**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

It provides a clear and neat interface that is recognizable to users and models a flow of transaction that makes sense. It integrates well with sites like Squarespace, allowing for greater flexibility in its application. Being able to embed it into our Donation webpage was very meaningful. The price makes it very accessible to a nonprofit starting out on their individual giving journey.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

There are some elements of its function that are not immediately clear when setting up that affect its performance in practice, such as recurring donations having more limited payment options than one-time donations. This was something that wasn't fully clear in the onboarding process, and cost us some donations at a recent event due to the friction experienced with the giving process. While we know now moving into the future, it still was a definite hiccup.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Donorbox, we had to rely on Squarespace's existing functions for accepting donations, and the structure made for a lot of friction for potential donors. While Donorbox is not without its flaws, the structure alone makes for a much more inviting and streamlined donation process.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I like the fact that it is easy and that people can easily make monthly donations to us. It also helps them take us seriously because it seems professional. What makes the experience easy and professional are the recurring donation forms. The initial setup was also quite easy.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

{"I find that the website has a lot of bugs.","I notice that the website often doesn't work well.","When you click on something it often leads to other pages.","I wanted to add another function so that people wouldn't receive invoices every month in their email; it didn't work and it still doesn't work.","When I clicked, the message was 'recording donation' then it redirected me to the 'account' page (you can see my name, login, etc.), but the change wasn't applied.","I clicked to prevent the sending of monthly invoices and it didn't work."}

Donorbox helps me receive monthly donations easily for my association. People can easily make recurring donations to us through the forms, and it looks professional, so people take us seriously.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I appreciate the ease of use and the ability to upload payment methods or forms of payment that come in other ways, keeping our accounting clean. I also like that we can generate reports quickly, which has cut back on our staff's time because the system does so much that we were formally doing by hand. We also appreciate the integration of forms with our website and like the setup and the way campaigns can be followed by individual team members on our staff. Additionally, the initial setup of Donorbox was very easy, and we integrate it with our Stripe platform.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I wish that Donorbox had robust CRM capabilities. We've looked into it, and I understand it's in the process of being built, but the CRM capabilities are not there yet.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox helps us raise funds, delineate them cleanly, and integrate forms with our site. It saves staff time by automating tasks we used to do manually, keeps accounting clean, and lets us generate reports quickly.

What I like best about Donorbox is how incredibly easy it makes the entire donation process, both for organizations and donors. The setup is quick and intuitive, and the customizable donation forms look clean and professional without needing any technical skills. It really helps streamline fundraising while providing useful features like recurring donations and donor management, which makes a big difference in maintaining long-term support.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

What I dislike about Donorbox is that some of the more advanced features are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which can be limiting for smaller organizations. Additionally, customization options, while good, can feel a bit restricted if you want full control over the design and user experience.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox solves the problem of managing donations in a simple and organized way, without needing complex systems or technical expertise. It centralizes everything—from collecting donations to tracking donors and setting up recurring contributions—so it saves a lot of time and reduces manual work. This benefits me by making fundraising more efficient and allowing me to focus more on engaging with supporters rather than dealing with administrative tasks.

Really intuitive plug-and-play donation features for self-serve kiosks, as well as online forms and alternative donation methods, with donor info all in one centralized place.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Fairly steep annual fee for a small institution that needs to make much more in donations to make it worthwhile, and I think some of the UX (particularly the recurring donation option) could be rethought to increase engagement by coming after the suggested amount screen, not before.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Self-serve donation without using up staff time and resources processing donations, especially during busy free days/programs where staff is stretched thin and donations are extra important.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I absolutely love the new dashboard. It’s clean, well-organized, and provides all the key analytics right when you log in.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

One of my biggest complaints is the limited number of users who can access the account. In the free tier, access is restricted to only five users. In our case, we’ve found that we need additional users to access the account. Additionally, even though it’s considered a “free tier,” you are still charged per transaction, which adds ongoing costs despite the user limitations.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used a different platform that stopped supporting recurring donations, so we had to search for an alternative. That's when we found Donorbox, and transitioning to it was smooth. Donorbox makes donor management incredibly easy, which is a big plus.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

What I like best about Donorbox is how easy it is to use, both for our team and for donors. As a nonprofit, we need tools that are simple, reliable, and flexible without requiring technical complexity, and Donorbox has been exactly that. Setting up campaigns, managing donations, and integrating forms into our website has been very straightforward.

We also appreciate the recurring donation system, the clean donor experience, and the transparency in tracking contributions. It has helped us streamline fundraising and focus more on our mission instead of administrative tasks.

