The acquisition has seemed to slow down the roadmap quite a bit. It also seems like there might be more bureaucracy going on, which feels less focused on customers. There's still a number of features for individual giving forms and events that we'd love to see like more flexible layouts, upgrades to placeholders, sponsorship sales, and improvements to reporting. There also have not been any AI related upgrades, and I'd like to see this to ensure that the product isn't falling behind. There also seems to be less support coverage on chat, which is a bummer. My role has recently shifted and I will be using DonorDrive in new and more ways than in the past, so while I'm not sure what new features have been implemented since Bonterra, I'm eager to find out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Donor Drive is easy navigate and provides real time insights to the upcoming events and participants that have registered. It makes reaching out to constituents simple and I can pull results quickly. I also enjoy the ability to sort the results by date or donation amount. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish there was a way to pull reports or download a list of participants and their donations into an excel or easy to read spreadsheet. While Donor Drive has been a great tool for reaching out to our constituents, this would go a step further and make it even quicker and more simple to track outreach. I'm using DonorDrive in the context of organizing a Mini-THON event for my high school. As such, there is a mix of:

-Adults using it in an advisory/administrative role.

-Student officers using it in a leadership position.

-Student participants using it as a means to be part of the event.

These are three widely different applications and yet the software seems to have come easily to all three groups. I enjoy how powerful it is, allowing me to export exactly the data I want with custom formatting. My students are able to provide troubleshooting for their peers without resorting to contacting me every time, and the normal users (event participants) are registering and creating teams with ease. Minor, but I found I had to adjust a bit to some terminology. I had to learn what "Event Insights" meant and how that might be different from "Control Panel," for example. Every new piece of software has a learning curve, though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DonorDrive has been so simple to use which has been the most helpful aspect!! Being President of my organization means that I have to make sure all of my members get onto DonorDrive including our alumni. However, with DonorDrive it takes me no time at all to get everyone on! I’m not sure if this is a DonorDrive issue or an issue related to my fundraiser but I dislike how my DonorDrive link will stop working after the fundraising period is over. I’d like to go in and still see my account but I’m not able to do so. Again, this could definitely just be because of the guidelines my fundraiser has! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple templates to work with. A lot of the functionality works seamlessly as well. The knowledge base and customer support is also very easy to interact with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having things be simple has a natural downside. The downside is that is there is less customization in design to go deeper (using code to adjust the templates). Also, custom fields on forms are not completely fleshed out. For example, after creating a form for donation and registrations for constituents to complete there's no way to bulk import these answers as an admin. There's more smaller situations like these. It is way easier than the platform we were using before (Convio). The report section is tricky to learn but once you get the hang of it, super simple and sleek to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that DonorDrive is, for the most part, a simple to use fundraising platform. I like that data can be tracked regarding how funds are raised and by whom. It is also a useful tool to lead a team of fundraisers. I have not had to use customer support thus far and have been using it for a few years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do wish it were a bit easier to manage a team. The dashboard for the leader of an organization can be a bit confusing for an individual using it for the first time. I feel it could be organized a bit better and more streamlined throughout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very easy to have high school students register for our event. We can see how many have registered and how much we have raised. I also like that you can see a list of all the students registered which we print out as our check-in list at the event. I also like that we do not have to actually handle the money. Finally, I like that we can see the stats from prior years that we have used this for our event linked to PDM (Pitt Dance Marathon). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finding simple data is incredibly easy and helps inform us all when making quick decisions, especially on critical fundraising days. In addition to the quick stats that can easily be seen on an event or donor dashboard, more detailed reports can be pulled, which has proven to be very valuable as we analyze data year-over-year to inform our fundraising strategy. Teaching students to use it is also very straightforward - it can be implemented and integrated among student organizations easily.
