In addition, they have an entire support team to help you trouble-shoot if necessary. This sometimes causes issues for donors who would prefer to use just one email address for all family/team members. I have had to reach out to HQ numerous times to fix this issue and it is really frustrating!! (FYI This even happens when a participant has already participated in the previous year's event in my location!!) Unable to move donations if they are from a FB campaign (I need to delete a team member but it won't allow me to since they have FB donations which can not be moved so it does not reflect the correct number of participants or the event.) I have had so many wonderful and prompt responses and issues are easily resolved. Of note, I even remember the customer service representative Carmen because of how overly friendly, helpful, and how quickly she was able to outsource, resolve, and follow up on my issue. The team at DonorDrive is helpful and quick to resolve any issues that pop up, even if the issue was created unintentionally by user error. I appreciate that they are willing to hear suggestions from administrators and end users about what features they would like to see in upcoming releases. Fundraising pages are able to be customized quickly and easily. The donor experience is simple. In a nutshell, DonorDrive gets out of our participants way. Participants are able to share why they are passionate about fundraising for our organization without technology being a pain point or a barrier to success. **What do you dislike about Bonterra DonorDrive?** There are certain things I wish the end user could edit on their own, the way we manage events I have to reset the passwords of every admin user who ever forgets their password. I'm sure those settings were set by us, that's just the biggest time suck. **What problems is Bonterra DonorDrive solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorDrive makes it easy to aggregate data across multiple events. It has a user friendly end participant experience. I have realized the ability to mass communicate with event participants through scheduled and triggered notifications to keep in close contact with our constituents without having to manage another third party communication platform. With other platforms I've seen issues with transactions being slow or blocked completely and DonorDrive doesn't have those issues which helps end users feel reassured that they will receive donations when their donors intend them too. All of your data is right in one place, it's so nice to be able to log on and know that I can pull reports that will tell me anything and everything I want to know about what's happening financially with HuskyTHON (my fundraiser). Additionally, the ability to edit, move, and delete transactions with one click is huge, as many of our donors and participants can make mistakes when entering money. **What do you dislike about Bonterra DonorDrive?** The only thing I have found frustrating about donor drive in my time using it for HuskyTHON is the semi frequent blackouts or crashes. There are many times that I cannot get on donor drive, and neither can our participants. This can be costly, as someone who may be sitting down to donate cannot and then we lose a potential donor and some money for our cause. **Recommendations to others considering Bonterra DonorDrive:** If you want an easy to use, everything you need in one place, reliable software, choose donor drive. I love the easy exporting of data functionality to multiple applications ( I always used excel), but also the organization and interactivity with your data on the site. As a person that is experienced using Tableau and Power BI, I found the donor drive reporting to be very dated, although it got the job done. I was able to get my BI team to pull the data directly into our data warehouse on a daily basis so I can create reports myself using our tools. Donor Drive has taken all the feedback if there is a minor issue and changed it immediately. On our website, Canadian donors can choose CAD to pay with; however, many of them send us tickets that show they paid in United States dollars, which means they paid more money in CAD then they originally wanted and usually need refunds of a few bucks here and there. There are many issues for Canadian donors. I have had to create some work arounds because the way the system is built does not exactly correspond to our way of doing things.
