Finding a automated marketing solution was a difficult task for our team. The drip solution is hands down the best. Highly recommend it!

Our automation process is now hands off. It is producing 20% better results.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gavin M. | Sales and Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2016

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love how much customization is available with Drip.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There is nothing i dislike about drip.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip allows you to create a lead funnel that can help convert trials to customers.

  ### 3. Decent but still too narrowly focused.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holden T. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It was very easy to set up and understand. The barrier to entry was less cumbersome than many of the other solutions we trialed and I imagine it would be even easier if you were looking for a drop in e-commerce solution.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It was very narrowly focused on e-commerce solutions and even though they want to grow in other areas everything seemed tied to this one core focus.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emailing our customers and drip campaigns.

  ### 4. Dedicated billing support experience with Alleli from Drip

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony B. | Growth Affiliate Marketing Lead / Co - founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like the persistence of the Drip support team, especially from Alleli. She worked with my issue with careful dedication and investigation. Her attitude in solving the problem is worth mentioning here.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The support time zone. I'm based in GMT+7, and the Drip support team seems to me in the UTC time zone, and to get a response from them, it takes a little bit of time. I wish they could have a support team in GMT time zone, so the issue will be resolved much faster.

Thank You.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing issue of my credit card and Drip auto monthly charge.

  ### 5. The best email marketing platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma B. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

There are many features that I like about this software so I will proceed to list them:
1. I can handle large data, this is very good because our company is very large and wide.
2. The interface is amazing, it also has the dark mode that I think is great.
3. I can handle it in a very easy way.
4. It is very easy to handle the part of marketing by mail through this software, it is only two simple steps.
5. The workflow is very broad.
6. There is customization, it is a feature that I love because I like to give my projects my personal touch.
7. Integration with WooCommerce, it makes my work easier.
8. I can attach photos and prices to company projects through email marketing.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The only thing I don't like about Drip is that I can't re-edit the workflows and it's not fully synced with WooCommerce.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

It is one of the best platforms I have used, it has many features that will increase the sales of your products.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The company has had many benefits thanks to Drip, with its workflow function I can keep track of the information of all clients, I also use drip to remind my work team about the company projects that we have to complete. In addition, the sale of our products has been increasing thanks to the personalized emails we send through Drip and its synchronization with Shopify.

  ### 7. Amazing Email Marketing tool for Ecommerce Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitya K. | Senior Executive : Email Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Designing an email template with drip is fantastic. We can create unique responsive HTML email templates using their Drag and Drop features. You don't need any HTML coding skills.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Drip pricings. It starts at $19 per month and goes up to $1500 for 100K subscribers. It becomes a little difficult for a small-scale business whose subscriber base is more.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you have the budget, you must go ahead with Drip. It has all the advanced features required to run an eCommerce business.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since I am not an HTML expert, but yes, I am still able to design beautiful responsive email templates using drip drag and drop features. We are using these email templates in our Email marketing campaigns. We can now easily create templates and use them in our automation programs.

  ### 8. Really easy to use and beautifully designed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy P. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The tool is easy to navigate, and you or your employees do not need to invest additional time.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I prefer to use other well-known tools which are proven and have more options for integrations with systems and tools.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avoiding a design resource with the good look of the templates inside.

  ### 10. Drip - A best tool to improve in all sense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

We are maintaining a field capacity in soil for better intake of food to crops. So Drip irrigation not only saves water but also strengthens the field capacity of soil to get better quality, better yield, better health, and so on.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There may be a possibility of clogging of drip emitters. When a customer/farmer purchase a drip system, he shall ask the manufacturer about third-party test reports, which will give you quality product if tested in standard laboratories.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

The manufacturer name is not sufficient; check third-party test reports for dripline. A drip system shall be selected based on your land topography and type of soil.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintains field capacity of the soil, Water Saving, Increase in yield, Improved quality produce, Early maturity, Saving fertilizer and Labour costs, Improved disease control, Ideally suited for challenging terrain, Saving in energy, Weed control.