Overall, Donorbox has been a very practical and efficient platform for supporting our nonprofit work.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

One downside of Donorbox is that the platform fees and processing commissions can become significant for small nonprofits, especially when managing many donations with limited resources. 

We also feel that some useful customization options are locked behind higher-tier plans or require paying extra, which can be limiting for organizations that need flexibility but operate on tight budgets.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox helps us simplify and centralize our fundraising process. Before using it, managing donations, recurring supporters, and donor information required much more manual work and different tools. 

With Donorbox, we can easily collect donations, automate recurring giving, track supporter activity, and integrate donation forms into our website without needing advanced technical knowledge. This saves us time, reduces administrative workload, and allows us to focus more on our nonprofit’s mission and the animals we help.

It has also made the donation process easier and more trustworthy for donors, which helps improve supporter retention and overall fundraising efficiency.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

What I appreciate most about Donorbox is that it notifies me whenever a donation is made and then automatically syncs that information with my database system. This makes data management much more streamlined and also creates better opportunities for guests to donate whenever they choose.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Getting Donorbox up and running was the most challenging part of the process. When we first received our materials, Donorbox wasn’t set up to work with our bank, so we ran into delays. After about two months, the two finally paired, and the setup process was fairly efficient from that point on.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a cashless institution, Donorbox allows us to offer a quick and easy solution for guests to donate at their discretion.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I was able to talk with multiple people at Donorbox concerning a project where we needed to have a live voting system similar to America's Got Talent. They were able to talk me through their system and even did a live tech help after I had everythign setup and was testing the finctionality. In the end, DonorBox was exactly what we needed and we intend to use it again for the same event next year. I've even had some people from thwir team reach out and discuss improvements they could make. Luckily some of the things on my wish list were on their to-do list anyway and they plan to have them implemented soon.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I tried Zappier integration which wasn't exactly easy to figure out and still did not do what I wanted it to. It was a little beyond my understanding ultimately, but I got it working to the basic of what I needed. Still, ideally I like a more graphical representation of donations/live voting next time I use DonorBox for our event.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a live voting system and even though its not originally what DonorBox was designed for, I was able to talk through our needs and get it setup to do exacly what we needed. The team has reached out to me since my event in order to help implement cahnges to mae it easier next time.

I appreciate Donorbox because it's easy to use and there are free options. I also like the ability to create specialized and customized pages, and being able to link with Stripe, it works well. The initial setup took me about an hour, it wasn't too complex, and once set up, it works very well.

At times, it can feel a bit convoluted and overly complex.

Creating a donation form is straightforward and doesn't require much technical expertise. Although Donorbox offers good customization for donation forms, more advanced design options could be beneficial. For instance, allowing greater flexibility in form layouts, custom CSS, and more template choices could help organizations better match their branding and create more visually appealing donation pages.

We have found that Donorbox has made fundraising easy and effective for our nonprofit. **What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I like that Donorbox allows me to accept donations from people who want to use a card and helps me keep track of my donations. The implementation into my website is a stand-out feature, making it easy to send my website to a potential donor so they can learn more and have the tools to immediately donate. Also, starting with Donorbox was super easy; I could start fundraising the same day, which made the whole process smooth.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I find it frustrating that text-to-give and peer giving are more expensive or require an extra charge. It would be better if they were the same fee as a regular donation. The fees are pretty hefty on some donations.

Donorbox lets me accept card donations and keeps track of them. It makes the implementation into my website simple, allowing potential donors to learn and donate immediately.

I like the appearance of Donorbox and the option to have more than just one-time donations. It looks professional and makes it easy for people to see what they want and navigate the donation process with ease.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

The rate of the processing for payments feels high. I also feel like they can improve their formatting options for paragraph text boxes inside of the donation landing pages, it's very simple text, which doesn't allow for effective messaging. If you could make it so that you could have paragraph breaks, bold, italics, font size changes, that would be helpful. Same for the post-donation thank you pages.

I use Donorbox to provide monthly donation options, which helps ensure a steady donation flow. It looks professional and is easy for people to navigate, making the donation process simple.

Donorbox does not offer credit for one-time mistakes. In my case, I selected the option for donors to cover fees, but I unknowingly also selected “swift pay.” In rare situations like this—or as a standard “GRACE” protocol—I think Donorbox should offer a one-time fee credit when something wasn’t intentional. This would go along with their mission of “Giving” back to organizations that want to make an impact in our communities.

