We require bilingual platforms. Online forms require a significant amount of manipulation, and web services aren't an option as they are only English. Easy and quick to log in, and the system is VERY reliable. Our previous database had frequent crashes and general instability--DonorPerfect is solid as a rock. We love the ease of reporting. Our annual audit season used to be a nightmare, because wringing reports out of the old database was always infinitely more fraught than it needed to be. DonorPerfect's field descriptions are accurate, AND the connection doesn't crash, AND it's easy-peasy to adjust output. The existing fields are well thought-out, and it's very easy to customize as needed. The support line is excellent, friendly, patient, prompt. The mobile app is very solid, and improves all the time. We were switching from a complete mess of a database; there were some legacy codes that weren't well-organized. It handles all donors, donations, types of gifts, campaigns, and data. It can be configured to send out receipts and fundraising letters to individual client needs. It is great for small nonprofits up to the largest organizations. The program is the best of any programs on the market. If you want to do something, there is a way. The flexibility and ease of use are great. The program is easy and well laid out. It is user friendly and intuitive. The results are professional and timely. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** There are so many options for different projects, but that is what makes DonorPerfect so awesome. The sky is the limit for my clients. DonorPerfect requires some upfront learning. With the technology these days there is so much more to the tools than we realize. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** Little tiny thing. Sometimes out of the habit, when I am done with my tasks, I simply close the window. But this does not log me out automatically. Therefore if I want to go back or my colleague needs to log in. it takes more than one try. closed window should be automatic log out. Still many thing to learn. As a lower-level and newer staff member, I was able to on-board Donor Perfect with very few complications from the software side of things. It's easy to manipulate data throughout the system and the various screens and processes are extremely user-friendly. My top two favorite things about donor perfect are (1) the level of integration between Ready Set Auction and Constant Contact and (2) the ability to present new ideas and have them up voted by other users from different organizations. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** It's a very robust system, and we're a small organization. Being the only person that is fully trained in Donor Perfect it can be an overwhelming responsibility at times. While I really like that ideas can be presented and supported by community members, it would be nice to see some of the ideas get put in action more quickly. **Recommendations to others considering DonorPerfect:** You won't regret it! :) **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before donor perfect, are donor data existed everywhere. There are folders upon folders with hundreds of spreadsheets that have a ton of different information. Donor Perfect has allowed us to consolidate information to one place where data can be updated. I really enjoy creating our weblink, I find the system extremely easy to use. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** I find the report tab sometimes hard to use and complicated, I find it could be much for effective. I find the donor links could be much more evident and easier to find. We have many doors who give personally as well as from their companies and I find myself lost a lot of the time. I think it should be more evident that company and personal are linked together. There are so many features that we don't even use, so that can be a little much. The previews often have odd spacing that I can’t see in the actual template. I also wish there was a better way to set up email reminders. **Recommendations to others considering DonorPerfect:** This is a great option for a small organization who does not currently use a CRM. Affordable, great support agents, and lots of helpful articles to learn how to properly use the system. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Able to record special notes for specific donors. I was able to export all of our data into Excel, fix all of the errors and import that information back by matching fields with DonorPerfect. It allowed me to correct mailing address errors for all records in one document rather than having to go into each individual record. ### 26. Their team also is available via phone to troubleshoot with you if you have specific questions you need answered, and they are flexible with building out your database to accommodate your individual needs. **What do you dislike about DonorPerfect?** Sometimes the platform is not easy and the fields are named things that are hard to easily understand. Their reporting feature is also confusing and involves a LOT of steps; just seems like they could find ways to simplify the way reports are pulled through the online version. **Recommendations to others considering DonorPerfect:** It's a good database for a reasonable price, but you should be aware that means some features will be lacking or not as easy to use as a more expensive solution. I don't necessarily have any PROBLEMS with Donor Perfect, but I do think they would benefit from reading and implementing feedback from their customers. Specifically, making it easier to customize fields within Donor Perfect so the data isn't so cumbersome to enter. They would also greatly benefit from streamline their reporting feature. Having to create filters and custom combo filters is too complicated. A drag and drop feature for the filters directly within the report export would make things much easier and less time consuming for users. **What problems is DonorPerfect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Donor Perfect was a good first database as I started tracking donor information, but it would be great if they made features that made finding engaged donors easier. We have an annual auction, and so use Ready Set Auction, which is supposed to work well with Donor Perfect, but getting the two to share information has been nearly impossible. **Recommendations to others considering DonorPerfect:** If you are a small-medium sized non-profit that doesn't need all the analytics, AI, or custom integration bells and whistles of a more advanced CRM, DP is a really great option for a reasonable cost.
