"Docuclipper for the Win!"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuClipper?

I had a large bookkeeping project and the client could only provide hard copy statements. I used Docuclipper to pull all of the data into excel and then did a simple import into QBO so that I had an up to date bank feed. It saved me a significant amount of time in bookkeeping years of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuClipper?

I taught myself how to use the product. I may have missed the onboarding videos or the onboarding communication was on the light side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easiest Way to Transfer Old data to QBO or QBD"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuClipper?

We are accountants by trade, and this software has made our job easier. When we have a client that is behind on their books, we simply convert their old bank and credit card statement transactions using DocuClipper and import the transactions in the web connect format to QBD. It is so easy and we save so much time. We love this software! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuClipper?

I don't see it is a downside, but there are so many good features to discover on this software, but we have not had the time to do so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about DocuClipper?

I can't recommend Doculipper highly enough. I had five years’ worth of taxes that needed to be amended, and I was struggling to find software that could handle the job efficiently—until I found Doculipper.

What makes this tool stand out is its ability to seamlessly convert bank statements into clean, well-formatted Excel files. No weird formatting issues, no endless copy-pasting, and no wasted hours trying to make the data usable. You simply upload your statements, and it handles the rest.

The platform also lets you easily categorize transactions and even set custom rules, which is a huge help for organizing complex financial data. But for me, the most valuable feature is its export-to-Excel functionality—it’s accurate, clean, and saves me literally hundreds of hours I would have spent doing it manually.

If you're a business owner, accountant, or just someone trying to clean up their financial records, Doculipper is a must-have tool. It made an overwhelming process simple, and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with large volumes of financial data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Docuclipper is 200% more accurate than free AI apps"

What do you dislike about DocuClipper?

A QuickStart would be helpful. Maybe it is there, but I missed it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable alternative"
4/5
What do you like best about DocuClipper?

I have been using DocuClipper for my fraud examinations and do appreciate that you can extract data with so far a 95% reliability on non organic (scanned) documents. You do have to rework the other 5%, but the keying entries are not as time consuming. The reliability of organic PDF's has a great than 99% rate on what I have extracted. I also appreciate the alternative to other data extraction softwares as this one is by far more affordable. The multiple outputs or download options - or to import into QBO or Xero if that is what you need - works fantastic for what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuClipper?

There are some glitches as with any software. The glitches aren't significant enough to be concerning. I wish there was a better function or option for reading the data on cancelled checks, but with multiple checks to a page DocuClipper hasn't conquered that function yet so I just avoid it all together. The dates are often read incorrectly so you really need to be on top of your game on making sure you only upload statements by either month or grouped year otherwise it is a nightmare to figure out what entries are for a specific year or month. Once you get that checks and balances down to a science it isn't as problematic. The popup question on what line of work are you in after every extraction is annoying. "Bank Statement Conversion"
5/5
What do you like best about DocuClipper?

I used DocuClipper for a new client that required I go back and reconcile the last 5 years of bank statements. Unfortunately the bank wouldn't allow csv downloads that far back. I used DocuClipper for this project and was able to upload into the accounting software to perform a monthly reconciliation. It saved me countless hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DocuClipper?

No real issues. It takes a little time to get a feel for the software but not too hard after a little experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
