - like drag&drop functionality in the automation builder (there is none atm), and for some strange reason, the email template we use sometimes disables bold text, which is a bit of a pain, but nothing to get hung about.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Drip may be a bit advanced for first-time users, but if you are looking for an all-round CRM system that can handle your ecommerce, multiple customer groups, and multiple email automations, packed in a user-friendly interface, it's a very good choice... and if you happen to be using Leadpages, it should be a no-brainer.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Drip both for top of the funnel communication and converting website visitors into customers, as well as following up with existing and new customers after purchase - meaning we can target specific products with their own follow-ups, and tag customers accordingly.

  ### 16. The most robust automation marketing platform around

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chad F. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip does automation very well, it is one of the reasons I switched to using it from my previous email service which only had basic automation tasks. With Drip, the automation workflows are shown visually, so it is much easier to see how your conditional statements will affect the different parts of your campaign. Drip also integrates with a lot of third-party solutions, which makes it easier for me to take my user data and apply it to other tools and services to make the customer experience even better. You can also do very complex conditional statements within your email messages. Finally, I like that everything is based around tagging, so your users can be given various tags which are the most flexible way to segment your list.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Since being acquired by LeadPages, their interface changed and some sections became harder to navigate, but a lot of new features were also added. I'm still getting used to the new UI flow.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Drip was one of the first to perfect building automation flows, and their tools and integrations are handsdown the most advanced at this point in time. Since they are now owned by LeadPages, they have a lot more resources now and I am confident that they now have a bigger team to build out more unique features and stay ahead of the curve.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a solution to allow me to do automation flows for email marketing, as well as a CRM that lets me tag users. Drip offered both of these. Tagging has become critical to my business, and I have segmented my list by their interests, triggered tags based on what they have opened and pages they have visited on my website. It is very powerful.

  ### 17. Bigtime learning curve, but seems very powerful

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerica C. | Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like how easy it is to integrate with my ecommerce site, and thus can become a powerful resource for communicating with my customers according to their behavior and interaction with my company.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I feel sort of lost getting started--it's hard to know where to begin. The system is super powerful, but to a newbie like myself with not a lot of monetary resources to throw at "experts," I find it almost overwhelming. There is a FB forum which is helpful for realtime advice, but it does seem like most of the users work for someone else and are already way above my level. Hopefully I'll catch on soon! I hope Drip will continue offering webinars and workflows for those of us who need help.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Read a lot and watch lots of webinars.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I anticipate being able to increase my customer satisfaction by communicating on a more personalized level with my customers. I like that I can analyze behaviors and track orders, etc, all in one place.

  ### 18. Its Good - but

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

pretty simple to use interface, and plenty of features

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Sudden unexpected price bumps without prior warning

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Watch the price bands, and make sure they fit with your needs

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent for Automating welcome emails to clients, and adding a series of follow ups

  ### 19. Simplifying complex email processes for massive gain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete B. | Chief Copywriter / Head of Content, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The UX is incredible. I've used plenty of different ESPs in the past and Drip is, far and away, the most intuitive to use.
It's a pleasure to actually write emails within Drip which is something I honestly cannot say for the competitors I've used in the past.

The way campaigns, workflows, and triggers are organised as well makes it super simple to set up really targeted campaigns that, if you can find the right words, are sure to convert.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I would love to see a couple of more integrations. I recently had some issues in integrating Typeform with Drip. Another integration I'd love to see would be one with Facebook Messenger.

I would also love to see some more options for opt-ins. the current selection is great, but I'd love to test more options.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Try it. What have you got to lose? You can sign up for a free account up to (I think) a few hundred subs.

Run a test of Drip against your current ESP and see which one is easier to implement and gets the best results.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using it for my email marketing.

That includes everything from welcoming new subscribers on a B2C site I run, to selling products to those people through Drip's triggered emails.

I also use it for my client based business to keep in touch and keep my brand top of mind for when they need to hire a great copywriter.

