The fact you are easily able to tag subscribers with interests or ass information depending on when they signed up. We use this to apply tags for our local customers who sign up at trade shows.

It's not as straight forward as I would like. Some of the ways you get to things, as well as some of the processes that have to be taken are kind of hidden within menus.

  ### 10. Powerful Email Automation with a bit of a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth S. | Blogger, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I can set up advanced email sequences and automation, and give subscribers exactly what they are looking for. I love being able to auto-tag subscribers and segment my list.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I am sure I don't even know half of what Drip can do, because there is a bit of a learning curve with this program. It took a while to get some more advanced automation set up and running smoothly, but it is worth it.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending emails and digital products to subscribers, allowing them to choose what they receive, capturing statistics about email.

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2018

  ### 12. Drip is Amazing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Len K. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like how Drip makes it easy to send email campaigns that intelligently branch based on actions and tags, which in conjunction with Zapier allows for some really sophisticated automation. We use it to schedule consultations with Appointlet, and it lets us automatically add contacts based on emails I send and then react based on the booking being made or not.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The integration with LeadPages is a bit of a jump, I'd love it if it was all in one product. No real dislikes thus far.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Definitely consider using Drip if you want to do email marketing with an easy to use UI for implementing branching and decisions based on either email actions or actions in other cloud based systems that integrate with Drip either natively or via Zapier.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to automate follow-up with inquiries that haven't yet resulted in a phone call being scheduled. Prior to using Drip, we sent an email and if a call wasn't scheduled, I might do a manual email to follow up on anything particularly interesting, but that was it.

  ### 13. Automation and laser-focused personalization has freed up more of my time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tabish B. | Manager of Marketing and Communications, Wholesale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

One of the most powerful things about Drip is the ability to tag subscribers. Coupling this with Liquid Tags, I've been able to create powerful if-then-else sequences within emails going out to a list of over 1000 subscribers.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There is no sandbox testing capabilities. Sometimes, functionality leaves a lot to be desired.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Think of your biggest problems and see if Drip can help you solve them.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Drip, I've been able to create powerful automation sequences. Powerful because I can personalize each email to each individual. Of course, this takes a little bit of planning and foresight. Drip makes it easy to execute those ideas.

  ### 14. Using drip has really helped me automate and frees up time.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like the advanced automation features.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Pricing structure and frequent down times.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

I recommend using Drip if you want to get your email marketing automated easily.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation.

  ### 15. New and easy implementation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

So far making the switch from our other vendor has been seamless.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Compared to our previous vendor so far I can't tell the company anonymous people on our site are from.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simpler, user friendly compared to our previous vendor

  ### 16. Great email marketing tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan J. P. | Lead Pastor / Church Planter, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip is simple to use for those of us not gifted with techie genetic coding. Support is wonderful too!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Setting up a seperate email address for another account was not great. But still is functional for what I need. I wish it gave better updates for when someone signed up.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Use the trial. Talk to support. Get it now!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching out to clients. Providing tools for others to succeed in their lives. Building relationships with current and future clients.

  ### 17. Drip is great, but you should know code

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love its ability to integrate with a lot of different systems.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I don't like the fact I need an API to do a lot of the integrations and I need to know code to customize.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

I recommend this product if your company is in the tech industry and have the development staff on hand to assist in creating the backend connections for API's or if you have zapier knowledge.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email automation and campaign workflows

  ### 18. Easy to use marketing automation software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timi P. | Senior Marketing Manager, Fund-Raising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Super approachable interface makes a newcomer to marketing automation feel right at home.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Creating workflows can be a bit intimidating and the Knowledge base documentation isn't as extensive as I'd like.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better, more consistent communications with our prospects and customers.

  ### 19. Amazing Product that Streamlined Our Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant T. | Marketing Manager, Site Optimization, Internet, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip has helped the MnSearch team overcome our crippling technology issues around trying to integrate email marketing, member management, events and our website. Now we're able to do so much more with our marketing in so much less time.

Also, membership has been growing each month since moving to Drip.

It's a great product that has allowed us to take the next step in automating our efforts and growing our membership base.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Like most tools, it takes a little bit to get comfortable setting up everything. No major hurdles.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Great product that seems to only be getting better.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamline email communications, improve member management and event registration. Drip has allowed us to develop an integrated process that has saved time and helped grow our membership base.

  ### 20. Easy to use for those new to marketing automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah W. | Business Operations Manager, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 14, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip was very easy to use; I am new to the field of marketing automation and the Drip interface made it very simple for me to create campaigns and visualize the workflow of my campaigns. The drag-and-drop workflow creator is a great feature which enabled us to create campaigns easily and to describe them to other team members who are also new to marketing automation.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

We would have liked more integration with ecommerce platforms, such as Stripe (what we currently use). The lack of Drip integration with Stripe meant more manual customer entry - this was not a problem at our current size, but it would be difficult to scale up as our customer base grows.