Donorbox provides a platform that give me the ability to save time from creating my own donation platform.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I really value all the contributions and features that Donorbox provides. I appreciate that it can generate tax-deductible donation letters and paperwork. It's also very intuitive and user-friendly. I find it very easy to generate a QR code for our in-person flyers to direct people to Donorbox for donations. The platform saves us a lot of time by removing some of the administrative burdens that revolve around the donation process. The initial setup was extremely easy and fast, taking less than five minutes.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I feel the user interface is a little bit dated, like from the early 2000s. However, it's still very intuitive and not a true issue.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox solves logistical challenges and reduces administrative tasks, saving our volunteer team time. It generates necessary forms for tax-deductible donations and works seamlessly with Stripe to manage funds. Switching from manual processes to Donorbox removed significant admin burdens from the donation process.

Easy integration for the NGOs site and not to do any designing or anything just set up and you are good to go.

They are not providing testing mode for donation. So incase if you want some action after the success of payment, you have to do real payment.

I can use it anywhere in the website in one click once its setup so collecting donation has become easy. Its performance is also good . Give option for the color which is good to match your site.

I like that Donorbox is easy to use. It's quick and easy to set up, which was really helpful when we needed to unexpectedly receive donations from the general public. Setting up the page was efficient and quick. It's also easy to edit, and I appreciate that donations come in clearly, making it easy for the donors too.

The interface for questions and answers could be improved.

As a starting nonprofit, Donorbox provided an easy way to set up our first fundraising initiatives.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

In the beginning, there’s a bit of a learning curve, especially when setting up payment partners. I also found that the documentation sometimes doesn’t seem fully up to date with newer product releases from both Donorbox and Stripe.

Overall availability for donation with solid features so payment internally is also covered

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I love how Donorbox is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it a breeze for contributors to use. I appreciate the options for one-time or monthly contributions, which work for both charities and for-profit enterprises. The ability to create sub-campaigns for fundraising through influencer collaborations is also a big plus. I enjoy the flexibility of setting currency or using multi-currency, which aligns with donor psychology by letting donors know the exact amount in their local currency. The variety of payment methods offers quick payments and adds a sense of trust for our supporters. The initial setup was super easy, barely an inconvenience.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Crowdfundings thrive on perks, but Donorbox does not have the ability for us to deliver digital perks such as through blogs, sharing videos, link downloads, etc.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Donorbox for one-time or monthly contributions, sub-campaigns with influencers, and various payment methods. It's user-friendly with multi-currency support, gaining donor trust. We switched from GoGetFunding due to monthly donation options.

I like that Donorbox is easy to set up. I appreciate the fact that once it's set up, it's done, which makes everything work pretty much how it was meant to be, with minimal leading from me.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I would maybe have an option where people can choose to be able to make a recurring donation every month of their choosing.      Also I wish that when people click on the donate from my website that it didnt go to a whole new tab to donorbox website and donorbox url.   It kinda makes is seem scammy

I use Donorbox for our nonprofit, spifi.org; it makes it easier for people to donate. Setup was easy and requires little input from me.

I really like being able to create campaigns and handle offline donations easily. Donorbox makes it super convenient to automatically generate yearly tax receipts, which is such a blessing for our small team. I find it great that I can embed Donorbox everywhere and integrate it with pretty much everything. The simplicity in using different platforms like Apple Pay, stocks, or crypto for donations, as well as the ease of embedding and using forms, makes it easy to bring support into the ministry. Having a website where I can natively or easily embed through Squarespace helps match colors to the site, and it just makes a lot of things easier. Plus, I found the initial setup to be very easy, which was great since I had to do it myself due to our small team.

I wasn't able to take a stock donation because I wasn't on the paid plan yet. I don't have enough support and donation revenue yet to do that, so having that would be nice. Also, anything I can integrate with, like email marketing or church management software, would be awesome. If I could manage my community there instead of having to integrate with other platforms, that would be great.

I like the relative ease of use of Donorbox and its decent support. It was easy to deploy and integrate, and it's easy to administer by non-technical staff. Additionally, when there are issues, their support is responsive. Donorbox is feature-rich, allowing for event ticketing and the ability to add donations to tickets, which is valuable to me. The option for monthly recurring donations and allowing donors to cover payment processing fees are features I appreciate.