  ### 20. Get your emails automated, across platforms, in a delightful way

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justine P. | Business Growth Strategist & Operations Expert, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I've used LOTS of email platforms in my work with clients - MailChimp, Active Campaign, HubSpot, Constant Contact, Mad Mimi, Infusionsoft, the list goes on. When I decided to take my email marketing to the next level, I chose Drip. It's smart, easy to use, FUN to use and has the best that email marketing systems have to offer these days. The price is good for the depth of functionality. They have a great knowledgebase and it's always easy to implement my ideas - with a quick search I find what I need to do!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I think the only thing I dislike is the minimum amount of fonts that I can use in the emails themselves - a small gripe given everything that I CAN accomplish in this tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you need simple workflows, ease of integrating with your website and a simple tool that does advanced automation, Drip will be your friend!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting clients into on-boarding sequences
Lead nurturing
Event management
Lead magnet delivery
Online course communications

Drip saves me a ton of time and I've realized my investment several times over at this point.

  ### 21. Great for Automation, but Not One Offs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It has a very in-depth automation back end built in

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The wysiwyg editor could use some work and is sometimes hard to use.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They helped us reach a larger audience and capture emails via a pop-up

  ### 22. A simple or complex as you need it to be

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cam L. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love the ability to set up automations for just about anything. I push people in and out of Facebook audiences, trigger third party actions via the Zapier integration and also just use the basic campaigns and broadcast messages to build trust with my audience.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Sometimes it's hard to navigate between different parts of the app and it can be a bit slow to use because most changes involve a full page reload to refresh stuff. Not really a big deal as it's not an app you need spend long periods of time in. Once you find your way around the various parts it's not a problem at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Even though their marketing is now targetted at online store owners it's useful for almost any type of business interested in marketing automation including software and offline service providers

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Linking my marketing, my app integrations and my communications altogether.

  ### 23. Overly powerful for a small operation

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin N. | Athletic Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The sending out of mass emails is pretty easy. I like the ability to use a pop-up on our website to start a directed conversation with people newly interested in our gym.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There are a lot of options for how to sort contacts, work flows for online shopping and newsletters. Which is great if you need all of that, but makes interfacing very complicated. We're a small operation (a gym) that does all of our services in person.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

They are definitely making strides in making the interface more "normal human" friendly. When I first started I felt like I needed an engineering degree to understand the work flow process.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly using the pop-up widget for our website to make it easy for leads to reach out to us. The widget is more personalize-able than some others I have looked at.

  ### 24. Drip is awesome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love I can segment at a granular level and can create complex workflows and automations

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Not all subscribed come over at first with migration

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Set it and forget it marketing

  ### 25. My fave so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naomi A. | Business + Life Passion Coach, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I have loved almost everything about Drip so far, and this is coming from someone who has used almost all of its competitors at some stage. I feel I've finally found a home in Drip now. It's easy to use, the support team are helpful, and so far we've been able to do everything that we want!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The only thing I dislike is totally on me - I haven't had the time to research how to make the most of my Drip account. I suspect it has the power to do so much more than what I realise.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

I recommend that you give it a trial and see if it works for you!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use Drip to house and be in community with my newsletter subscribers - with weekly broadcasts and lots of freebies.

  ### 26. Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tristin E. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

We have been using Drip as an email sending service for quite some time now with great success. Over a year, we have worked with them to build campaigns and had great success.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Sometimes the bounce rate is high when I import my contacts and the email builder is a little wonky but overall not much to dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

This is a great tool to use to start building out marketing campaigns and email campaigns. When it comes down to the functionality, I would highly recommend this service.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are creating a better visualized and personalized marketing funnel. This platform tracks the amount of people visiting your website and can help guide you with analytical decisions. I often export reports so I can take a high level overview look at my current marketing campaigns.

  ### 27. An Automation Upgrade!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike W. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The tags and workflows within DRIP provide me with much more flexibility and creativity than my previous email software. The ability to integrate my lists with Facebook custom audiences is a marketing segmentation dream!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I would like to see more integrations with other software but I know this continues to improve

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

DRIP has incredibly powerful features compared to similarly priced email platforms. I've found DRIP to be much more straightforward than other platforms.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily onboard new clients and seamlessly move them from one email series (campaign) to another. As a marketer, I LOVE the fact that I can easily compose a follow up series for a client without having to learn their email software...I can simply add an account for them in DRIP!!!

