I love that I can use my boss's calendar to schedule a doodle. It saves me so much time because he has a busy calendar. It has really come in handy since COVID 19 when scheduling ZOOM or Google G-Suite calls. His calendar is always full, and changes daily. I really hate waiting for a long time and still no one fills in my Doodle. I have met such situation for many times and have also considered the reason behind it. This usually happens for "busy" participants. Unfortunately, it is usually the case that you are eager to resolve as well. Given the feature that you have to determine the candidate time slots in advance, if you are too conservative, which means you create just few time slots, then the participants may not be able to pick even one available slot. Also, it is harder to find an overlap. On the other hand, if you are aggressive, say, propose tons of time slots, the participants may just refuse to fill in your Doodle. Furthermore, marking a time slot as available is somewhat a "promise" to you that he/she could be available at that time. Therefore, people generally tend to not fill in too many available slots, simply because they don't want you to "occupy" all their free time, before you make the final decision. Through this software I am capable of getting rid f excessive notifications and alerts, as Doodle organize them very effectively and categorize them as well due to which I never stuck in bulk of notifications. It has provided me with a private calendar which keeps me organize about my schedule. Couple of times I have faced issues about the editing of the time block, it is very easy to set up the time frame but to make changes is very difficult. Moreover it is expensive software. Ease of use, simple sharing. It's very easy to set up campaigns, and extremely easy to share links with multiple people. I like the fact you can quickly set up multiple polls or date selections. Most people who use the polls or surveys find it fairly simple to use and I tend to get responses back quickly and have always met deadlines for setting up meetings. The display of results is convoluted, ugly. If you don't pay for the premium account, the barrage of ads is really distracting and downright spammy looking. I bought the premium version and am much happier with it and don't feel like I'm overwhelming the users with unnecessary information. I'm tired of asking groups of people when they're free so I can schedule meetings. This platform (both free and paid) makes it easy to find consensus. It's a pity that calendaring services like Google or Microsoft don't offer aa feature like what Doodle does (of course, internally, if you can view your colleague's calendars, you can use a "find a time" tool, but if you're working across teams/organizations, or people don't have all of their agendas in one calendar, you're not getting an accurate reading to begin with, and you're back to square one.) Sometimes the interface isn't 100% clear on what actions are going to take place (i.e., the interface could use some language tweaks or be more explicit in lieu of being overly concise). Also, and this is not Doodle's problem: the participants might overlook/ignore notifications from the platform, making the entire exercise futile. Great for everyone to add their availability and find the best time to schedule events, especially across multiple time zones. Doodle helps select the best time and allows you to add custom time slots of varying length for people to add their availability, which makes scheduling much easier. The administrator can also see the available times people select in real-time and see who has replied and who has not, which is very helpful for scheduling. I dislike that users often have to manually enter their availability, it would be great if users could sync or upload their calendar availability from outlook, icalendar, or google calendar instead to make the work more effortless. The UI can also be challenging on certain browsers and there's not an easy way to save if you are making a complicated set of available times, so it is important to complete before your session times out.
