Drata provides a constant insight into the state of your user's access requirements, automated alerting configurations, the state of their workstations etc. This frees up so many man hours for reviewing, improving or developing controls. The initial integration was easy with a dedicated project liaison and live support at any time. The automated reminders and dashboard make staying up to date with your status much easier. This streamlines the work and allows you to focus on important tasks. At a glance you can tell what evidence or policy is due for review in any period. I touch base with the portal nearly every day. **What do you dislike about Drata?** If I must choose, it is complex enough that it requires a dedicated champion/overseer. **What problems is Drata solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reminders and evidence collection and storage acting as a central repository. In addition it is also for sharing those exhibits with our auditors. Almost half the peices of evidence we normaly had to gather from different sources were delivered on the first pull from the auditors team. The out of the box integrations provide a very simplified view of where our gaps exist in infrastructure/internal tooling. As we work with our audit team for SOC and ISO, we did encounter a few elements on the controls to help indicate if something or was not complete.vThese were UX elements and our customer success manager spent the time to document and ingrst that feedback. It isn't often that you get attention from humans in today's world as everyone is trying to squeeze every penny out of every deal. You can also translate the previous sentance to, "everyone is trying to squeeze every human out of the production loop so you always get the same standard sub-par service, regardless of your actual needs". Drata is hands-on and even reviews information ahead of calls rather than showing up to calls with zero preperation or information. That is appreciated in today's impersonal world. **What do you dislike about Drata?** The pricing is my least favorite part, but a high-quality service is rarely the most expensive and if time is money, I'd buy this again and again. **What problems is Drata solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing the compliance workflow and helping to maintain those compliance levels beyond the one-time tasks. ### 21. The tracking of the controls and notifications of tasks make it much easier to keep on track and eliminate last minute scrambeling before an audit. The Drata team is very responsive to questions and guidance. **What do you dislike about Drata?** The document editor is not great. and viewing documents in pdf format cuts off tables, making the viewing of approved documents very difficult. **What problems is Drata solving and how is that benefiting you?** Drata is a very good document repository. The policy templates and the ability to import existing policies made this very efficient. **What do you dislike about Drata?** Drata is still a new service. They have developed compliance automation and automated data ingestion for a large number of SaaS providers, but still have a long liist of providers to integrate. **What problems is Drata solving and how is that benefiting you?** For SaaS native companies certified under ISO 27001 ad SOC2, Drata saves hundreds of hours preparing the Information Management systems. Creation and Editing of Policies are facilitated by the template documents provided. The service provides expert help from systems and compliance experts. Our success manager was exceptional. Elizabeth kept the goals for configuration organized for us like a project manager, she showed us tips and tricks withh the expertise of a systems admin, her recomendations and advice helped us to achive an ISO audit with No Major and No Minor findings meeting the new 2022 standard. The integration with our Auditors (A-Line) allowed Drata to host the audit and for the Auditors to use the Drata tools. This was a great time and cost savings. Risk management, Vendor management, Asset management and Tust center services that allow us to share our public facing compliance documents with current and potential customers, are all integrated into Drata. Our Mac fleet is monitored for compliance continuously. Configuration and patching tests run daily. Policy attestations are requested directly to the users when channges are made. Users know about the changes when they are completed and can read and attest directly from the service. ### 25. Very intelligently setup and the has helped simplify the actual certifications for me as I use the platform. The personnel section has really made it easy for my team to review and ensure all users are compliant at a glance. Our Customer Success Manager, Craig, is also a super star. He is incredibly knowleageable and has helped us learn the platform and become more confident in it every day. His follow through is outstanding and has helped us adopt the system and be in it every day. **What do you dislike about Drata?** The API options of Drata are improving, though at the moment some of the features I need are not yet complete or live. **What problems is Drata solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a small team and Drata is giving us more power to keep all the controls and requirements under supervision. Here's a short description of some features which made our work many orders of magnitude easier. The on-boarding experience was straightforward and intuitive. - Integration with other tools Having to export a large stack of documents, format each one and finally find a place to store them pose a significant challenged and pain point. Drata makes it easy to setup, configure and use a wide range of tools. - Infrastructure monitoring We cannot emphasize the importance of this feature enough. Drata's ability to integrate with our infrastructure components such as cloud provides, user directory etc eliminates otherwise one of most labor intensive tasks in compliance audits as well as maintaining compliance. - Document management Instead of having documents everwhere, we are able to upload, track documents to a single shared space. It also provides a rich set of features with regards to special documents which require frequent update (e.g user access audits, security review reports etc) We use Drata on almost daily basis. Whether it is onboarding a new employee, uploading quarterly security reviews or making sure our infrastructure components have not drifted away from a compliant state. Prepping for an audit can be very timeconsuming because of the large number of artificats you have to collect and log into the auditor's portal. Drata made this process much easier because much of the evidence is collected, curated (sorted and categorized) and presented to the auditor directly. For many of the items in the audit portal I simply responded "See Drata Portal" and didn't have to collect evidence on my own. Sometimes there are excpetions to the controls (eg., service accounts that aren't assigned mfa,...). I can explain these excpetions in a succinct way on Drata and the exceptions/explanations make it into the audit portal. I don't have to re-explain why things are to the auditors! Saves time during the audit. **What do you dislike about Drata?** This isn't an issue with Drata so much. I found that auditors tend to accept the findings in Drata without asking too many questions. It is comprehensive that made the qualification and audit easier for us and for the reviewer. **What do you dislike about Drata?** Sometimes there are no reg flags where some proof should be found and also sometimes there are flags just because a employe computer was not online for more than a day. There's no ability to add your own users if they don't exist in your IDP. For example a contractor that doesn't have their email address on your domain - you cannot bring them into the system. This has wasted so much time as we need to find alternative systems for things that we're already paying for as part of Drata. **What problems is Drata solving and how is that benefiting you?** ISO27001 is complicated and Drata at least makes the process easier to understand.
