What do you like best about dotConnect for Oracle?

The ability to sync db changes down to entity framework models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about dotConnect for Oracle?

I need more control over data types. For example, we have a number of 1 digit database columns and they automatically get converted into boolean during sync. I know there is a way to prevent that, i just have not found it yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worry-free way to connect to Oracle from .NET"
5/5
What do you like best about dotConnect for Oracle?

I have worked in .NET development for about a decade, and frequently connect to Oracle databases. The drivers Oracle provides are very problematic, and prone to connection error and corruption. Whenever using the Oracle-provided drivers, my teams have struggled regularly with the whole Schema becoming invalidated, failure to connect, and other issues. With Devart-it always "just works". The ability to do a direct connection is invaluable. I literally have never had an issue in connecting or with the schema failing to build or any other issue. Nothing, it is a great product. No drawbacks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