  ### 11. A solid data/email marketing platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew W. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

For managing large bits of data it's nice when there is a big focus on the UI and I think Drip does a great job of having a clean modern and very functional UI. Dark mode? Yes please, not many companies will take the time to do little extra things like that but I appreciate it. Ease of setup was relatively painless. It didn't require dev work to do things how we wanted but it's gone smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

No <iframe> forms? Not much to complain about here to be honest. One thing that was very annoying is that they don't store events for recall. So in Zapier if you are trying to get data for a zap you gotta continually refresh the request and wait for that exact second that a new event happens that you are looking for. This was very painful to setup as I had to call the event hundreds of times(clicking over and over and over) til I finally got data, then it wasn't the data point I was looking for so I had to keep refreshing. Most companies that use Zapier will store events in history so you just click "get data" and it will pull the last time it happened. Not sure why Drip does it the way they do it, but that's just how it works.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

It's better than Mailchimp I think.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting data on new customer signups that we can then use to send marketing emails to as well as have nice source of truth for data on our customers.

  ### 12. All-Time Favorite Email Marketing Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mat O'Flynn, D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip makes email marketing easy with drag and drop email templates, dynamic workflows and personalization that allows you to talk to the right person a the right time. If you can think it you can build it with Drip!

I especially love their deep integration with WooCommerce which pulls my sales data and customer segments directly into Drip. It's now also a breeze to dynamically add products to emails because Drip adds their images, titles and price! Drip's use of Shopify's Liquid template language also makes personalizing emails easy and is a greta way to add dynamic content based on customer attributes.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I'd love to be able to rearrange workflows steps. It would also be super cool to see integrations with WooCommerce extensions like WooCommerce Memberships to make the ultimate Drip + WordPress + WooCommerce membership site. Right now it's hard to tell Drip the customer's membership status when it changes on the site. Looking forward to seeing what other visual email builder WooCommerce features get added!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Following up with prospects and customers is easy with Drip's rules, workflows and broadcasts. For example, I deliver custom Drip email templates via an automated workflow email that triggers after the sale of specific email templates. I also use Drip to deliver drip email courses and communicate with website members among many other tasks.

  ### 13. Excellent easy-to-use SMB email automation tool with tight shopify integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy S. | Owner & Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Email builder is excellent, automation builder is very easy to use. Segmentation tools work well. Across the board it's a very competent platform, and handles all of my various email automations smoothly with no drama (side-eye at you, SFMC). API's are easy to access for leveraging tools like Zapier to do some nutty things. Sign up forms are simple to implement, analytics are sound. I hear that the integration with FB custom audiences works well, even we don't use it. Overall impression and opinion of Drip is good, and I look forward to seeing where they take this platform in the future.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

New features are slow to roll out, everything has been getting buggier this year. There's a number of data feeds from shopify that would be useful to have. Could also use more data fields and types available in the customer object. Media management could be better, as could template / snippet management. I definitely would have preferred more tools being added to existing features rather than having SMS bolted on. The roots of this being a sales-oriented tool still show.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Excellent for a starter platform, may run out of features for more complex or advanced users.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need to send bulk and automated campaigns for our ecommerce store. We do about $1 per customer per send off a large list, so it pays for itself every day. We do abandoned card, browse abandon, special post-purchase automations for certain products, deep segmentation to avoid general discounting. We jumped over when Mailchimp got kicked off of shopify, and it's been a great tool to use as we've tripled out list in that time.

  ### 14. Good Tool -- Could improve tracking

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Once you wrap your mind around the UI design, it is a great tool. The automation for email sequence and the ability to A/B test emails is great.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Tracking - the analytics leave a lot to be desired.
While the automation feature is good, it is not user-friendly. You have to create a new automation to make changes in the sequence. If you complete too many A/B tests, it gets quite messy.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching new customers and onboarding. Allows us to scale fairly easily.

  ### 15. Excellent Automation tool for any size business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chandan S. | Automation and Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The Drag and Drop feature for building email templates is excellent as compare to other tools. we can design email templates without any coding skill. They had more than 100+ prebuild mobile responsive email templates.
It is an advance marketing automation tool where we can create customer journey in easy steps.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The only dislike about Drip is their Analytics and Report. They must introduce some advanced features to track audience activity

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

An excellent tool with all advance features for all-scale business. One should at least try drip. Excellent user interface and easy to use.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excellent Email template builder. Easy to create customer journey and sequence mail.

