DocuShare is an useful program for any organization to use when uploading and managing sensitive documents. It has will our time and effort to find documents that otherwise would get lost Whether for IT or administrative reasons, every member of our team will easily access documentation. For our purposes, the best features are version control, automatic notifications, and DocuShare's powerful, fast search engine. I can customize a search on just about anything, down to the words in a document, and the results are impeccable. The support from our DocuShare provider, Criteria First, Inc., is great. They know DocuShare inside and out. If I have a question, I get an answer almost immediately. We have many, many users with many, many needs, and DocuShare is flexible enough to accommodate them all, yet user-friendly enough that its use is intuitive and works for the entire organization. Docushare has helped our office improve and maintain efficiency. Being a small business in need of a long term document management solution, we knew that we needed to implement a system that was easy to use, functional and dependable. After careful consideration of three market leaders in document management, we ultimately chose to partner with Xerox and their Docushare product. We'd make the same choice again. At times, the software will fail to process our documents or the process time is so slow that we'll run them through the scanner twice and end up with duplicates. Now that Denitech has been dissolved, the outsourced help desk is not nearly as skilled and responsive to solving technical issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about DocuShare is the search functionality. We have literally thousands of documents being stored on our DocuShare server. However users can easily find what they are looking for with a casual search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a DocuShare Admin, I wish that Xerox included better administration tools. For example, I am asked often to "give me permissions just like Joe has!" There is no way to see exactly what permission "Joe" has and no way of easily duplicating those permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Love the flow, once documents are captured into Docushare. I utilize the desktop file management option to move bulk amounts of data, and it is pretty seamless. I love the ability to search for data within documents as the OCR is pretty accurate and allows reduced time in discovering historical data. I don't like that cloud management without the desktop file management tool is a bit clunky. When aiming to copy, edit or move files to folders it can be a bit of a pain, if you're dealing with a bulk load of data/files that need to me relocated to subfolders.

I wish there was additional/on-going training about new features and/or advanced capabilities of the hardware, as with excel it feels you're tool is only as great as the person skilled enough to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At one time, we enjoyed this software until support was transferred from a local Xerox Distributor to Xerox direct Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the past, we had support services with our local Xerox distributor. I was a successful relationship for over a decade.

Now that Xerox desires to eliminate the "middleman" and go direct, we have not been successful in correcting a DocuShare issue.
