**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I use Donorbox for funding my organization, and I love that it's easy to use and helps me track giving. The giving page is simple and easy, which means I don't have to have people try and navigate a difficult page. It's really helpful because I don't have to do it all by myself, making it much less hassle. I also appreciate that tracking how much people give and when they give is straightforward. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, making the onboarding process smooth.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I wish there was a broader way to find new people to give. More of a social media help.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox provides a simple and easy giving page, making it easier for people to donate. It allows me to easily track how much people give and when, so I don't have to do it all by myself, simplifying fundraising for my organization.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I love how Donorbox provides easy access to my photos, which is crucial as a photographer. I appreciate its ease of use, making peer-to-peer sharing seamless and efficient, similar to an electronic version of an in-person dropbox. This makes internet usage and file storage straightforward and less cumbersome for me. Furthermore, I find Donorbox easier to use compared to Google Drive, highlighting the user-friendly nature of its platform. The initial setup process is also very simple, adding to the overall positive experience with Donorbox.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I dislike that Donorbox can be a bit glitchy sometimes. There have been times when I attempt to load my account and encounter an error message, or I have to wait a few minutes before retrying. This disrupts my workflow and can be frustrating when I need to access my stored files quickly.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I What I like most about Donorbox is how simple it makes giving—for both the donor and the organization. It’s clean, intuitive, and doesn’t feel intimidating or clunky, which really matters when you’re asking people to support something meaningful.

I love that it’s donor-first: recurring donations are easy, the checkout is smooth, and it works beautifully on mobile. On the backend, it’s just as good—clear reporting, easy setup, and no unnecessary bells and whistles getting in the way.

It feels like Donorbox actually understands nonprofits: transparent pricing, flexible tools, and zero pressure. It quietly does its job well, which is exactly what you want from a donation platform.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

What I dislike about Donorbox is that while it’s great at the basics, it can feel a bit limited once you want more customization or advanced branding. You sometimes hit a ceiling if you’re trying to create a very specific donor journey or highly tailored experience.

The design options are pretty minimal, so forms can start to look the same unless you put in extra work outside the platform. Some integrations and features also require upgrading, which can feel frustrating when you’re growing and suddenly need tools that aren’t included at the lower tiers.

It’s solid and reliable—but not always as flexible or powerful as you might want if your fundraising gets more complex.

What I like most about Donorbox is how easy it is to set up and start accepting donations quickly, without any technical overhead. The platform is very transparent about its fees, integrates smoothly with Stripe and PayPal, and works reliably with WordPress websites. I also appreciate the flexibility it offers for both one-time and recurring donations, along with the clean, professional-looking donation forms that help build trust with donors.

One downside is that some advanced features and customization options are limited on the free plan, which can require upgrading sooner than expected as an organization grows. **What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I use Donorbox for my nonprofit to make it really easy for people to donate with just one click on my website or newsletter. I like that I'm able to send thank yous and receipts very easily. This feature adds value for me because I'm not the most organized person, and I don't really have to keep track of donations. The initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I do find it hard to find the thank you that is sent out when people make a donation so I can see exactly what it says.

I find Donorbox makes it really easy for people to donate with just one click from my website or newsletter. I also like sending thank yous and receipts easily, which helps me keep track since I'm not super organized.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

It is easy to set up with the drag and drop interface and the free version has good functionality.  That way, we are only paying for the platform as a % of an actual donation, instead of having a recurring subscription expense.  As a fledgling NPO that is entirely vounteer run, this is important for us.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

The event ticket sales feature doesn't work as well for us.  The capture of the ticket buyer vs.. ticket user, and the transfer of that data via the Salesforce integration doesn't work seamlessly.  There need to be more options for mapping fields between donorbox and Salesforce.  As a consequence, I have to fix records manually on Salesforce side.

Donorbox is allowing us to do on-line fundraising without an upfront cost, and to capture those donors in a CRM.

With the free account, I appreciate that recurring donations are included. The forms are straightforward to use and make it easy to track donor information. It was also very simple to embed the form on our website, which helped us get set up quickly.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

It’s not a concern, but it would be great to have an option for creating a legacy donation. Additionally, we’ve noticed that some donors provide incorrect or fake email or mailing addresses, which has caused challenges when sending thank-you notes. Having a way to validate donor email addresses would be ideal.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our main challenges has been retaining donors over time. The recurring donation feature has made a significant difference, helping us maintain donor relationships while also increasing the frequency of donations.

