Doodle allows you to specify specific dates and times and have a group of people choose the best times for them. Whichever date has everyone or most people available is the most logical date for a meeting. I like that the platform automatically converts the times depending on your time zone because most of the people I coordinate with are in 4 times zones, and time one conversion is the #1 error for missing meetings. I want more ways to push the notifications to text, the Doodle app, or other ways to get people to see the invite. Sometimes I have people who never respond to the email, and then it is pointless. Doodle is a very straightforward (in a good way) communications tool that serves a variety of purposes like messaging and even surveying. Sometimes I feel as if this platform may be limited in its scope or bandwidth. However, on the other hand, I also sometimes feel like the opposite is true, especially when I consider other platforms entirely and their respective product offerings, like Surveymonkey, and how they excel at essentially one feature. It is a great way to schedule meetings and events when working with difficult schedules. What do you dislike about Doodle? I am not sure if it sends reminders to the attendees that they need to give their availability if they have not yet responded. I enjoy that it is fairly user friendly when trying to create a new poll or system for getting a range of responses from a range of people. I do not like they confusing web browser version of this software as it could be more legible and user friendly in appearance. Ranging from don't to page layout. I think there's still a learning curve for most people. Many people aren't used to using it, so they don't always respond. And you have to go back in and send a reminder email. If you have many available dates and times, the current scrolling features may become less of a scrolling feature (and more of a breaking out of the text to accommodate). I can schedule my meeting, or other events, simply by typing the candidate time slots, shooting emails to the participates, and waiting for their response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Doodle? I really hate waiting for a long time and still no one fills in my Doodle. I have met such situation for many times and have also considered the reason behind it. This usually happens for "busy" participants. Unfortunately, it is usually the case that you are eager to resolve as well. Given the feature that you have to determine the candidate time slots in advance, if you are too conservative, which means you create just few time slots, then the participants may not be able to pick even one available slot. Also, it is harder to find an overlap. On the other hand, if you are aggressive, say, propose tons of time slots, the participants may just refuse to fill in your Doodle. Furthermore, marking a time slot as available is somewhat a "promise" to you that he/she could be available at that time. Therefore, people generally tend to not fill in too many available slots, simply because they don't want you to "occupy" all their free time, before you make the final decision. Personally, I think this is a huge problem of Doodle but to be honest, I have no idea to improve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Doodle: Whether Doodle is easy to use or not highly depends on your meeting participants. Many people are not willing to fill in Doodle and are still more used to exchange emails for scheduling an event. Through this software I am capable of getting rid f excessive notifications and alerts, as Doodle organize them very effectively and categorize them as well due to which I never stuck in bulk of notifications. It has provided me with a private calendar which keeps me organize about my schedule.
