"Donorbox Made Fundraising Fast, Seamless, User-Friendly, Efficient, and Effective"
5/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

We’ve been in ministry for over 20 years and, during that time, we’ve used many different non-profit donation processes. We were recently introduced to Donorbox while searching for a new donation processor, and within hours we were able to create our first fundraising campaign on their system. We also loaded the link seamlessly onto our ministry webpage without any technical assistance. This has been a tremendous improvement compared with many more expensive systems we’ve tried. We highly recommend Donorbox for its user-friendliness and advanced capabilities, especially for any small-scale ministry. Easy for novices, clear directions, efficient integration. What do you dislike about Donorbox?

At the moment, we can’t think of anything that needs to be modified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Donorbox is a reliable tool for smooth and transparent fundraising"
5/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I like best that Donorbox is very practical and easy to use. It makes the donation process simple both for our organisation and for our donors, and the platform is clear, intuitive, and efficient. It helps us manage fundraising without unnecessary complexity, which is a great advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

I do not have any major complaints, but one difficulty is tracking the transferred funds clearly. Because payments are grouped together before being forwarded, it is not always easy to identify exactly which donations are included or to understand the timing of the transfers. As a result, it can be difficult to follow our income precisely from month to month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Having Consistent Problems with DonorBox Live from Set up to Implementation"
2/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I like the integration with Stripe, and it's fairly easy to set up the campaigns. Lot's of support during the purchasing phase to make sure this was the right product for my organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

I am using DonorBox live and purchased two kiosks. They arrived in a box with no instructions on how to put them together. I had to email them specifically for instructions. The Android tablets they sent me were full of spam apps that are impossible to remove. The subscription price is very high, and I doubt it will be worth keeping DonorBox, especially since it keeps breaking down. At least once a week, when I walk into my organization, it's not working. It says "connect to card reader." I am solely responsible for this and cannot rely on coworkers to fix this, so it just sits unusable for days, and we receive no donations since I work most days remotely. We might even lose money due to the high subscription cost, it breaking consistently, and not being able to accept donations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Donor-Friendly Fundraising with Powerful Forms, Automation, and Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I like how it integrates multiple payment options into a single source. It has tremendous potential with its forms and AI-like automation, and it can be as simple as you want or you can dive into more complicated builds. It also displays the complex data you need quickly, compiles the data into easy to read formats, and doesn’t trap your donors in ads. The free option is a big plus, because it lets an individual use it without commitment and take the time to master its complexity. On top of that, their support team responds quickly and is genuinely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

The fees seem a little steep once you consider that you are paying Donorbox and the financial platform's fees (e.g. Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Reliable, and Effective for Fundraising"
4/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

What I like best about Donorbox is how incredibly easy it makes the entire donation process, both for organizations and donors. The setup is quick and intuitive, and the customizable donation forms look clean and professional without needing any technical skills. It really helps streamline fundraising while providing useful features like recurring donations and donor management, which makes a big difference in maintaining long-term support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

What I dislike about Donorbox is that some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which can be limiting for smaller organizations. Additionally, customization options, while good, can feel a bit restricted if you want full control over the design and user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Plug-and-Play Donations with Centralized Donor Info"
4/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

Really intuitive plug-and-play donation features for self-serve kiosks, as well as online forms and alternative donation methods, with donor info all in one centralized place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

Fairly steep annual fee for a small institution that needs to make much more in donations to make it worthwhile, and I think some of the UX (particularly the recurring donation option) could be rethought to increase engagement by coming after the suggested amount screen, not before. "Simple, Professional Donation Pages with Easy Setup and Seamless Website Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I like how simple and straightforward Donorbox makes it to create a professional donation page. I was able to set up a clean page, customize it, connect payment options, and share it with supporters without needing much technical or coding experience.

The platform also integrates well with my website, which made it easier to create a trustworthy donation option for people who want to support my professional golf journey. The page loads well, looks professional, and gives donors a simple checkout experience. Overall, it saves time and makes the donation process feel organized and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

My least favorite part is the cost of using Stripe/payment processing alongside Donorbox. The platform itself is very useful, but the extra fees can make it feel less affordable, especially when trying to maximize the amount that goes directly toward the fundraising goal. It would be helpful to have more low-cost payment options or clearer fee guidance during setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of use great for smaller nonprofits"
4/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I absolutely love the new dashboard. It’s clean, well-organized, and provides all the key analytics right when you log in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

One of my biggest complaints is the limited number of users who can access the account. In the free tier, access is restricted to only five users. In our case, we’ve found that we need additional users to access the account. Additionally, even though it’s considered a “free tier,” you are still charged per transaction, which adds ongoing costs despite the user limitations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Website Integration, Perfect for Donation Collection"
5/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I find Donorbox very easy to integrate into my website, which allows me to collect donations seamlessly without our church members having to leave the page. I also appreciate how ease of access is ensured for church members of all ages. The initial setup was very easy for me, which made the whole experience smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

There isn’t much I don’t like about Donorbox. I’ve used this platform in the past for other businesses, and I’ve been extremely happy with what Donorbox offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Fundraising with Ease and Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Donorbox?

I really like the ease of launching a campaign with Donorbox and the ability to embed the campaign form on my own website. It's intuitive and fast, making it easy to start a campaign from start to finish. The learning curve is very low, and embedding the campaign into my website enhances the credibility of my donation efforts. The setup was a breeze and super easy; it barely took any time to get started. The flexibility is also a big plus for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Donorbox?

So far, I think one of the areas that need improvement is the ability for all the donations and campaigns to have a listed page where people can watch and see. I would like something like that, there you can see all of the different campaigns, and people can select whichever one they want to support. If Donorbox offers something like that, it would have been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
