## dotCover Reviews
  ### 1. Over all good code testing and coverage tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rao T. | DotNet Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2019

**What do you like best about dotCover?**

DotCover is shown al parts of the code were called during the session and which parts were not reached.

**What do you dislike about dotCover?**

testing from the time I m using I can't see any dislike

**Recommendations to others considering dotCover:**

many times I recommended friends (of my fields) and other office colleagues because for dotCover can figure out on the fly which unit tests are affected by your latest code changes, and automatically re-runs the affected tests for you and the continuous testing mode can be switched on for any unit test session: this way you can choose which tests you want to run continuously and which to run the traditional way.

**What problems is dotCover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The first thing I noticed was an extra “Cover with dotCover” item in the ReSharper test menu (triggered from the yellow and green ball things).

  ### 2. An excelent tool fo every .net developer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about dotCover?**

As a developer, it is very difficult to keep track of your test coverage. This is especially true when you are working with old or legacy codebases. This tool allows you to forget about it, and have all the information you need at a glance

**What do you dislike about dotCover?**

There are almost no bad points, but I can mention that installing and using this tool along with Microsoft's Visual Studio will make everything a little bit slower. This is true for any VS plugin, though

**What problems is dotCover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't want the hassle to check if I'm covering all the codebase with tests, so that's the main point of using this plugin.
The test runner is also nicer than the one you will get with VS by default

  ### 3. code testing and coverage tool review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rao Tahir S. | Senior Team Lead, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about dotCover?**

DotCover is shown all parts of the code were called during the session and which parts were not reached. its also shows the possible memory leaks in the code that's why I like all feature of DotCover it's very helpful and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about dotCover?**

In price its little bit high in working and testing from the time I m using I can't see any dislike in DotCover but I m still exploring DotCover if I see any dislike in a feature I mention in comments.

**Recommendations to others considering dotCover:**

DotCover is a great help in writing tests and can strongly boost a developer’s productivity. that's why strongly recommended DotCover to my friends (of my fields) and other office colleagues

**What problems is dotCover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integration with Visual Studio (and with ReSharper) was excellent. The first thing I noticed was an extra “Cover with dotCover” item in the ReSharper test menu (triggered from the yellow and green ball things). I clicked it, and it ran my tests, bringing up the familiar Unit Test results window.

dotCover shows what parts of the code were called during the session and which parts were not reached this is a very useful feature for better code testing and also identifies the possible memory leaks in the code, I really like the feature called continuous testing mode which can figure out on-the-fly which unit tests are affected by your latest code changes, and automatically re-runs the affected tests for you

  ### 6. Another great release by Jetbrains!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan F. | Software Developer, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about dotCover?**

- Integration with Visual Studio and VSCode
- Running unit tests and understanding your code coverage was very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about dotCover?**

- Not sure if integration tests were supported, and if they were, I wasn't sure how to use them

**Recommendations to others considering dotCover:**

- Consider using integrations native to Visual Studio. dotCover might be a hit or miss - I found the integration pretty seamless, but it required an extra step for me.

**What problems is dotCover solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Catching bugs prior to release. I have caught several edge cases that would have been missed if I didn't use a code coverage tool.

Incredibly efficient program. From project conception to design. Many features save days if not weeks