  ### 28. Drip makes monitoring my list so easy!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney K. | Realtor, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like seeing where my subscribers come to me from and knowing how many (and which ones) open my emails or even clicks on a link in my emails. This helps me decide if I'm on the right track with my content.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I am struggling with the broadcasts. I'd like it to be simpler to add an image or text with each new broadcast.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Drip has been easy to use and it has helped me monitor my content to best reach my audience.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip has helped me determine if my content is hitting my market. When subscribers are opening my emails week after week, staying subscribed and when they click links within an email, Drip tells me. This has been a huge help!

  ### 29. We love it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley F. | Support Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Workflows, Automation, Campaigns, Broadcasts. If you put the right lists in, there are so many powerful ways to organize your emails.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There is a learning curve absolutely, but once you know how it works, you're golden.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

They have an excellent support staff and a flexible pricing structure. We get a lot of value for one annual fee.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing efficiently based on data has not always been our strong suit, with drip they do a lot of the work for us.

  ### 30. Easy to use marketing automation.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

- Really cool and easy to use email template builder and marketing automation.
- UI/UX compared to other products is much much better.
- Really like the event based email triggers which are very easy to setup.
- Their lead scoring feature is definitely the best.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It is a bit pricey compared to other products.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

More pricing options

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing automation.

  ### 31. Fun to use software & very good customer service

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The user interface of Drip is very nice to use and compared to other softwares, it's FUN. Intuitive user experience, good tools for automation, sending, drip campaigns and everything else a modern marketer would ever need. All wrapped into a pleasing and quick customer service, it's a perfect package.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Campaign emails are disappearing sometimes, some customers are reporting that emails don't appear in junk folder either. Though this is something that would occur pretty much in every tool, so it's not a baddie.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Do it!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of marketing actions, retention of our software and overall business model of our MVP. Personalization of user experience is a must nowadays and with Drip we're able to win that battle.

  ### 32. Best Facebook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Founder - In stealth mode, Think Tanks, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip has learned from industry pioneers and then built a superior platform with tight Facebook Integration that I have not seen on any other platform. Their user interface is so easy to use. Love that it is built on ruby on rails as this MVC framework is mature, extremely well coded and respected as one of the best in the world. Tons of mature libraries meant that Drip will be able to add features easily. They are one of the newer kids on the block meaning they have learned from and improved upon the industry pioneers products. Looking forward to seeing what they do next!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Need to see feature by feature comparison charts with competitors in order to sell my clients. Wish there were more 3rd party reviews without affiliate links so I could share them with my clients.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Highly recommended! T

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personalized customer journey and integration with AcessAlly so members feel deeply supported.

  ### 33. Should be better - too many clicks to get to information

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben W. | Communications and Project Lead , Renewables & Environment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like that the workflows and segmentation options exist and seem to function properly. I like that there are analytics available. The tagging system is flexible.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It's way too hard to get to get to your analytics results. Why for an example cant I just click on opens in a broadcast and see the list of people that opened that email. It's way too many clicks away to generate a report in the analytics.

The stylized editor does not work well. I went through various attempts to generate the results I wanted (which was pretty straightforward) I eventually abandoned it and started over with the basic editor.

Also it seems weird to me that you can update the workflow while it's in progress and have an action effect a group of people if they have already hit the exit. That exit function should not automatically. You should be able to add steps as needed and have them apply to a subset of people as they move through the flow. Basically you have to have the workflow totally finalized before turning it on or any changes you want to make just becomes a mess of new targeted broadcasts or new workflows.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's the system we are using for sending a newsletter and for a registration flow from a landing page using one of your forms. It's also the tool we are currently using to communicate with customers after they order a product.

  ### 34. Drip for small business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip is user-friendly once you get the hang of it. Using tools like tags and segments, I'm able to give my customers the information and products they want. I'm also able to track my audience through analytics and tags to see what they're interested in to develop new and better products for my audience.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It can take a few tries to get the hang of the forms/rules/workflows if you've never used them before. It would be great if you could test workflows as a demo before they go live. Or watch a bot go through the workflow at an accelerated pace so you can see if it works properly before making it live.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Leave time to learn drips systems. It's a powerful tool once you learn how to use it. But it can be complicated if you haven't used a similar platform before

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using drip to engage with my community and to help introduce and connect them to my brand. This has been my first opportunity to use a welcome sequence and it has helped me keep my list warm.