  ### 16. Perfect Email service for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The interface is easy to use, and the analytics are useful for our retail store. I love being able to create segments as we are creating emails, allowing me to customize to what product we are featuring in our email. It has a fantastic automatic resend feature that is just one click. And it is very compatible with Shopify! Plus the price is lower or on par with the other services we considered, when we take into account the size of our email list.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There's nothing we have been unhappy with. When I couldn't get a workflow to function, I contacted help and they showed me how to fix it immediately.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

We have tried half a dozen email services over the last five years, and Drip has been the clear winner for us. Visuals and customizations are very important, as well as being able to seamlessly manage our larger email list.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has improve our email metrics and sales. It's improved our open rate, and it integrates seamlessly with our website provider. Our welcome email series and our abandon browser series has never been so customizable.

  ### 17. One of the best ESP email services out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip has amazing functionalities, specially if you are more focused on e-commerce. The automation flow is pretty nice and easy to setup. I love the fact they also have automations. It basically saves you hundreds of dollars because you can connect apps like Facebook or Demio. Deliverability is on point.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

UX feels outdated. Sometimes it feels old and is weird, because all the UI is beautiful, even the statistic parts are good. Reports lack some more data, but all the main parts are there. Besides that, Drip is the best alternative out there to Klaviyo.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Obviously all my email needs and replacing automatic flows and some notifications on my Shopify platform. Also the automations (rules) are amazing, I use them every day and it's included in any plan.

  ### 18. Head of Customer Success

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The design is very friendly and usually intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

We have more than 2000 people and it seems to be very slow to upload just about anything. Been using it for about six months now and have not felt any updates to the product. No new features.
The workflow design is really great but can get very problematic if you edit it too much as nodes are leftover, and the flow spread over screens.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We designed a new signup flow and many email reminder sequences. Once we got it to get triggered from our CRM data, it was easy to make changes and adjustments to any flow.

  ### 19. Superb Automation and Segmentation with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anil A. | Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Automation through their Workflows and Rules and superior deliverability. Drip has super-powerful Rules feature and segments creating. Saved segments can be updated automatically based on the segment criteria. There are a ton of integrations with third-party apps. Some are native and others are via Zapier. It also integrates with Shopify and WooCommerce for e-commerce businesses. Drip Workflow includes a feature called Goals which is also very useful and robust.

Drip has recently bumped-up their Forms in a BIG way. Check them out!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Drip has almost everything for even advanced marketing automation applications. I wish Drip had date-based custom fields and conditions (like, pause/hold until x date etc.). Another feature I would like to see is being able click-hold-drag Workflow steps as well as being able to freely connect different steps in Workflows.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workflow automation saves me time. Same with integrations I use including Zapier, PayPal, Stripe. I am also using WooCommerce integration for my daughter's new small business.

  ### 20. Next level personalisation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tamás R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The visual workflow builder is one of the best I have ever seen. It is easy to use and you can get used to in in minutes.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Drip is easy to start but has a longer learning curve to master. I still didn't mastered everything that could be done with it.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you don't know something, get in touch with the support ASAP. They are friendly and can help most of your problems. You can always modify and upgrade your workflows so you can start with something small and evolve to bigger massive marketing automation later.

Search for courses about DRIP because you can get so much more out of DRIP if you know what you are doing.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Full sync between our Wordpress WooCommerce store. I can see everything from a birds-eye view and can also go deep in data and personalization if needed. We build and add more and more automations as our business grows and this can be solved with Drip without writing code or involve a developer.

  ### 21. We switched to Drip and never looked back!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The visual layout for campaigns and workflows has saved me so much time. I no longer need to draft them out in Vizio or PowerPoint—or even by hand—because I can easily draft and manipulate each workflow exactly as I need it in real time. I also appreciate the customer service team for their responsiveness and going above and beyond whenever I'm in a bind.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish the Liquid user guide had more detail and gave multiple examples for each use case because I have a hard time manipulating what I see there. I spend A LOT of time troubleshooting the code for my emails. I am not a developer but do have a deep level of understanding when it comes to Liquid, CSS, and HTML. People like me would greatly benefit from a more robust Liquid User Guide than is currently made available by Drip. Additionally, I would like the ability to export email engagement reports to a CSV file so I can track open rates, click rates, and conversion across multiple email categories and analyze trends connected to the subject lines I use.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Pull the trigger. You will thank yourself!!!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With automatic pruning and highly targeted segments, we have seen our open rates shoot past 30%! More emails are converting, too. And with automatic tagging based on email, website, and Facebook ad engagement, we're able to move people multiple sales funnels simultaneously while also minimizing the lift that would have otherwise been required using another email marketing platform.