The best thing about Donorbox for our very small non-profit was how quickly we could get up and running, without any ongoing monthly fees or set-up fees.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

The only thing I wish Donorbox had was a feature to track our membership and to see at a glance who is currently a member, ie. who has paid each year without digging through a spreadsheet manually.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox solved our membership situation. Previously none of our board members could figure out how to set up a membership program to Mancos Trails Group. Donorbox provided a simple and easy to employ membership campaign which quickly allowed us to get our membership program up and running.

I love how Donorbox is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it a breeze for contributors to use. I appreciate the options for one-time or monthly contributions, which work for both charities and for-profit enterprises. The ability to create sub-campaigns for fundraising through influencer collaborations is also a big plus. I enjoy the flexibility of setting currency or using multi-currency, which aligns with donor psychology by letting donors know the exact amount in their local currency. The variety of payment methods offers quick payments and adds a sense of trust for our supporters. The initial setup was super easy, barely an inconvenience.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Crowdfundings thrive on perks, but Donorbox does not have the ability for us to deliver digital perks such as through blogs, sharing videos, link downloads, etc.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Donorbox for one-time or monthly contributions, sub-campaigns with influencers, and various payment methods. It's user-friendly with multi-currency support, gaining donor trust. We switched from GoGetFunding due to monthly donation options.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I absolutely loved the trial experience with Donorbox. Setting up Donorbox was extremely easy, as I could integrate and connect our PayPal account within minutes, include our branding colors, and incorporate our messaging for donor communications. It was surprisingly simple. Donorbox effectively solves the problem of providing an easy way for us to communicate donation methods to potential donors, which saves time in receiving donations for our nonprofit. I find the ease of use and the simplicity with which people can donate via our site most valuable, along with the quick integration with PayPal for fast donation receipt. The low cost of Donorbox is another appealing factor, making it a service I would consider using again in the future. My satisfaction with Donorbox is so high that I would rate my likelihood of recommending it to others an eleven out of ten.

I would change the text or the font options that we have available. So that we can 100% brand our donor box experience to our nonprofit branding.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I really like being able to create campaigns and handle offline donations easily. Donorbox makes it super convenient to automatically generate yearly tax receipts, which is such a blessing for our small team. I find it great that I can embed Donorbox everywhere and integrate it with pretty much everything. The simplicity in using different platforms like Apple Pay, stocks, or crypto for donations, as well as the ease of embedding and using forms, makes it easy to bring support into the ministry. Having a website where I can natively or easily embed through Squarespace helps match colors to the site, and it just makes a lot of things easier. Plus, I found the initial setup to be very easy, which was great since I had to do it myself due to our small team.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I wasn't able to take a stock donation because I wasn't on the paid plan yet. I don't have enough support and donation revenue yet to do that, so having that would be nice. Also, anything I can integrate with, like email marketing or church management software, would be awesome. If I could manage my community there instead of having to integrate with other platforms, that would be great.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox simplifies support across platforms like Apple Pay, stock, or crypto with ease of use. It allows creating campaigns, managing offline donations, and generating yearly tax receipts automatically. I can integrate it everywhere, making it a blessing for my small team.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I appreciate Donorbox because it allows me to raise funds on a recurring basis, which suits my local school district's needs. I like that it's a 'set it and forget it' system that works efficiently and pays out properly. The fact that it provided me with a QR code is handy. It serves its purpose very well. I love that I can really detail if I want recurring payments or one-time payments, and it explains each tier level clearly. It sets everything up nicely for the donor to understand what they're signing up for, including the category and the amount they're paying. I find the initial setup pretty easy, taking me less than fifteen minutes, and the fees being lower than similar services like Patreon was a decisive factor for choosing Donorbox.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Setting up some of the pages can sometimes be a bit tricky, and the interface could be a bit smoother.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

What I like most about Donorbox is how simple and easy it is to use. Setting up donation campaigns is straightforward and the donation process is smooth for supporters. I also like that it allows recurring donations and helps us stay organized by tracking donor information and contributions in one place. It has made fundraising much more manageable for our team. The initial setup was easy; we were able to create our first donation campaign quickly without any technical difficulties. I’d give it a 9 out of 10. It’s reliable, easy to use and has really helped our fundraising efforts.