  ### 35. Undecided if I will keep using Drip

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Visual way to see workflows and easily tag subscribers. The ability to preview emails before they are sent and schedule broadcasts. Good ability to customize and segment audience. Interface made it easy to get started without a steep learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It costs 20% more than Convertkit and I don't think it's necessarily 20% better. It was also free up to 1000 email subscribers when I signed up, and then it changed to free for the first 100 only. So I ended up paying a lot sooner than I expected. I also have trouble with automations. I set up workflows so that new subscribers get a weekly newsletter tag after going through a welcome sequence, but for some reason not all my subscribers have the weekly newsletter tag and I can't figure out whether it's a glitch or if I made an error somewhere. The visual builder also needs some work. I also wish I could select an option to filter who is consistently engaged and who is not.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Compare to Convertkit before you sign up for Drip and make sure it has key features you require; otherwise there is no point in paying more.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Growing email list, segmenting audience, and track how many opens and clicks each email gets.

  ### 36. Excellent for Mailing Lists

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love the Drip flowchart system for creating email campaigns and funnels and all the options using the different segmentations.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish it were a hot tick easier to set up, I'm still struggling with the learning curve. There is just a lot one can do with this and I feel a bit overwhelmed.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

It's got a learning curve, and you'll want to research into the various was to use drip to really optimize it.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to add tags and labels to my mailing list base, and this easily allows for that and to incorporate it into your funnel.

  ### 37. A great value platform for email automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon W. | Marketing Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It's simple to use with more advanced features available if needed. The workflows and rules are intuitive and allow a huge amount of control over actions based on subscriber activity. The customer support is exceptional and a pleasure to deal with.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There's not really anything to dislike about Drip.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you get stuck, just email their support team - they're very helpful.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip allows us to automate a wide variety of emails, giving us more time to focus on nurturing leads and less time on worrying about who is receiving what emails from us.

  ### 38. Excellent Email Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip's interface is extremely user friendly; support is responsive, quick, and helpful; the Drip team demonstrates an attitude of partnership, not adversity.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I am still trying to learn all the ins and outs of setting up workflows. This is not really a critique of Drip; I just wish it was even simpler, since business seems to be complicated enough without setting up campaigns.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: when I used to send email out from my own server, I was always battling being black listed by Yahoo/Hotmail and Comcast... I love having that handled by someone else.

  ### 39. Great for medium levels of automation and organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliott P. | Paid Media Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The workflows you can create to make automation via tags is quite nice. I have a few automations that contain upwards of 5 emails to send for certain triggers.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The segments tend to take a long time to update. This can cause a backlog when you're working through lists of dozens of people and adding new tags, and having to wait for the segment to update and move the person into a different segment

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Drip to follow up with customers 1, 2, or 3 times based on customer activity. Being able to apply a tag and have an email be sent saves a lot of time.

  ### 40. Caution: They increase the prices without grandfathering current customers

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

In general terms it is a good marketing automation tool.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The technical support needs to be improved and the tool is not very intuitive. They increase the prices and do not care how many years you have as a customer. We have used the Drip service for approximately 3 years. From one day to the next they have increased (too much) the prices without respecting the original price. This company is not recommended.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing automation.

  ### 41. Gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrei R. | Growth Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The features are clear and user-friendly. The automation is easy and seamless. Integration and API also flawless. Robust tool that gets the job done.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The creative features such as e-mail builder still require a lot of work to become good. Visual builder is really limited and html imports are really buggy.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Powerfull automation and ease of use. Still lacks in creative builders. Pricing scales quite fast for e-commerces

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drips helps us automate our diverse user paths with a lot of diversity and features. Was really useful for our e-commerce.

  ### 42. Drip is Awesome!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue D. | President & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

We've now been using drip for over 3 years and won't change. it's easy, it handles any amount of landing pages and websites you can have. But the best part of drip is their workflow. You can really send people down a customized pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Nothing. It is simple and easy to use, yet has amazing functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Drip has alot of great articles to help with designing workflow. Take advantage of them.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have set up all of our prospect landing pages with drip. We don't spend much time prospecting.

