"Transparent Pricing and a User-Friendly DocuSeal Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

DocuSeal offers some of the most transparent and straightforward pricing I’ve seen. On top of that, the features are incredibly user-friendly and easy to understand, so it didn’t take long to get comfortable with the platform. We haven’t run into any issues so far, and we’ve genuinely enjoyed making the switch to DocuSeal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

I think the main thing that could be improved is the follow-up email process when a document is sent but hasn’t been signed yet. I know there are custom follow-up plans you can use, but it would be helpful to have an option to automatically send a reminder every couple of days, rather than being limited to only three follow-ups. "Flexible, Affordable API with Great Docs for Developer-Built Services"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

I’m a founder and a developer, and my clients often need automated signing and document management services. Docuseal’s API is flexible, affordable, and fast enough that I can build basically anything I need with solid performance. The documentation is great, too.

Occasionally, my own agents will generate generic API calls instead of following Docuseal best practices, but that may be user error on my part. A more specific prompt might solve the issue.

I also really appreciate that, when I finally find the time, I can self-host their services without having to rewrite all of my microservices.

It’s also helpful to have an extra seat on my plan for each client, in case they need to access their own dashboard outside of the applications I build for them. The dashboard is fairly intuitive as well, so it’s pretty simple to put together a short Scribe for non-technical users to get where they need to go.

Overall, it’s great for developers offering their own services, and 20 cents per document signed is a pretty good price, especially with the free sandbox! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

I think they could implement more security around having private links to document signing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Acrobat-level tools, without the price tag"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

I found Docuseal as a startup business owner when looking for alternatives to Adobe. I send a few documents each month for signing.

Docuseal has all the tools I used with Adobe, but without the ridiculous price tag. I've saved hundreds since making the switch.

It was easy to setup, works well, and I'll likely upgrade in the future to take advantage of their API. It's so easy to send generic documents to multiple clients too, and the layout of the site is so easy to navigate. Everything is where I would expect it to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

At the free level, you can only send 10 request emails per month. And sometimes I feel like uploaded pdfs decrease in image quality slightly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best-in-Class UX for Sending Documents"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

I enjoy how simple it is to send documents. I have tried many other platforms and this one had the best UX flow and was very user friendly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

I don't like how you have to pay to use it more than 10 times, but it is understandable. I wish there was other things to do in order to earn more document send outs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Free Signatures Without Paywalls"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

i really like how easy it is, its so straightforward compared to other tools iv tried. plus the best part is definitely that its free. youdont have to deal with annoying paywalls just to get a simple signature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

the only annoying thing is that they cap you at a certain amount of documents a day. if you have a bunch of stuff to send out all at once it can be kind of a pain to wait for it to reset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DocuSeal: Clean, Developer-Friendly, Self-Hosted eSign with Great Data Control"
4.5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

What I like most about DocuSeal is that it’s an open-source, self-hostable alternative to DocuSign, with a clean UI and a straightforward setup. It feels developer-friendly and cost-effective, and it gives businesses more control over their data as well as their signing workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

One downside of DocuSeal is that it still offers fewer advanced features and integrations than larger platforms like DocuSign or Adobe Sign. As a result, some enterprise-level workflows and automation options feel more limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DocuSeal’s Clean, Practical E-Signatures in Minutes"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

What I like most about DocuSeal is how straightforward it feels.

Some e-signature tools try to do everything and end up feeling bloated. DocuSeal is the opposite - clean interface, no unnecessary friction, and you can get a document out for signature in minutes without needing a tutorial. That simplicity is genuinely refreshing.

Overall, it just feels practical. It does what you need, doesn’t overcomplicate things, and gets out of your way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

Can't think of any; I simply use it to quickly get documents signed by clients and it does that in a straightforward way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for document signing, fair pricing and super easy to use ⭐"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuSeal?

DocuSeal has been a great addition to our workflow. 🙌 The interface is clean and intuitive, and honestly everyone on the team just figured it out without any onboarding. But what really won us over is the pricing. Compared to other tools in this space, it's just so much more reasonable without compromising on quality or features. Easy to set up, easy to use every day. We haven't made use of their customer support yet, so we can't say anything about that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuSeal?

Not much to say here honestly. 😄 We've been using it for a while now and haven't really run into anything that frustrated us. Maybe there's room to grow on the integrations side, but nothing that's caused us any real issues so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
