Thankfully I found DonorDock because I didn't realize that I also needed a donation page. Having both of those integrated together is a game-changer. The user interface is easy to use and professionally designed for our organization and the donation page is the same for our donors. We've had personalized service from the customer service team even though we're only using the free level currently. When the time is right we will move to the paid service with Donor Dock because if their free service is this great I know the paid version will be stellar. **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** I had to think hard here, but maybe if there is a downside to DonorDock it's that it doesn't have integrations into other apps we use like Asana to help maximize our productivity. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having donor information all unorganized and all over the place definitely wastes my time and causes frustration. One thing we did have to invest in a different system for was creating raffles but with Donordock's integration feature we are easily able to pull that information in. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our organization did not have a CRM prior to Donordock but had everything in excel spreadsheets. I was able to cancel our constant contact subscription and payment processor and streamline everything into Donordock which uses Stripe. This has saved our Non-Profit a lot of money and has offered better ways to engage with our donors than our previous CRM which didn't even recognize if we had a new donor. **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** I dislike the profile page available to our donors. I wish Donordock had a login page for all donors, not just monthly donors, where they could have their payment information memorized, accessible to change, and contribution statements to view. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Donordock is solving our donor engagement needs and minimizing the amount of importing and exporting we used to do. I love Donordocks "Action Board" which notifies me of new donors, birthdays, major gifts, and more. There are many opportunities for interacting with staff to learn more about the software, receive support, and provide feedback--including an idea board where users can add suggestions for new features (that don't seem to just float around in cyberspace with no one reading them!). This is unique in this space, in my experience. As a relatively new company, they are constantly improving and adding new features. Even in my time with them (under a year), we've seen capabilities added that are real game-changers. The donor management system and online giving technology are modern and easy to use, and we've also been able to discontinue our Mailchimp subscription and use DonorDock's email marketing platform instead, saving us a lot of money. Some of the tracking/analysis is more limited, but given the size of our organization, this isn't a major issue for us (and they are looking into offering more here in the future). On the design end, I find DonorDock easier to use than Mailchimp, and the finished emails look just as good--if not better. Plus, the annual cost is great for a small nonprofit with a limited budget! **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** As I mentioned, DonorDock is a small and relatively new company compared to some of the bigger and more well-known fundraising and donor management software options out there. So, there are still some limitations with the technology that a larger, more established company might be able to offer. That said, they are constantly adding more features and making tweaks to existing features. I haven't found there to be anything critical that I wish I could do within DonorDock but can't. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** We switched to DonorDock from a larger company that was 1) expensive and 2) seemed out of date with our needs and offered really inconsistent and disappointing customer support. All of this has been improved by switching to DonorDock. Not only is their interface very intuitive and doesn't need excess training, but they are consistently making great improvements (using feedback from the community), and their service level is unmatched. Ultimately, it does everything we need it to in a simple solution for a great price. I have encouraged many to make the switch. **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** DonorDock does have limitations on customization. Everything that we need from the tool is there, but if you get very granular with your donor information points, there may be missing areas. You can add different custom options to support these needs, but it may become excessive if you do it a lot. I would also like better automated workflows, but I have accomplished what I need by using third-party-linked solutions. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping all donor records accurate allowing us to properly capture the full story of a donor. This becomes helpful in donor meetings. They care deeply about their clients (both paid and free users). Getting started is so simple, and all of my clients can tell that Donor Dock continues to improve and add new features to enhance your ability to communicate with your donor database. **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** Some of the email functions could be improved, such as how images can be added to an email and how they interact with the text. It can be discouraging to be unable to identify which links folks clicked in an email sent out. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being able to have one place for all of our organization members and donors is so great! Everything stays up to date together instead of having multiple streams to communicate with folks. I was able to start managing and tracking my donors almost immediately. DonorDock is also constantly updating and making improvements to the software. Their growth mindset and positive response to feedback is great. And if you ever need help their online informational guides are very helpful and you can always submit a question to their help desk if needed and get a response quickly. **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** I converted over to using their email functionality, which has met our needs but could be more robust. It would be nice if it were more informative regarding how my users read and click through the emails. You can connect a system like Mailchimp but we elected to just keep everything in DonorDock for simplicity. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing donors is our primary utilization of the software, and it does that very well. It allows us to easily communicate with donors from sending receipts to emailing and notifying them about campaigns. The integrated online giving, the nudges and reminders, and the user-friendly interface make for a great solution. Throw in the price point, and it is a no-brainer. **What do you dislike about DonorDock?** The website development side has room to improve. The product itself looks great, but it is incredibly cumbersome to make any substantial changes, and there has been some turnover in the DonorDock team that have hindered responsiveness in this area. **What problems is DonorDock solving and how is that benefiting you?** DonorDock has allowed us to finally step into the 21st Century with online giving! The simplicity of their system, and integration options with Stripe and PayPal have helped us remove considerable barriers to giving in our community. The database of current, prospective, and lapsed donors is very user-friendly and helpful. The system provides suggestions and nudges when it might be prudent to reach out to a lapsed donor or someone who hasn't been contacted in a while. The email marketing is another great feature, albeit one that we have not utilized much yet. I have experience with a couple of similar products and one of the best things about DonorDock is that is continues to be actively invested in and has an active community of users. The other two products we had used had grown stale, outdated, clunkly, with not much support. The features in DonorDock are well thought out and there continues to be an evolution of new enhancements. When we have experienced a few bugs, the support and turnaround time on the fixes was top notch. For many reasons, I happily recommend DonorDock.
