I like the intuitive UI of Domo because all of the features appear where you'd expect them to be. It's very well-designed software with a simple setup for bringing all of your data. The connectors, particularly the Snowflake connector, are well-designed. I also really enjoy being able to use the SQL tile and query our Snowflake instance directly from Magic ETL. I love using Domo for managing reporting for our business. It helps with broad insights sharing, data centralization, and it has amazing AI capabilities. The Cloud amplifier feature makes it faster for us to get data into Domo, the AI function lets us chat with our data, and workflows allow us to set up automations effortlessly. The best part of DOMO is the ability to manipulate data, visualize, and story-board it all within one platform. A close second is the routine improvements that the DOMO team pushes showing the platform is growing to accommodate more business needs. My favorite singular feature is DOMO Apps. I became proficient in AppSheet before learning about DOMO, and I realized that no-code is the direction for most platforms. There aren't many things that DOMO misses when it comes to the minutiae, but a few big items seem to have left their radar. One is the organization of content within DOMO. The breakaway from typical folder subfolders for saved card content doesn't quite jive with navigational heuristics we have all come to use with new software. Two, the ability to create dev versions or deployed versions of cards means our internal team must keep some of them locked down. A small missing feature that goes along with both of these is the inability to create display vs internal development names for cards or data sources (though for datasources, I understand DOMO wants to use the Views feature). I like how Domo is a one stop place for all our data - where it can all be connected - and it's been easy enough that people who are nontechnical, such as our team, have been able to work with some people at Domo and still create really useful info for our organization. Transitioning our non-profit instance into a consumption-based model has been a bit rough. Conversations with staff have flip-flopped across several different people and it's a bit anxiety-inducing as our current contract is coming up. We don't have large staff so as much as I like using the product, this potential transition is scary, especially if we can't renew our contract as a result of increased cost. I like how it integrates multiple technologies, such as Jupyter, Magic ETL, and others. The functionality is strong, and I especially appreciate using Beast expressions.
