Documents upload effortlessly into DocVerify allowing notaries to upload PDF documents for notary transactions with ease. DocVerify is also clear in the set prices that are charged for each transaction, allowing notaries to pass these costs onto the client, if they so wish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about DocVerify? When using DocVerify for notarial acts in Texas, it is imperative that a video meeting takes place and is recorded as notarial record. Many notary clients have a hard time connecting to this and create issues for the client. DocVerify's form field tools could also use improvement, as they are not very reliable and sometimes make the notary's job more difficult when completing an online notarization. Recommendations to others considering DocVerify: DocVerify is great for individual notaries, as many other RON (Remote Online Notary) services do not allow for individual users and you must register an entire corporation. DocVerify allows for notaries operating individually to use RON technology to their advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is DocVerify solving and how is that benefiting you? Due to COVID-19, many nursing homes and hospitals are not allowing visitors, including notaries. This puts a strain on families with family members in these situations to execute Powers of Attorney, Wills, and many other important documents that a family may not have though necessary until the COVID-19 pandemic. DocVerify gives notaries the tools necessary to notarize these documents without presently being in high risk environments. The costs are laid out and are explained in great detail prior to signing up. They have very great customer support, I sent a question in at 9 PM on a Saturday and to my surprise saw a response to my question 9 AM Sunday morning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about DocVerify? I am not too much of a fan of the idea that you have to pay the subscription to use the service and then on top of that you also need to purchase tokens to use the subscription. I feel it should be one or the other type of plan. Which I feel would work out great for Notaries that are not doing remote notarizations full time so they can pay as they use but for the full-timers, they don't have to pay for the month and keep repurchasing tokens throughout the month. I also wish that there was more of a tutorial or training session for the software. I also wish that you could place elements onto documents before you open the signing that way you can focus more on explaining the documents as opposed to attempting to drag and drop elements onto the document. Haven't tried it yet so if this is a possible thing to do then just disregard this sentence, but I wish that we could do a test notarization with customer support so they could walk us through how everything works and what it looks like on the participants' end and the difference between a principal signers screen and a witnesses screen. I will also say I wish that you could group participants together so if you have a husband and wife signing a document they can use the same computer and same window/tab as opposed to needing two separate computers. I haven't had any real issues with DocVerify except for maybe a few of the items I mentioned in my dislikes box.
