I recently started as the new general manager for a not-for-profit so having a donor management system that was easy to understand was so helpful during my first few months. **What do you dislike about Donately?** I'm still learning more about the platform, but I think it's a bit challenging to treat it as a full 360 donor/audience management platform. The database is built on actual transactions, but we receive donations through a few different methods. Figuring out how to record these into the platform is something I was able to learn on my own. **What problems is Donately solving and how is that benefiting you?** Donately solves the need for a simple, reliable way to capture and record donations in one centralized place. It’s easy to use, doesn’t require a lot of onboarding, and has grown with our organization without pushing us into higher costs too quickly. The fee structure is also a huge plus. We’re able to keep more of each donation going directly toward our mission, which really matters from a donor trust and stewardship perspective. **What do you dislike about Donately?** As we’ve grown, there are a few areas where more advanced reporting or customization would be helpful. In the free version, there are limitations on the formatting options. However, for the purposes of our campaigns, they are adequate and look professional and clean. There are also several modifications you can make as to what is visible versus not visible on the form. Different filtering options to see donor activity is also straight forward, and provides graphics to see activity over a given span of time. **What do you dislike about Donately?** The different options on the dashboard for forms, campaigns, or fundraisers can be a bit confusing to navigate and is not intuitive as to which one is being used or should be being used. There was also a bit of a learning curve to make the page look nice (e.g. formatting graphics on canva before uploading), however was easy to understand after a few trial and errors. The sum in the donations is also BEFORE any processing fees, however I believe that this is the general format for other donation pages as well. **What problems is Donately solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a streamlined platform that is easy to use for fundraising. This uses a secure platform (Stripe) to easily transfer donations directly and securely. The platform also looks better than other platforms, as we want to have the page be professional. ### 5.