  ### 22. Drip is great for setting up email campaigns and seeing their engaged with the website.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shayne L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Easy to manage email subscriber list and see activity

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I find the dashboard a bit confusing but is easier as time goes one

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Drip is great for setting up email broadcasts and campaigns. It is awesome to be able route subscribers to different email campaigns with the tags. I also like being able to set emails to draft mode and have someone else review it before setting it to publish. The dashboard is a bit confusing in the beginning but with practice it becomes easy. My favorite feature is actually how it creates leads for people if they interact with our website which you can adjust with the "lead score". Different things they do assigns them points. When they become a lead, it makes an activity in Pipedrive to follow up with them. Drip is a great choice for anyone who has many subscribers and different email campaigns. Another great feature is the Broadcast feature where you can write an email and send it to everyone in a list and if they do not open the email you can send it again but only to the people who have not opened it. You can check the statistics for percentage of emails opened and clicks in the email. This was you can do multiple versions of an email and can determine which version gets the best engagement. I highly recommend, but unfortunately I do not have any insight into the cost of it versus a similar product.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching customers with information about company products and industry news

  ### 23. Best email marketing system around

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon M. | Owner / President, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love how flexible drip is and simple to do segmenting. I also am a fan of getting all the tools for free until you get to 100 leads.

Basically there isn’t much that you can’t do with drip if you know what you want to do with it.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Lack of support for embedded forms. However there is the option to embed forms into a blog post for instance. But to have them look like they belong on your site (branded) you need to know css.

I know that drip has put much more effort into forms and it really shows. As a blogger this is key for getting leads to sell my blogging products.

Also, It would be great to have a code generator for this to be do onsite.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you are doing any type of e-commerce I highly suggest you look at drip as your permanent home for email marketing.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to target my customers with offers that they want rather than blasting them the same products over and over. Segmenting is made simple which is a time saver for me.

  ### 24. Solid program - easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Vice President, Sales, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love that Drip fully connects to my Shopify store. You can then segment customers based upon past purchases that allows you to easily create targeted lists to send emails. I love the work flows that allow you (to a degree) set it and forget it. Example work-flows, abandoned cart, past purchase, etc.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I have had some issues with workflows that just stop working sometimes. Usually, support has been really great (chat), but as of late, I have been forced to use email support and sometimes have had to wait a few days for a response. It would be one thing if I was supporting one account, but I support more than 10 accounts that use Drip.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you are concerned about price and have a transaction business, use the pruning feature to keep your lists clean.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer segmentation has been the biggest issue. The ability to send the right product message to the right people rather than just blast a message has improved my ROI greatly.

  ### 25. Extremely robust email marketing tool.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jillian F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The number of features offered and workflow interface in my opinion are unmatched.

The ease of navigation is great and intuitive.

The email templates are beautifully designed.

The campaign templates make new funnel creation much quicker.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Compared to similar tools, I find it to be a bit over priced. I have recommended drip to a number of people and the price has deterred many.

The Sendowl integration is extremely lacking. Many of my subscribers were getting the incorrect emails because they were not segmented properly initially because of issues with sendowl integration.

I was also charged for having people on my list that unsubscribed. As a new user, it was not initially intuitive to me that I needed to delete these people or I would be charged a higher amount.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Do a trial and make sure it's right for you, but give it time to make sure that the fact that it's a new tool isn't what you don't like about it.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The rules and workflow capabilities are amazing and really help me niche down with my list.

The tool I used before didn't have great workflow capability. This is essential for a successful sales funnel.

For example, I Drip for a fitness website where I offer both weight loss and muscle building funnels.

Without proper workflow and rules, subscribers would be getting information completely unrelated to what they want.

  ### 26. E-Commerce Just Got Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shantell S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Learning new software has its challenges but I'm happy that I chose Drip for CRM management. My store is powered by WooCommerce in a world where Shopify users have way more integration partners. Drip has created a seamless integration with WooCommerce and the setup was extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The People tab, specifically trying to get into a customer's profile or create segments isn't user friendly. Updating it quickly and learning what specific products were purchased is no easy step. I know the TAG, and Date associated with customer orders and would have to click around to find out what they purchased.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you have an e-commerce store then Drip is the only software that you should consider. Your marketing team, like mine, will try to push you towards competitors that they are comfortable with, but those solutions aren't built for e-commerce exclusively.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed more ways to filter groups of customers based on what they purchased and send emails based on those hyper-segments. I have a small product line with many options for each product and it's helpful to know exactly what customers purchased.