I found the event ticketing process a bit clunky, and the day-of attendee check-in is borderline useless. The event ticketing needs more options regarding ticket types and more flexibility in designing the event itself. The check-in process needs to be rebuilt from scratch; it has to be quick and reliable. Right now, it's the critical time when many people need to be checked in, but the system just bogs down. Scans don't work, things take forever, and we end up resorting to manual check-ins.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

It was easy to set up all of our donor options across multiple platforms. The design is intuitive for donors, and the reporting is straightforward and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

Donorbox is very robust and has many options. Sometimes it can be cumbersome to find exact answers when needed, but thankfully their staff and FAQ can help us find what is needed. I would love to see if AI can be integrated more across the platform to make it even more useful!

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox allows us to set up giving options for all of our various programs. Recurring giving, one time gifts, and program giving...all done quickly and easily!

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I think the cost structure of Donorbox is one of the best things. The way it charges is very reasonable, and it provides a lot of value with a lot of tools. The donation forms are relatively customizable, and the fact that we could have custom pages and widgets really stands out. I also appreciate the ability to handle recurring donations and analyze data in detail, which are features that competitor systems don't do well. The original setup was very easy for us because it allowed us to integrate directly with our bank accounts, and everything showed up very quickly. It didn't really have a lot of advanced settings to worry about, and it worked pretty easily out of the box.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I think that sometimes it's a little bit hard to tell what things are upcharge features, what things would be requiring more investment, whether it's customizations at certain levels.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox simplifies handling donations by automating the administrative work like sending receipts. It eliminates the need for building a custom donation platform and features easy integration with our website, making it user-friendly and efficient.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I appreciate Donorbox for its simplicity and ease of use, which makes it really efficient for our needs in managing both single and recurring donations. The platform automates our recurring donation systems and assists in sending end-of-year donation totals to our donors seamlessly. Its simplicity stands out because it allows me to check active donors and their donation history quickly without any confusing steps, making it easy to access any reports I need. Additionally, Donorbox is incredibly cost-effective; it is essentially free for us as a small organization, with processing fees almost nonexistent, which adds a tremendous value. Despite being affordable, Donorbox remains a reliable system that we can count on for connecting with donors and ensuring a smooth process for our donation operations. The ease of setup was a big plus, making the transition smooth and effective without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I find it problematic that Donorbox's kiosk feature isn't flexible for our needs. We do donation events infrequently and would prefer to have access to the kiosk feature only during those specific times, without committing to a monthly or recurring plan. This lack of flexibility in the pricing or usage structure makes it less appealing for occasional events.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Donorbox to automate recurring donations and send yearly donation totals to donors, simplifying donation management. It’s free for my small organization, reliable, and quick for accessing donor reports without confusion.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I find Donorbox easy to use and quick to set up, which makes the whole process hassle-free. I love how I can fundraise for my community on their ongoing fundraiser, and the links are always easy to get and work reliably. The initial setup was really easy and only took me about 5 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

It could use UI customization for the fundraiser making your fundraiser really yours.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Donorbox is easy to use and quick to set up for fundraising at our Islamic center. It helps us fundraise for the community effectively, with links that are easy to get and always work.

**What do you like best about Donorbox?**

I appreciate Donorbox for its ease of setup, allowing my website team to complete the implementation in just two hours, which speaks to its user-friendly design. The platform's integrity is another strong point, as it is known and trusted by people, both users and donors, which enhances its reputation and reliability. I value that it effectively solves the issue of online donations, enabling donors to contribute directly through our website, thereby addressing the digital donation needs of our charity. It is highly regarded by our customers, who see it as a trusted service, which is critical for building donor trust and maintaining credibility. Additionally, Donorbox has a good reputation, which further assures me and inspires confidence in our donors.

**What do you dislike about Donorbox?**

I find the monthly fee for Donorbox to be problematic, especially since we don't have many online donors, making the $18 monthly cost burdensome without proportional usage. A per-donor fee structure might be more appropriate. Additionally, I'm dissatisfied with the interaction with PayPal. The necessity to share all account information and logins with PayPal is inconvenient since it is the only available option. Expanding the payment integration options beyond just PayPal would be beneficial.

**What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Donorbox to enable online donations through our website, solving the issue of accessibility for donors. It offers easy setup, trusted service, and is known for its integrity.

We’d like to clarify a couple of points: Donorbox does not have an $18 monthly fee. Our standard plan is free, with fees only applied per donation, so if no donations are received, there are no fees. In addition to PayPal, we also support Stripe for donations. Any request from PayPal for account information or logins comes directly from PayPal, as it is a separate entity from Donorbox.

We appreciate your suggestions about flexible pricing and expanded payment options, and your feedback helps us continue improving the platform for all organizations.