Some advanced features can be a bit hard to navigate and more customization options for donation pages would be helpful. Some reporting and integration settings can take time to understand especially when trying to link Donorbox with other tools.

It continues to deliver and help us get donations. The re-occuring option for donations and the ease at which it works ALSO continues to deliver for us.

Nothing new to add. It works REALLY WELL!

It allows us to receive donations easily. The tech guy set it up quickly, linked it to our Stripe and it was live on our site!

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I find Donorbox has a very accessible pricing structure for small nonprofits, making it very easy for even the smallest organizations to access high-quality fundraising tools. I also appreciate the ease of use and access of the platform. Setting up campaigns on Donorbox is extremely easy thanks to the simple, step-by-step instructions, allowing even someone without any experience to set it up very easily.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I think the CRM component was still in development and could definitely use some improvement. There was a bit of challenges being able to use the list option as well. I didn't find that was as useful for sending mass email lists to certain segments of donors or tracking them differently. Also, because I don't pay for the CRM process anymore, I can no longer access the API, which doesn't allow me to connect to other platforms.

I like that there's a lot baked in with Donorbox. It provides donor receipts automatically to people who donate to us, which takes a lot of stress off our very, very small team since we don't have to track things additionally. It's great that it's available 24/7, so we don't have to be around to track and get those donations. I would say in general, the user experience is pretty decent. It's nice to have software that's easy for most of our volunteers to use.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

It's kind of hard to track our users, so we end up putting them in a Google Sheet anyways. There's always a functionality that we are wishing we had, mostly around analyzing our donors and being able to import and export donors without using intense CSV formats. Some logging doesn't always make sense, so it would be nice to log donations more holistically. The back end can be tough to use, especially when building campaign pages. Photos are often stretched, and there's not much room for custom design, unlike platforms like Squarespace. Sometimes it feels a little cheap, and it doesn't look sleek, which might affect donors' perception of security.

I found the event ticketing process a bit clunky, and the day-of attendee check-in is borderline useless. Scans don't work, things take forever, and we end up resorting to manual check-ins.

Donorbox truly helped our non profit organisation by allowing us to easily create our fundraiser compaign and sponsorship programs for our rescue animals, and embed it to our website. Donorbox makes it really easy to track our donors, storing their email to sent them updates about their sponsored animal.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

The fees, but I also appreciated the option to ask donors to pay for them themselves!

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were paying too many fees for our previous website so we had to create a new one on a free platform. We needed a way to ask for donations with different custom campaigns, and be able to embed them in our new website: sponsorship for each type of animals  (horses, goats, cats and dogs) and a more general campaign, a little is a lot, asking for all our followers for 1 euro per month to help us out our financial struggles. Donorbox has everything we needed to accomplish that, for free!

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I find Donorbox easy to use as it doesn't require setting up a lot of technical stuff. I can easily track payments and appreciate that it automatically acknowledges payments by sending donors an acknowledgement email. It's valuable to me because it acts as a trust-building link between donors and me, as collecting payments myself could seem unreliable. Donorbox also takes care of the heavy lifting, with a system that acknowledges payments and sends emails, which is not trivial. I also like that Donorbox supports different reputable and globally recognized payment gateways, which builds more trust with donors. The initial setup was very easy, especially with the WordPress plugin, and it also provides generated codes or scripts to easily add to my website for campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Some features are only premium. Some features also disadvantage me because I'm in Africa and they only support US residents. Maybe we should be more considered. They can also try adding African payment gateways other than PayPal.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Donorbox as a payment gateway link, simplifying online donations since my website lacks this feature. It's easy to use, tracks payments, and sends automatic acknowledgment emails, which builds trust and handles heavy lifting with various reputable payment options.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I use Donorbox to run self-serve kiosks at my church, and I liked that it was self-serve software for the end-user, which is great because many other solutions required a human to run the terminal, which wasn't acceptable for us. It was rather easy to set up once I had all the pieces together, like the iPad, Donorbox, Stripe reader, and hardware enclosure. Plus, it worked easily on the first try.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I would like the option to select which fund to contribute to before asking for the amount. We have a General fund which pays for mostly everything. We want most of the money to go here. We have smaller funds for donations to certain groups like Youth Ministry. To be candid, we would prefer for donations to go to the General donation fund. I don't want the instance of someone wanting to donate $100, then they see the funds they can select from. It just gives the users too many options. If the fund is selected first before the amount, then it's clear where the donor wants the money to go.  I can see how someone would want it the current way. So I really think this should be an option.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox lets us collect electronic payments at church using self-serve kiosks, which worked with our credit card processor restrictions. It avoids needing staff to manage transactions and is simple to set up with the right hardware.