  ### 27. It's great! Can be improved but is still very very good

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gracielle H. | Digital Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love the integrations, especially to Facebook. It makes our targeting easier and better. I also love the automations and bulk actions. I started using Drip before their email builder so it was just texts and basic images but now their builder has a lot of options so I also love that. You now have the option to change header backgrounds even the background of the body of text which is great. You can also arrange the layout and that is very handy when you want to make your email look better. All in all a very good software

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It's a bit of a problem setting up campaigns that send on a specific date like Black Friday, Cyber Monday. I would love to have the option of setting up a campaign that sends on a specific date. Another thing that I would like is if they can make a calendar that shows when an email will get sent so we don't overlap emails that send on the same date. Also would love an option to skip a day when another email is scheduled to be sent that day.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Try it! In my experience, it is definitely better than the old version of Mailchimp. I haven't used Mailchimp in a while so I'm not sure if they improved but from my experience Drip is more intuitive and offers more value.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automations, it makes everything easy and intuitive. It's also helpful that I do not need to manually do things because Drip is integrated so well with other products that I already use like OptinMonster, Zapier, Facebook Ads and more. I realized that email marketing can be a whole lot easier with Drip. I also like how it manages my email lists, it is very comprehensive and there are a lot of options.

  ### 28. A beautiful user interface coupled with smart and easy to use features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Founder/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love the beautiful UI and how easy Drip makes things like managing workflows. I came from probably the largest email provider (that starts with a M) and thoroughly enjoy using Drip more. Even the email builder is fun and easy to use (albeit not super advanced, but that's fine!).

I love their extensive list of guides and walk through videos. There's endless ideas in there for how I can improve my email marketing and I'm only small percentage of the way through it.

The Drip product team is also super good at listening and implementing feedback, for example they added SMS marketing in 2020 and it's been super useful and fun to use. Even within a few months of the beta they had added new features like sending images/GIFs which is a big value add!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I don't love how the dashboard isn't responsive (this would be fine if they had a smartphone app but they don't). Also their customer service email reply times aren't great but when they do reply they are always super helpful.

There could be more total integrations, especially with e-commerce related tools like reviews and SMS tools.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Try out Drip today! And I'd recommend watching a lot of the guides and information available at the drip learning center.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip is really good at helping me save time with email marketing by doing it effectively and efficiently. Also they updated their pricing tier sometime earlier in 2020 and now its even more affordable.

I realize I dont know everything about email marketing and so their knowledge/learning center is priceless. I imagine most folks don't know the depths of email marketing so their extensive guides are super useful and this was a benefit I hadn't known before opening an account.

  ### 29. Drip empowered to make 1.5M in 2020

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelley M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip just works. Its so easy to get started. Drip out of the box does exactly what you'd hope out of a CRM. I sell an online course and I trigger messages based on where a user starts on my website.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish in workflows I could add specific dates for emails to get sent out instead of just delays. Like in some cases I add customers to a workflow for a live event but these customers buy it at different days so its tough to setup a delay that will time everyone perfectly. So I have to manually send out emails before scheduled classes. Other evergreen stuff it works perfect.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is so nice to be able to sort subscribers by tags. Me and my team are super specific when it comes to tags so we have accurate segments of our list. This helps with seeing how well certain campaigns are converting as well as making sure everyone is getting the correct messages.

  ### 30. Switched from Mailchimp and couldn't be happier!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love the automation and incredibly precise targeting. I've got a dozen workflows set up to handle all my onboarding, list pruning, and customer retention needs.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I'm having a hard time coming up with something to dislike. Before Drip I really didn't know what was possible. At the moment, I can't think of anything I like better on Mailchimp, my previous provider.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Might as well give it a shot! You've got a 14-day free trial to import your lists and play around with the workflows.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a recording artist keeping my fans sorted and tagged according to where they are in their customer journey. I love being able to send out promotions while excluding subscribers who already have the product(s) I'm promoting. Feels less tacky!

  ### 31. C

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carl S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

drip's functionality, the analytics and the ease of using a template

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish I was able to create sublists based on what image/link the customer clicked on.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we've been able to create more engagement with customers and track what types of emails work best.

