There's no more hassle chasing money orders or cash. Everything is done through the platform. The next best thing is the accounting feature. If you've used QuickBooks before this is very similar. Also the customer service has been superb. Whenever I have any issues or I'm confused about some thing, my account manager Peter is always there for a phone call or even a quick zoom training. I've been able to grow my property managing business from 0 to 12 doors with ease. I do not fix anything or had the capacity to do so. I also was an owner of a business separate from real estate investment. Before Doorloop, I was keeping track of payments in my head. I would sometimes forget to charge a late fee. I would forget about leases and renewals. I would also be handling payments on my own, and coordinating maintenance. I was wanting scale and buy more properties, but I could no longer handle my other business and adding more on to my plate. I bought DoorLoop and automatically I paid for the service by picking up the late fees. The maintenance requests are going directly to the Vendors that are responsible. I cut my work in half and allowed me to work on my business and not in it. **What do you dislike about DoorLoop?** Doorloop has integrations with Quckbooks, but it is a little clunky on both sides. **Recommendations to others considering DoorLoop:** If you want to manage by pen and paper, you can or you can just sign-up. The training and onbording process went much smoother than expected, and the team has always been there to help with any questions we have (and we have a lot). **What do you dislike about DoorLoop?** Nothing so far, but I've only been using it for a few months so it's possible something may come up in the future. **Recommendations to others considering DoorLoop:** Don't take so long to make your decision as I did. Just try out any system as long as you have a free trial or guarantee and can get out if it doesn't work well. I delayed my decision for too long and could've been more organized a long time ago. **What problems is DoorLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most important problem has been collecting rent from our tenants. Even though we don't have many rentals and are a relatively small portfolio, it's still always a hassle following up with tenants and waiting on checks. Now everything is setup through credit card and ACH which has made both our and the tenants lives much easier. ### 36. Everyone is able to view anything needed without having to VPN into our remote servers that used to crash on a monthly basis. It's also saved us a considerable amount of money on server maintenance alone. I had the privilege of being an early-access user, which gave me a chance to get familiar with the software before it was publicly available. From a landlord perspective, the portal has greatly improved my communication and allows me to easily track maintenance requests submitted by my tenants. I'm excited to grow with the product and already see huge benefits implementing this into my business. **What do you dislike about DoorLoop?** There are a few small features I am missing. While not deal-breakers, they would be nice to have. This allows us to pay 1 vendor for multiple properties -- something QBO did not allow us to do. The process to pay a vendor to do work across our different properties was so tedious and extensive, it would take our staff a full day. With DoorLoop, this task time is cut by 90%! We still use Quickbooks for our company accounting but no longer for property accounting. We had many requests that were going unread, or unfixed, and it was causing many issues internally and externally. After putting the right systems and processes in place, everything has changed. Nothing is going unread anymore, and we are 100% on top of every maintenance request and every contractor. **What do you dislike about DoorLoop?** We haven't done check printing yet, so we can't comment if that works as well as the rest of the app. **What problems is DoorLoop solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the problem of communication.
