Dreamstime is a very useful platform for both contributors and buyers because it offers a wide variety of high-quality creative content in one place. As a contributor, I like that the platform is beginner-friendly and gives photographers, designers, and digital artists a good opportunity to showcase their work to a global audience. The upload process is simple, and the marketplace includes many categories such as stock photos, vectors, illustrations, and design assets, which makes it helpful for different creative needs. I also appreciate that the platform supports independent creators and allows new contributors to grow over time. From a buyer’s perspective, Dreamstime is a good option because the library is large and diverse, making it easier to find professional visuals for marketing, social media, websites, presentations, and creative projects. One thing I dislike about Dreamstime is that recently there are a lot of AI-generated images being uploaded, which can sometimes make it harder to quickly find authentic and realistic content. I think the platform could improve this by adding stronger filtering options or better separation between AI-generated and real contributor content. I've had a subscription for a while, and I had a backlog of 137 images that I could download as we use quite a few over the chrissy period...For some reason I got locked out/sign out of my account and when I finally found thw correct password to get back in...the credited image downloads has reveretd back to 0...where have my account downloads surplus gone???? Right now, it's the ability to exclude generative AI search results from my queries, to make sure that I can provide my clients with the guarantee that no AI is being used in the commercial artwork I am creating for them. The Customer Support team have been incredibly generous in their time and responsiveness to my questions since the emergence of machine learning trained on other artists's work without their knowledge or consent, and that make me as an independent business feel secure in my choice of subscribing to Dreamstime. Dreamstime offer a wider variety of photos and illustrations. It is less focused on pictures of young and slick business people close up. Images that are too close up becomes too intimidating when enlarging. If I have needed assistance by a person, the phone call has been answered quickly. If I have sent an email query, the response has also been quick AND there has always been the option to talk to a person.