  ### 32. Marketing from our Online Booking Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole A. | Executive Asst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love that we can automate emails to market to our current customers who book online, or even submit their email on our website! Everything just happens! They are automatically added to a workflow and we receive reports each month showing how much our online bookings are increasing! We can track our revenue generated through Drip right on our dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The only downside is that we have 2 separate monthly subscription fees: 1 for Sunstone and 1 for Drip. But it isn't enough to turn us away!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the FareHarbor integration from Sunstone Digital we have been able to set filters and flows that allow us to target and reach specific groups which we could not do previously through platforms such as MailChimp. We have also recently discovered the addition of Drip SMS, which we previously had to subscribe separately to SlickText. Looking forward to incorporating that.

  ### 33. Reasonable email marketing platform with a modern twist

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like the simplicity of drip vs mailchimp which seemed to have a more drastic learning curve

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I dislike the limitations of plans without a high monthly cost

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip is helping solve abandon cart automation problems on Shopify

  ### 34. Powerful and easy to use email marketing platform for ecommerce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love how simple and easy it is to integrate with ecommerce platforms such as shopify and then create email automations that generate revenue on autopilot. The integrations make it really easy to see how each email performed from a financial perspective, so I can replicate the types of emails that generate the most revenue.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There are some issues with cross-domain tracking and reporting, but that’s probably not an issue for most people. One of my big clients has different domains for its sub-brands, but we’ve found workarounds for this.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem I’m solving is knowing how much revenue is attributed to our email efforts versus other channels. We’re also able to increase customer lifetime value by selling more products on the backend, which is more sustainable than relying solely on front end ppc ads.

  ### 35. Powerful yet easy to use email marketing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The ease of use interface and the ability to track revenue metrics. It's super helpful to know how much of revenue is coming from email, and from which emails. The customer service team is also very helpful. I use a combination of automations and broadcast emails, and both are very easy to accomplish with drip. It's the best email platform for ecommerce.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Integration with ClickFunnels is a little wonky. Everything else is great. Integrations with Shopify are excellent.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to see how much revenue our email efforts generate, as well as how much each email generates. This allows us to repeat what works and to optimize what doesn't work so well.

  ### 36. Open ESP/ Marketing Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron M. | VP of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Able to connect Drip to other platforms to allow for more enhanced reporting, better data, and customized customer outreach.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The workflow view does not allow you to scale in/ out which requires a lot of scrolling to see larger workflows. Also when editing workflows, it's hard to tell if your changes will take effect or impact already running workflows. When you use bulk operation to add people to a workflow, the workflow does not show your the progression of people through your flow and you have to solely rely on the dashboard to understand how your workflow is tracking.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Better customer data, more segmented audiences, better targeted campaigns

  ### 37. Fast and awesome support for novice marketers!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen L. | Founder, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Their customer service is friendly and helpful. They are able to guide you through much of the needed marketing automation. The features in Drip are advanced and versatile. You can pretty much do automation. There are also plenty of marketing resources.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Initially, it may be difficult for a beginner in email marketing to use. It will take some time to get used to using all the features and understanding how it works. Some improvements can be made in the UX.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you are looking for an automation marketing for email, Drip is definitely the one you should consider. You can be a novice or an advanced marketer, Drip will do everything you want it to do once it is set up.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automated email marketing. Drip can handle almost anything that would have been in Infusionsoft.

  ### 38. Precise Irrigation System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Precision in irrigation and labor saving

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The initial cost is more which creates financial isses

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Irrigation with drip is best way to irrigate your crops

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

water saving, labour saving, minimum weed

  ### 39. I love all the options with Drip!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole Burch T. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love that I can customize so many things, including emails, forms and campaigns

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It was hard to learn at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was much smoother. I don’t see any downsides, it helps me with better time management for keeping in touch with my audience.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Go through the tutorials, and dedicate some time to get to know how it works! The customer support team is great and always willing to help, so reaching out to them is recommended!

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helped me save lots of time, and stay connected with my audience!

  ### 40. Drip eCRM consistently pairs power with simplicity to help me win at email marketing.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I love how simple it is to visually create automated workflows.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

It has been a little slow to add modern features such as a visual builder and native text messaging, but they eventually do, and they do it very well.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Whether you’re just starting your online business, or wanting a better tool for contacting customers at scale, Drip is one of the best solutions available.

I highly recommend Drip to anyone wanting to grow their business online.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip helps me connect with leads, nourish them to become customers, and then strengthen the customer relationship in an automated way.