Setting up was straightforward, and I really appreciate that I receive an email notification each time a donation is made. I also like that donors automatically get a thank you note and a receipt for their tax records. The website is extremely user-friendly. Even though I had no prior experience with online donation platforms, I managed to get everything running in just one day. And it's FREE!

I've noticed that the majority of donations are received when there is an online option available. Fewer people seem to use checks or cash these days. **What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I like the ease of use of Donorbox and its good integration with Stripe. Setting up an account was straightforward since Stripe's robust platform made linking our bank and verifying deposits easy. Donorbox relies on Stripe for much of the financial processing, so we just needed to provide our information and basic campaign details. Donorbox does not overcomplicate the process of asking for donations.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I found installing the standing kiosk for Donorbox was not simple. It took two people three hours in total because the box did not include all the necessary tools, and two pieces of hardware (nuts to secure an attached credit card reader) were missing entirely, so we had to source those from our own storage. The app setup was easy, but the hardware wasn't.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox solved our issue of cash handling by allowing us to accept donations electronically, reducing the need for physical cash which not everyone carries anymore.

I use Donorbox to raise funds for Ethical Seafood Research and launch a monthly giving program. I appreciate how it makes it easy to accept international donations in multiple currencies in a streamlined way. I can easily create new campaigns and donation forms, and automatically send receipts. I really like that Donorbox doesn't have any onboarding costs, making it very accessible for small nonprofits. The option to have embed forms or direct donation pages adds great flexibility, allowing me to start fundraising without needing to raise upfront costs to access the platform and to be more flexible in creating donation pages, whether on or off our website. The initial setup was very easy, and we encountered no problems.

The CRM component could be improved, where it is easier to filter and make separate lists of donors according to their different criteria.

My client runs a small charity (dog rescue) and I redesigned her website in WordPress when she wanted to move away from Joomla. She needed a way for people to leave donations, so I did some research. All the plugins I found initially seemed expensive for a very small charity like my client's, until I found Donorbox, which has no monthly/yearly fee if you go for the basic option. Yes, there is a fee per donation, but I have found that most donors are happy to cover this amount. It was incredibly easy to set everything up and the end result looks super-slick on her website.

There is nothing I dislike about Donorbox. It's honestly been a dream to use and I will be recommending it to any other charities that I work with in the future.

The Ideal payment option would be nice if that's added. In The Netherlands, not many people use a credit card daily, we have a payment platform for all banks that is called Ideal.

I think the cost structure of Donorbox is one of the best things. The way it charges is very reasonable, and it provides a lot of value with a lot of tools. The donation forms are relatively customizable, and the fact that we could have custom pages and widgets really stands out. I also appreciate the ability to handle recurring donations and analyze data in detail, which are features that competitor systems don't do well. The original setup was very easy for us because it allowed us to integrate directly with our bank accounts, and everything showed up very quickly. It didn't really have a lot of advanced settings to worry about, and it worked pretty easily out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I think that sometimes it's a little bit hard to tell what things are upcharge features, what things would be requiring more investment, whether it's customizations at certain levels.

I like how Donorbox is extremely easy to use and simple, both for me and my donors. This simplicity has significantly benefitted me because there are no inhibitors for my donors to make contributions, increasing the likelihood of donation. The donation process is straightforward for them, and for me, knowing that when donations are made, they go directly into my bank account without additional steps is immensely convenient.
