The campaign feature, when the influencers connect and authorize the platform to get more metrics from them is a great way to understand the whole campaign scenario, feed, grid, stories and others placements **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** Sometimes the influencer audience volume takes a little time to update, so there is some discrepancies between the real number and the number in the tool. The Fluency and dovetale team were working on it to improve the tool, but for some regions like Brazil we are still facing some database deficits numbers. The tool roadmap, to include more metrics from other channels like TikTok , would be a very game-changing feature and it could gave Dovetale advantage front others tools. **Recommendations to others considering Dovetale:** Inlfuencers Management Tools are very similar in the market, but none of them are totally perfect or will cover 100% of your expectations. You just need to compare its value to your needs and budget to make your choice. It helps us to better fit the influencer creative content to fits a proposed brand speech. I really enjoy the gift-giving system that is put in place. I also really appreciate their customer support. I would like to be able to approve more than one at a time. I also wish there was a way to mass email affiliates from the Dovetale platform. Also, I love the gift program that links to our Shopify account for sending out products, it makes it so easy to send out products for review or testing. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** I wish the program would automatically search out and link all of a given influencers social platforms without me having to find and add them individually. I've had influencers not want to have to link their accounts to Dovetail because they were afraid that they would lose control of their accounts so they would not join. I wish that the export function would also provide you with the URLs of the influencer's social media accounts, which would make it more useful to me. I also wish that there was a "Refresh" or "Stop" button for when you are adding new contacts. I've had one hung up in the "Adding Creator" step for a month+. I've had it happen before and I reached out to customer service (who were great) but they were not able to add that one influencer for me based on some sort of issue with their blog website. I suspect it must be the same issue here but I haven't taken the time to reach out and get them to deal with it. I wish I could just do that on my own. **Recommendations to others considering Dovetale:** Great value for the cost of the program. I would highly recommend it if you are currently using spreadsheets! **What problems is Dovetale solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using a spreadsheet to track information is tedious, I like the list functionality that means I can add an influencer to one of several lists easily. I love that you can track an influencers reach and see the changes over time. And as mentioned above I love the ability to find new influencers based on some key words. ### 5. It also helps organise everything into neat lists that I can export and send to clients. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** The discover feature would be even better if it had a gender feature. When adding creators to lists and campaigns, it often takes multiple attempts and some time before the creator is added, which can be quite time-consuming. **Recommendations to others considering Dovetale:** Definitely worth getting has decreased my time searching for influencers, lists are an amazing feature. Sit through a tutorial with Mike and you'll fall in love with Dovetale :) **What problems is Dovetale solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used google sheets before where I had to input all the data for campaigns and influencer lists. Now I have the ability to transfer all this data between lists and campaigns and also upload content straight to the campaign. It's a much easier process. ### 6. I haven't worked with another tool during my professional career that is this easy to use. Being able to set audience location, influencer ER and audience size is a standard for me when using the platform, and cuts the time it would take to search influencers on other platforms or manually, nearly in half. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** Working with campaigns and the reporting feature within campaigns can be a little confusing and doesn't support all platforms (i.e. LinkedIn) **What problems is Dovetale solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using Dovetale, we are able to confidently present diverse candidate pools to our clients for our campaigns thanks to the detailed filter options. We also like the ability to share our lists and campaigns with external parties (i.e. our clients) via a special link so they can view the high-level data. One of my other favorite things about Dovetale is the highly customizable slide layouts available to us. I also like to take a deeper dive into their audience demo location, gender, and age range. This helps when certain clients are looking for Canadian influencers with a strong Canadian following. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** I do not like the refined search capabilities when sourcing influencer locations. I've found most troubles when looking for influencers based in Atlantic Canada. The platform does not recognize those provinces. Also, I'm not too fond of the campaign sign-up forum. Almost all of my partners have had issues signing up, and often requires me to reach out to Dovetale support to solve the problem. Easy to use design. Clear data presentation. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** The searching function for discovering Youtuber is not as good as for IG. Not enough filters. For example, when I only need English speaking youtuber, it would include non-english speaking youtuber and directs me to watch the videos if I need to find out. The sorting function is quite annoying if the data range I set is broad. Hope there are more search limit I could set for Youtubers. In-platform messaging system is quite useless. I used it once, and not anymore. Task assigning, I used it once and gave up. It is too complicated. Many of my influencer are not interested in signing up and joining my campaign. I have asked a few, and only 10% agreed. Especially if they have agents, they won't do this. Sometimes it is quicker to just ask them to send me the stats of the post than asking them to sign up. I think there's a bug when it syncs stats of video posts on IG. One of my influencer (registered to the campaign), her video posts won't show up in the result page. Even if I manually search for it, it just doesn't show "video" posts. Hope this would be fixed soon. When I need a contact from Youtuber, in most of the cases, I need to go to there Youtube page and manually find their emails. Still wonder if dovetale could have "job posting" " and "open for submission" function in the future. I have difficulty to have the influencers know about brand's needs, hope the way to post about the needs could be improved. I love how casting website handles this part, not sure if dovetale could incorporate similar kind of "job/gig posting and sharing" function. **What problems is Dovetale solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used it mainly to find influencers. It provides different combinations of stats which is good. I used the result to have my client to choose the influencers they want to work with. It's been ok for confirming around 5-6 influencers per month. But my client wants me to confirm around 20 influencers per month in the future. Their team has been very flexible and open to feedback on future enhancements. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** There are some inherent hurdles to having influencers have to 'sign up' to be a part of the platform, but the advantages of collecting real-data from social accounts outweighs the negatives. **What problems is Dovetale solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowing the impact that our influencers and partners are making for us as a brand. ### 34. It will make projects 10x easier!! I also love being able to build out different lists and campaigns. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** As much as I love the reporting I wish there was a better way to share the beautiful reports with clients instead of the busy excel option. I also dislike how lots of influencers I have interest in aren't in the system and that it takes time to see their info. I would also love to see analytics on all the followers instead of the engaged ones. **Recommendations to others considering Dovetale:** It helps organize your projects! No matter what time of day, someone can help me through questions I have and it is greatly appreciated. The reporting system is killer and breaks down the nitty gritty that used to take ages to do. Now I can deliver a professional and beautiful recap presentation in a matter of hours versus days. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** Not all influencers we search for are found in the software. The search function does not search as widely as we would like. These influencers are already an organic fit, plus I am able to narrow down my selection based on my target audience and reach. **What do you dislike about Dovetale?** Given I'd like influencer content on blogs as well, I find it challenging at times to locate the right talent for all parts of my campaign activation. Social media is a fantastic way to engage with a large audience, however if I'm looking to drive sales (which many brands are), blogs are a necessity to the success of the campaign. **What problems is Dovetale solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm trying to find the right tools to locate and cast new influencers. I had not yet explored any campaign management features.