  ### 41. Very easy to use ecommerce marketing platform but some support issues

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter C. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The UX is clean and the automation workflow is very well implemented. It's very easy to create quite complex user workflows and rules based on data points. The help documents are pretty comprehensive. The customer activity views are also nice and clear.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Overall, whilst support are friendly, we have had difficulty getting responses to enquiries and bug reports. Sometimes 5 days+. We're using Magento 2 and the integration certainly isn't bullet proof. Email editor is rather basic for larger ecommerce stores.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip is able to store a utilise lot of helpful sales and customer data, and with a primary focus on ecommerce, automation based on product interest is more effective than most platforms at this price point.

  ### 42. Excellent Segmentation And Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Excellent segmentation, tagging, workflows, and customization of individual emails. A pretty good visual builder (although I hope they continue to make improvements here).

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Would love to see them add more CRM features and add more views into the customer journey. We are considering Drip for another big project right now, and the lack of robustness in the CRM department is a sticking point.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as an automated email tool, especially around customer registrations. We are considering using it to scale a sales engine that would send around ~10,000 personalized emails a month.

  ### 43. Don't recommend due to the constant outages

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I really like the platform and find it easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Lately, I've been in contact with support once a week regarding an outage with their service. The only response I get from support is "the outage is out of our control" or "our development team is working on it".

If you check their drip status page you will see a lot of issues listed. And they don't even list all of the issues on this status page.

This software is not reliable as of November 2020. It has caused me dozens of headaches and thousands of dollars in ad spend because it just breaks on a regular basis.

Now, I'm going to have to invest so much of my time to rebuild everything under a new platform. I would not recommend their software since it is not stable. I regret using it.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

API Integration with Integromat

  ### 44. We could not meet the email marketing integration demands of our service industry without Drip

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It offers advanced functionality for ecommerce at an affordable price. Easy to use UI. Also, for those doing integrations, the ability to leverage custom fields on orders (not just on subscribers) and create custom events is HUGE. No other tool out there offers those key features- typically because their ecommerce features are after-thought bolt ons. There are a few that say they can, but after spending time in their sandbox, looking under the hood, and talking with their tech team (not sales) their functionality was indeed very limited compared to Drip. We couldn't meet our customer requirements without Drip.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

There are frequent changes to the UI - and not small ones. I'm hoping this slows down soon, as every time they do this we have to update all of our agency documentation. It'd be worth it if there was a value-add, but it all seems to be aesthetic (and it was great before the change). Also, without a large number of subscribers you have to rely on email support, which is very slow. That means our clients are calling us for Drip support issues because they can't wait a week or two for assistance. Lastly, tier one support is pretty low level, so I feel like (even with chat support and not email support) we wait extended periods of time to get answers to questions, defects, etc.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're an agency partner. We have built an integration between a large ticketing company and Drip...and we sell the integration (plus training, etc) to people who use the ticketing product. Even in the travel space (which was CRUSHED because of Covid) our clients are seeing about 15--20% of their total revenue coming from email marketing (some more, some less) because of the custom event triggers Drip allows them to leverage, browse abandonment, lead magnets (with the pop up form) and more.

  ### 45. Lightweight Marketing Automation at a Killer Price

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom O. | Founder, CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Easy to navigate UI, solid visual email builder, powerful workflow automation builder, prompt live chat service response. Supplied email builder templates are well designed and flexible to utilize for a variety of messaging styles. Continuous improvement of features and implementation of new tools.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Could provide deeper analytics about individual recipients to help sales engage more closely due to the B2B nature of our firm. Email builder needs improvement when it comes to incorporating MSO HTML formatting. Emails can look great in the builder and in Gmail, with very broken formatting when viewed in Outlook 2016+. Lacks landing page creation, so you'll need to handle that on your own CMS.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Great entry point for a new marketer looking to get a solution up and running quickly. Easy implementation, construction of opt-in forms and importation of lists. Good reputation sender with a high delivery rate, even to business customers.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us communicate with our customers and prospects in their trial period to nurture engagement. Good response so far to drip campaigns to convert demo users to paying customers. Eliminated the need to engage a high-priced solution that has way more features than our start-up needs. Drip fits the feature/budget level that a new enterprise without significant VC backing is typically looking for.

  ### 46. By far the most robust and user friendly email platform I've ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rose H. | Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Drip is the only platform that could handle the complex automated workflows I wanted to build. The UI is easy, fast, and functional. The variety of options for sorting contacts, setting up rules and triggers, and performing bulk operations is exceptional. The visual builder is better than any other that's integrated into an ESP, that I've seen, and supports conditional formatting and dynamic content. Last but not least, support from our account manager is easy to access and always extremely helpful!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The split testing feature is fairly limited - it's easy to split test subject line, send time, and "From" name, but you have to do some DIY wrangling to split test email content.

