It is a lower cost due to of course taking out the printing/postage/manual labor involved with paper documents. The integration with other tools like Salesforce and Microsoft 365 is extremely helpful. It prevents us from having to bounce back and forth between systems and has all of this in a single location. The version control and audit trails also give us the visibility that we need, especially for compliance. Time savings and reduced administrative overhead are major upsides. What used to take days — routing contracts for approval, managing redlines, or gathering signatures — can now be done in a fraction of the time. Before using it, contracts were handled through a mix of email threads, Word documents, and scattered approvals — which led to delays, missed steps, and compliance risks. Now, with standardized workflows and automated tracking, we’re seeing much faster turnaround times and far fewer errors. It's helping us primarily with risk mitigation, contract visibility, and operational effectiveness. We now have one source of truth for contracts, auto notifications for renewals and expirations, and standardized language for legal compliance. All of which have helped reduce bottlenecks between teams like Legal, Sales, and Procurement, and ultimately how fast we can close deals and bring vendors onboard.
