Their DR setup using data guard , FSFO is one of the best which I have seen.This have very less downtime and that ensures high availability ,data protection and disaster recovery for data. Real time apply in one of the cool feature. Online redo logs help to enable the same. Rac with DR setup is one of the high available env in the industry. Oracle DRaas has similar concept as AWS cloud. They have regions, availability domains and fault domains. Also for storage similar to S3 in oracle cloud you have object storage. Combination of all these makes this product best in the industry. **What do you dislike about DRaaS for Oracle?** Cost is defenitly one negative point which I see. Another may be slight operational burden in configuration post DR.Also another thing we may see is log file sync issues. These kind of issues will be seen if you have frequent commits. This is application configuration issue as well. A really good application designer will not keep bulk commits or frequest commits. There has to a balance in between this and have to set an appropriate number. **Recommendations to others considering DRaaS for Oracle:** Oracle data guard setup is really reliable and best in the industry. **What problems is DRaaS for Oracle solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data protection and flexible setup.Oracle DRaaS setup is very seamless configuration.Really fast and almost zero downtime.Customers will not really see any issues.