Drip only provides text-only email templates, no HTML, so we had to create our own templates from scratch, as we wanted a more complex layout than just text.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Drip is a great tool, especially for smaller business just starting out with marketing automation. If you can integrate your e-commerce platform or website/email collection method with Drip, I think this could be a great tool for larger businesses as well.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to quickly create and edit email marketing campaigns, which simplifies our marketing strategy significantly.

  ### 21. Drip is powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Todd M. | Managing Director, Investment Banking, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

There is an incredible ability to wrap drip around a companies processes.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Drip provides competitive advantage and is becoming so popular, that competitors are also beginning to use it.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Elegant solution

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Intelligent Marketing Automation

  ### 22. Useful tool, a bit complex - gets the job done well

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Investment Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like that drip creates a visual workflow and has some really sweet templates for email messaging. It has a very friendly interface that is easy to grasp even for the less technical users like myself. I think I would need more time with the tool to be able to better assess it. Although, so far so good!

It generates installation code for you, that's a definite plus!

I love that it sends from a real person - i.e. First name via Get Drip. Makes it feel less spammy than other tools that send from complicated and lengthy subdomains.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It's a little involved - i.e. I had to get the devs to install the code on our pages. . . I wasn't super fond of the fact that we couldn't integrate with our own. . . that was left to the devs though and not myself. So maybe this can be avoided-

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Has a free tier to help get you started and would be great for small businesses who can utiilze most services without having to pay for it. . . we will see how costly it gets when we get rolling with it!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to find the best tool for this still - this one is still in the running. Trying to be able to cater to separate marketing channels and automate a bunch of it. This might still be ahead of our current scope, but time with the tool and continued learning will shed light on this matter.

  ### 23. Best workflow builder in the game.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The visual workflow builder is very pretty. It makes it fun to use a marketing automation tool and build out high performing marketing funnels.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish the template builder was drag and drop and easier to tailor towards your brand identity.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Try out the free plan and give it a spin for yourself.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip gives you the ability to take an email subscriber from the first touch and nurture them through the customer journey.

  ### 24. My First Experience With Drip...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan C. | Full Stack Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2016

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love the workflow and visual campaign builder. Loved the support too. I'm not a newbie when it comes to email marketing and marketing automation software tools but at first I had some issues with the implementing proper tracking and the Javascript codes of Drip. After going back and forth with their support team, I was able to resolve the issues. They've answered all my questions quickly and helped me resolve the issues I was having. I was finally able to track visitors and get details of the actions they've taken on my website. I have integrated several 3rd party tools and the API works perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish that there was more integrations to some third party tools that I use like Thrivecart. Although Drip had Zapier integration, I can't integrate it into my shopping just yet. Hopefully this will be added soon.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

There are tons of marketing automation tools out there. But with Drip, it's a combination of a solid backing (Leadpages), affordable pricing ($1 for 100 subscribers), and easy implementation of Marketing Automation. I highly recommend Drip for marketing automation for ecommerce sites, local business and bloggers.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to send targeted and engaging messages. But the challenge is that not all subscribers are created equally. The only way to know where they are in my sales funnel is to know the "actions" and "engagement" they've taken on my website. And Drip helped me track and solved that with their email marketing automation system.

  ### 25. Good value for the money

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin K. | President, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2016

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Offers email campaign automation without lots of fancy rarely used features. Easy to set up. Reliable. Very fairly priced. Good support documentation.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The new workflow tools are difficult to set-up. The search capabilities are not easy to use. Would rather have some universal jquery search box.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Great value. Go ahead and check it out.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating the follow-up marketing campaigns for new sign-ups and trial users. Drip has allowed us to automate the process. New sign-ups automatically are subscribed to automated email marketing campaigns. Has saved us hours and hours of time each month.

  ### 26. Confusing but has potential

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The idea of campaign drop marketing is strong in principle

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The drip marketing mechanisms itself did not match up with what I wanted to do with it.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Consider more proven tools, such as InfusionSoft

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not really solved business problems (namely, bespoke drip feed campaign email marketing) in the manner we had hoped for.

  ### 27. Drip is Excellent

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2017

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Very dependable and has great templates to use with great guidance.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The program can be a little hard to learn but they have great customer service to help

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

take the time to learn how to use it properly and all the extra features it has

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent for email marketing

  ### 28. Great service, simple yet powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2016

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I've been an early beta-user and I'm very impressed how Drip was able to increase the power of its service without compromising the the ease of use over the years.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Being able to schedule a delivery to everyone at the exact moment in their timezone would be quite beneficial.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personalized drip campaigns
Segmentation

  ### 29. aWeber I'm sorry but I'll be leaving you for Drip

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2016

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The ease of use and the efficiency of automation!

I miss a simple way to have an overview of all tags (even if they're not active yet) - what they are and where they're being used.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

It's amazing what you get here. An amazing solution even for new entrepreneurs

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation as in the ability to have far more relevant and supportive communication with my subscribers.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It's really easy to use, we've set the workflows in minutes, and it's really flexible. You can adapt your campaings, set up special campaigns, etc. really quick.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Maybe a better editor for the emails, with more features.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

It's a complete, simple and easy to use software for email automation.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm doing the automation of all my emails workflow.