  ### 43. Excellent Email Service with Great Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy C. | Software Developer, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The automation and tagging is excellent. I have one list and yet it can be segmented an almost unlimited number of ways. I know everything about a customer or potential customer based upon their history. Every action they have taken is associated with their email address so I know how to specifically target them.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There isn't a lot to dislike. Things could be a bit clearer in how they are configured but for the most part it is intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Sign up and try it out. It is excellent.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I finally have an email list that works for me. I have automations for specific trigger points, I have insight into my subscribers, and I have easy access to connect my subscribers with the content they want.

  ### 44. An intuitive tool for the digital economy business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I am not technical, but I love the ease with which I can build and test creative workflows that play a major role in our profitability. Drip is incredibly intuitive and suitable for the business mind.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Over time - since LeadPages acquired Drip, there has been an unwelcome increase in delays within the solution. Customer support is also no longer what it used to be.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of customer segmentation has helped us target customers more effectively and sell more digital products.

  ### 45. Love - And need guidance taking to next level

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Simplicity - interface (coming from aweber/activecampaign). LIke the email editor. (aweber was an abomination).

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It's probably me - but difficulty setting up more campaign/trigger flows. I've watched some of the videos, but get confused on some of the if/then flows. So the good stuff :)

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Explore the built in / premade campaign flows.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Capture, segment and campaign to list segments. Tracking web visitors to optin rates was a nice surprise. Wasn't on my radar when I signed up.

  ### 46. Straight forward Marketing Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The subscribers segmentation features are probably the most powerful and advanced in the Marketing Automation market. Also the customer support team is world class!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The workflow features need improvements. More options should be offer to start a workflow (i.e scheduling etc). Also some functions should me made clearer.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you need a simple, straight forward Marketing Automation platform go for Drip. Also, Drip's customer support team is by far the best on the market, all Marketing Automation solutions should take note...

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a Marketing Automation platform to engage and nurture our database but as a start-up we didn't have the budget to opt for one of the 'big' Marketing Automation platform.

  ### 47. Well-designed system, but didn't work too well for us

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I liked the ability to create very sophisticated automated workflows with tags and triggers without too much fussing around, although the visual language you use to create the workflows is not terribly intuitive, and my developer and I had to scrounge around for examples (which were not easy to find) and ultimately try some tests. The other operations - creating an email campaign, editing a series of emails, adding subscribers to the campaigns was all pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The biggest disappointment was the low open rate on our emails, which makes me wonder if their batch email system is really able to get past the spam filters. I don't know this is the case, but our open rates were low with all our audiences. After six months, we canceled our Drip subscription this week, and will try an alternative.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a start-up and had some decent success building a social media following and driving a decent flow to our website where they would sign up for the free service. We wanted to use Drip to share content, keep them engaged, and convert them to paying customers. It did not work out.

  ### 48. Drip is excellent email automation tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip allow me to set up email drip campaigns that we use for marketing and on-boarding scnerios. It has all the features needed in the area of analytics. They recently introduced Visual designer for emails which makes it easy to create emails without any skills in HTML

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

For me DRIP lacks an option to use different senders depending on rules etc. I would also love to drip enable copying email between campaigns and broadcasts

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Utilize "Workflows" - its a great feature once you put some effort into setting it up properly

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Marketing and CSM. We trigger broadcasts and campaigns depending on certain triggers or custom fields values from Salesforce.

  ### 49. Works well for us

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabian F. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I use drip because it is straight forward and does what I want it to do: automated Marketing emails to my customer base.

the pros:
- It works well with the rest of my marketing stack, mainly using Zapier to connect everything.
- simple UX
- good customer support
- deliverabilty: no problems

I would recommend to tool to anyone who is looking for a straight forward tool with good value for money.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Customer support is good, but could sometimes be faster (guess the timezone might be a problem here).

The form integration (e.g. using WPForms) is not als flexible as we would like it.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

automated Marketing/lifecycle emails

  ### 50. Useful and well put together email software with a few limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The interface is clean and easy to work with, lots of opportunities for tracking, tagging and automations.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Lack of drag-and-drop in automations is a huge negative - with the visual nature of the editor it really should come as standard.

Centralising the emails would also be good, being able to post banked emails in multiple automations without having to manually create a new 'copy' of the email.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Great email list host with a fair price plan and lots of features.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip runs my entire email list, and it's where I email my readers about once a week to let them know what's going on.
