There’s very little we dislike about DonorPerfect. The only aspect we would consider changing is the peer-to-peer fundraising pages, but aside from that, we’re quite satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Donor Perfect has lots of features that nonprofits can make use of. It's a full CRM and donation platform, and syncs reasonably well with other platforms such as Constant Contact. We use it multiple times a week to enter donor interactions and offline donations. It's not hard to use, but it is not as user-friendly as other systems, such as FundraiseUp or Keela. DonorPerfect is an old system, creating forms is a chore that takes a long time and they don't look good without a significant amount of effort, embedding forms on a website also does not look very good which can impact a donors decision to give. It was very difficult to learn how to make the reports I need because You have the report center, financial reports and so on and then you have the export to listing option. There are too many avenue to try to figure out what you need to do. And if you run a report for a certain criteria and then your co-worker runs a report for the same thing but by choosing a different process, you get completely different numbers. The ability to enter data is easy. I like that you can use the search bar to enter just a small piece of information to find the records you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are too many places to enter data. To keep information consistent, all users should enter data the same way, and unless an organization makes strict guidelines for how they want the data entered, it can be very easily entered inconsistently. I also do not like the inability to link records as spouses and/or households. My Executive Director is very focused on relationship building, and not being able to tie records together to see complete giving for a household/couple and/or through trusts vs. personal giving can get tricky. There are also too many ways to pull reports and manipulate data. After 4 years of working with Donor Perfect, I'm becoming rather comfortable, but it has taken that long to build a lot of confidence with pulling/building reports to meet my organization's needs. Even though the screens can be customized, you cannot fully integrate those changes with the forms. The forms are really not as user friendly as they could be.