Getting support on technical issues with the API (we built a custom integration to Netsuite) was somewhat difficult and frustrating, but worked out in the end.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If there is something you want to do but you aren't sure how, ask! There are so many options and different ways do accomplish the same goal, it can be overwhelming. Our account rep has been amazingly helpful for figuring out the best way to set things up.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drip has allowed us to set up longterm nurturing campaigns that are reactive to a users actions in near realtime, and contain up-to-date and personalized information about upcoming local events, on a national level.

  ### 47. Powerful automation workflows for emails AND internal team notifications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Drip?**

Excellent ability to automatically segment users based off triggers and actions they take. We use this to notify us internally as well, with emails going to us when a user needs more engagement.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

Some of the user interface can be overwhelming, with a long learning curve.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're providing extremely relevant emails, promotions and touchpoints to our customers that we we were never able to before. This allows us to time messages for just the right time, building our open rates and click through rates. It also allows us to import unlimited custom fields, which is a major differentiator. We can upload a CSV of our customers and data to utilize in all of our campaigns, workflows, and filters. They also added WYSIWYG html email design recently, which opened a lot of doors for us to design and execute custom emails that represent our brand. Integrations with other platforms is a critical aspect of all this, and we work in tandem with lead captures that place people into the appropriate funnels. It's also great for generating evergreen lists of customers or prospects for internal touchpoints outside of email--like phonecalls or mailings that we do manually. All of this leads to hyper-personalized, relational marketing that helps us achieve our goals.

  ### 48. Slightly confusing, maybe better for product based businesses and ecommerce?

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

I like the tone of Drip, cheeky, contemporary and refreshing. The layout was also very easy to navigate, modern and fun. Overall, I like it in theory but struggled to apply its use best in practice. I love the suggested drip email sequences, wish there was more of these for different business purposes! I also liked the detailed analytics of each email. I also appreciate how you automatically updated the policy based on new laws which saved me from looking up what these legal changes mean for email marketing!

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

the terminology, for example, the difference between tags, events, flows etc. I never knew what to use when. I watched the tutorials but struggled to apply it to my business. It would have been great to have a one to one session with an expert to personalise this further. It would have been great to include some tips on increasing open rates based on googles suggestions so I can be sure it's more likely to land in someone's inbox.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

I would recommend drip to people who have a basic understanding of CRM structures and who run an eCommerce website. It is not easy for someone who is starting for the first time.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving CRM email outreach to my community. It was helpful to be able to tag users and to see how long they had been subscribed and what emails were being opened. This helped me curate the content to their needs. This is something I will always integrate into future campaigns.

  ### 49. Marketing automation in a very user friendly manner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christoffer B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

It is super user friendly and intuitive to use. It has a lot of advanced features that will help you scale your setup.
In terms of functionality by rules and automations, the sky is the limit - it can pretty much do anything you want it to.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

The visual builder is still somewhat limited in terms of customizability. It is not possible to have a multi-currency setup in one account. It lacks options to easily reuse customer information from Drip to personalize your website.

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

If you are looking for an easy to use marketing automation platform, which is easy to integrate with a number of platforms, look no further. Drip is super user friendly, intuitive and their support is awesome.
Do take into account that their support is limited to US office hours, so if you reside in Europe like us, that might be a deal-breaker.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More direct and personalized communication with our customers. The ROI from our email effort has more than tripled since we made the switch to Drip.

  ### 50. Visually appealing ESP and ECRM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Drip?**

The interface is easy to use and has enough functionality to help me get done what I need to. E-commerce automation and custom workflows are solid and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Drip?**

I wish that it was easier to customize the emails we are sending out. I know the builder is fairly intuitive and I still wish I had more control over the WYSIWYG interface

**Recommendations to others considering Drip:**

Make sure that its core functions meet your automation workflow needs and that your store easily integrates with the system. Their integration partners are serious about marketing and SEO and are headed in the right direction. Relatively new company and on the smaller side and easy to work with.

**What problems is Drip solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were solving the need to deliver timely emails with custom offers and reminders to customers who abandoned carts that they left behind and could purchase in the future. It easily integrates with our Shopify account and seamlessly pulls our product data dynamically into the autogenerated emails.
