After test-driving their product, we decided to use their official DocuSeal website instead of self-hosting it. Both the free version and the pro version are excellent tools. **What do you dislike about DocuSeal?** The ability to template documents and reuse the fields for different documents could be easier and worded better on the website. We have very long contracts/forms that we use between different parties, and having the ability to keep the fields in the same position would be very helpful when switching between different forms. This elongated the sales process and caused many barriers to sales. It was not only time-consuming for the customers, but also for our staff. Docuseal was recommended via a reddit post of useful free applications. the free version is a true USP and served us very well for a few months. I'm pleased to say we have since outgrown it and as a result have now gone to the paid version. As we had grown to know and love the product, we took advantage of the yearly deal getting two months free. IT was a no-brainer to us as the free version had acted as a proof of concept. I have no hesitation in recommending Docuseal to anyone. **What do you dislike about DocuSeal?** There is a small challenge. I set up a template doc with a blank order form. I then copy it and replace it with the correct one so that the fields for signature, date etc are all aligned. The challenge is if I log in on a different device, the fields are not aligned. I'm able to get round this by creating another template, so though annoying it isn't ultimately a deal breaker. **What problems is DocuSeal solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes the sales process much simpler for both my team and the client. I believe that if I am not using DocuSeal computing resources, then I shouldn't have to pay for api calls.
